Anybody know the average hashrate for the Gridcoin network and how many coins have been produced thus far? Just curious. I think this is by far the best idea for an alternative crypto. Think of all the wasted electricity with those other currencies!

You have to check the block explorer http://explorer.gridcoin.us/. The coin count will be displayed soon, the dev is working on that now.

Hey guys, got through the qualifying round and compiled what was rated highest into a few more polls (only 15 this time, 8 entries per poll) in order to determine which 6 designers will go on as finalists. any news on coding the total supply on the block explorer? 

Its a big deal; still working on it.  We're getting a feed of fees+master coinbase amounts but still missing CPU mined coinbase amounts.

BTW, What is this for?  What project is waiting for this data  - can you please send a link?

I found this interesting site and GRC is listed there. http://www.wheretomine.com/#home But there is no any info about price, diff and other. I wrote a mail to wheretomine@gmail.com in which i put links to Block Explorer and c-cex API. I hope that owners of the site will notice it. You can do the same, guys
And i hope soon we will get modified Block Explorer with total quantity of coins. If i'm right we got 8'940'600 GRC mined already.

We finally got the underlying problem fixed; the coinbase transactions in some circumstances are complicated with all the cpuminers; we had to import all the transactions into a database and modify the block explorer to pull them in, now I am seeing the full coinbase transaction list per block. 
     Now, I need to re-sync the block explorer from the genesis before we can release the new block explorer with the stats on the page.

Hopefully by tonight the numbers will be on the page.

Haven't had much experience with exchanging yet but I think it would definitely not harm Gridcoin to spread to one more exchange, especially since the next currency to be added to the exchange is vote-based with the ability to vote every 24h  I think the Gridcoin community has a fair chance of making it (at least from what I've seen so far )

I actually created that suggestion, but forgot to post here about it. I feel so proud of my minor contribution 

I was also coming by to mention the new exchange http://www.allcrypt.com/ that I just found, but it looks like someone beat me to it. Certainly would not hurt for all that support GRC to head that way and upvote GRC as much as possible. Looks like you're allowed 10 votes/day on this one, and they can all be spent on one coin (preferably GRC) if you choose. Vote here: http://www.allcrypt.com/beta/voting.php

AllCrypt has a nice, clean home page - hopefully their exchange will be just as nice.
