I understand that people are worried about the WoF but remember. he burning question in my mind here is what is the health of the site overall. if if anything happens to the BTC then the alarms will really go off. So far that isn't happening.

If Wetsuit and thequin can't or don't feel ike posting that is on them, however a small update from time to time would help a ton. Also, some speculate this coud be them migrating due to changes in legislation etc. I'm still participating but with caution.

If for whatever reason, freebitco.in goes down now, there is really no alarms that are going off, freebitco doesnt have the user base like Binance where we could assume that their shutting down could lead to a mass selloff of bitcoin, thereby dragging the price of bitcoin down and as a result, making longer the time we expect the coming bull run to be 😁.

Freebitco doesnt even have an active user base that is close to what user base of Stake currently, so, trust me, if this site goes down, it's won't even remove a cent from the price of bitcoin at the time, maybe and maybe not, the price of fun token will be greatly affected, but not bitcoin.

Understand that my posts are completely about users approaching this forum expecting customer service. I don't think this will affect BTC that badly were anything to happen. However, the community would lose a realy nice way to stack sats and introduce people to the ecosystem. That's who and what i'm worried about. This has been one of the best and most trustworthy sites in the background allowing people to learn and enjoy the space. Again i'm hoping that they have someone simply check in with us every once in a while, or even better provide a new customer service portal.

I dont think its an immediate big deal unless the worst outcome occurred but FBC is a long term site that alot of new people to crypto have contact with so I do imagine some negatives from its absence.   Free market theory would say when one business declines another replaces it and possibly better but I would guess there is a lull from the absence and so a negative of some kind to be fair.

Stake is very long term good site and there are a few other crypto casinos I've known similarly as well many new setups but I think they all have their audience share and brand to some extent.  Disappear this particular one and BTC overall is a little worse off though eventually some other enterprise would serve people I guess.
   BTC has a double life in the speculative highs and froth and the base line of actual usage and a far more basic price that develops over many years.  Just by any reduction in monetary velocity it could be some negative, less sites and variety to market options available to customers probably does alter the base price along the way and slows us slightly.

Very positive action to BTC today and as of late.  If it can improve further still from the peak today then it would make it the 3rd month in a row with a higher high, help break us into new ground rather then repeat in circles till we're dizzy as we've been doing.
 This is still a revision of 2021, so default situation is to repeat like a broken record; optimism is 4x odds for new ATH and pessimism pays best this month so I bet down till its done something new.

That's strange because I checked ToS of some Costa Rica licensed casinos and each of them have stated that users located in Costa Rica are prohibited from using the service but when I check Freebitco's ToS, Costa Rica isn't in the list, instead, citizens of Curacao, along some other citizens are prohibited from using the website. This makes me assume that Freebitco.in has a Curacao license. Freebitco openly admits that games offered on the website are provided and regulated by FBC BV, then I check dPlay, which is also provided and regulated by FBC BV exactly and on dPlay I read that it's registered in Curacao, so, Freebitco should have a Curacao License.

You shouldn’t consider the role of wetsuit or thequin anymore when playing on this casino. It’s crystal clear that the 2 trusted user was already not part of this casino anymore considering how silent they are on all the issue happened to this casino.

If they aren't part of Freebitco.in, then who is? Wetsuit was the owner and TheQuin was his employer AFAIK. They haven't sold Freebitco, there hasn't been on ownership change but this overall situation around Freebitco is very distressing and unexplainable. It was one of the few websites where I could gamble legally. They were also making good profits, I don't know why their turned 180^o.

I checked tos aswell and I too think they have curacao licence. But wouldnt that make them have to put KYC, maybe they have problems with the law and thats causing the loss of WOF

You can check in the premium section how many fun tokens are locked in this casino, but that number could be a large portion of freebitcoin because I suspect many investors have sold their tokens because the price never improves.

That is the risk when entrusting our assets to an online platform, yesterday they might be trusted but slowly there will be unexpected things that will ultimately be detrimental to investors.

I guess I always misunderstood Electrum 2FA then, I thought it was solely for signing transactions, and even on their documentation it seems to say you can disable it by just entering the seed phrase to create a new wallet and then disable 2FA. It did strike me as the point of failure so it makes sense now.

Thank y'all very much. I do use electrum. The issue I'm having is it not allowing me to reset my 2fa even though it says it will take 8 days then nothing happens I've done it more times than I can count and it said I have to login from the area I last logged in which is in another state. I thought I had the secret key but it's saying it's wrong. Just a big old mess. Been driving me absolutely crazy. Is it possible for me to deposit into it again and sign the message that way? I apologize for the many questions. I feel like a 3rd grader when it comes to understanding and accumulating knowledge for this. I appreciate the patience

Hey guy, like @hosseinimr93 says, you don't need to own any amount in your wallet, to sign any address inside the wallet.

So get it from your Electrum, make a new wallet, choose restore, and get your wallet from the seed. I'm very sure the new wallet won't have 2fa.

Ok, I am going to read this over a few times. I had no idea that was possible. How do I get my seed? I feel so dumb for consistently attempting different things to access it since 2020! I even talked to The Quinn at that period in time and it was at the exact time frame he stopped assisting everyone.

Ok I responded to that last message to quickly then read this message underneath. There are just some many weird things about this situation though that don't make sense. For one. Even though I wasn't able to access my account, I was still receiving emails every week showing how much my compounding interest was gaining with what I had in there. In May all the sudden it just stopped and seemed like somehow the account lost all it's value. Secondly. If a casino misbehave and open up another casino website, they will still do the same because the same mindset that s still there. So if Dplay.Casino is own by Freebitco then players should expect the same treatment from them. If the two have FBC BV license then probably they are own by one but we can only assume that because there is no concrete evidence right now.

You deposited to freebitco before and now you want to sign a message from that to prove your ownership over the account. Am I getting you correctly? If so, where does that address belong to? Where did you deposit to freebitco from?

Did you import the address to electrum? If so, how did you do that? If you just imported the address, you created a watch-only wallet and you can't sign message from that.

dPlay is connected with Freebitco, but they are operating independently. However, they don't want to provide any help for Freebitco related issues now. If I remember it correctly, we were only able to play at dPlay by using our Freebitco account in the early days. Now they have other login methods too. We have rarely seen complaints related to any issues with dPlay casino here. I think that the license FBC BV isn't covering Freebitco, Dplay.Casino is only registered under FBC BV.

So I originally used coinbase trading platform to deposit the transactions to free Bitcoin. That's why I can't sign the messages because I didn't know at the time what signing a message even was or that it was a thing. So because I used the exchange platform I screwed myself. Then I switched over to samurai wallet only to be let down yet again because the samurai wallet app is now seized by the feds. I have my recovery words for it and my password, even a pin number and a pay my username. But it's more complicated to recover than just a normal bip39 type of wallet. I believe it was a bip84🤔? And I don't know if it was legacy or segwit, segwit legacy etc.

BIP84 refers to the script type of your addresses and it means that your addresses are segwit and start with bc1.
Your seed phrase should be BIP39 and you should be able to recover your wallet in electrum.
