Ken really holds the path to Shangri-La for a lot of his investors here. I'll praise him as a Messiah if he gets all this to work. It's crazy how much BTC is blowing up and if he really gets us hashing away we can end up being some of the most profitable people in BTC for the coming months. /cheerleading

Anyways. Do you guys expect an announcement (good or bad) before or after Turkey day? For the non-Americans that is Thursday November 29th.
I really hope it's before, since the first miners are supposed to ship by the end of the month. Ken implied that the news is positive.

Info from a competitor:

Update

PR & Communications
We understand that transparency and communication to shareholders and the public needs improvement. We are in the process of identifying a dedicated employee for this. We will issue bi-weekly reports for shareholders and improve response time for questions.

Next Gen Chips
The projected time of taping out of Gen3 is January 20. Power consumption target estimation is <0.2W per G on low power mode and <0.2$ per G on wafer cost. Please notice that the timeline is of course subject to change/adjust, and the estimation on power and cost is also based on software tool/simulation results.

Current Hardware Sales
The number of cubes left for sale/deployment is 9000. About 1/3 are ordered already. All older devices (USBs/new blades) are sold out.

G.ASICMINER
If nothing unexpected happens, Ukyo will provide a shareholder list to Friedcat on Dec 1, for direct shares.

0.2W/GH? I would love to know how they are beating all of the competition in power efficiency. I'll believe it when I see it.

It's low power mode AKA low hash rate mode.  Decrease what little chance you have to ever meet ROI in favor of saving a few dollars per month on electricity bills.

Maybe it has to do with the immersion cooling technology they've developed?

For once the word "FUD" would be accurate but no one uses it.

What is wrong with you people  Sad

I use it evertime drawingthefud makes a post. Hes the best fudster ive ever seen apart from myself on Labcoin.

Erm, have you seen the conversation mate? VE just claimed that something has gone seriously wrong at eASIC and that was what Pankkake was referring too.
Eh, zumzero confirms my point exactly: the FUD word is overused here, most of you probably heard it the first time on this very forum, and the one time it should be used... it isn't.
You guys use words as wisely as you use your bitcoins!

I think we can all agree that the VE post is FUD until he provides further proof.
Yup

Thank you for confirming something that only one person in this community didn't know.  We'd be lost without you.  Wink

Wait, what? Did you completely miss the point... again?
You publicly proved - unwittingly - that you overused the word FUD, and that you probably don't understand it. Do I need to explain again why you are making a fool of yourself?

You're putting people on this forum on the same intellectual level as you. You shouldn't even waste your time.

Here's the point pancake.  You ARE a fud.  You are the FUD-FOR-HIRE.   The man who tried to sell his soul but no-one was buying.  Or was it HIRE-A-TROLL?  I couldn't dig your thread up so I'm left thinking you removed it because the shame was too much for you to bare.  We wouldn't want to appear foolish now, would we?

Oh and I'm Scottish you big numpty.  DON'T tell me I don't know a fud when I see one.

I'm going to post the same warning as I posted in the Cointerra thread.  Because Bitcoin is worth so much right now, the chances of being scammed is increased proportionately.  Start acting NOW, as I have.  Stop worshipping Ken and question him, learn what he is actually doing.  Investigate every word he says, every promise he makes, and talk to AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN who are involved with this.  Prepare yourself now as I have done.  Don't let him BFL you.

What a weirdo.

ActiveMining will scam its customers but not voluntarily, incompetence should be enough.

Why do you think Ken hasn't deleted my posts lately?  I am calling him out, and he's running like a bitch.

If you were calling him out, wouldn't it make more sense to censor you?

If I may say so, the posts coming from VE don't read like it's him so at least one of the following must be true:

(i)    It's not him
(ii)   It is him and he's lost the plot
(iii)  pancake is a fud

EDIT:   VE paid Ken $5000 to transfer shares onto btct.co from Bitfunder.  If he'd have bought Bitcoins instead then today they would be worth $50,750.  This assumes an exchange rate of $80 per coin back then.

I mean this transaction was only the tip of the iCEBERG,  VE and Ken have history because VE used to stalk him.  Who thinks VE has motive for what he's attempting?

As zumzero would say, it was all FUD... until now.  Now Ken is running because I got a little too deep.  The truth is threatening his lies.

You were trying to get in ball deep you dirty little stop-out but Ken had to knock you back.

PM from VE

You should refund all the orders in FIAT (with borrowed money if you have to), and keep all the machines for ActM.  This is the only move that makes sense when bitcoin is $750.  Think about it.  Everyone wins...

That's just too funny.

Either you own the bitcoins(private keys) or you don't. However with moneroj, nobody knows what you own.
