Update: Still no funds in my account....The support says, the bank has not received the payment yet. (I made the payment Thursday evening)
Dear angelamerkel, As you have previously mentioned - you made a SEPA transfer. SEPA zone transfers usually take 1-3 business days to arrive to our bank account. As you have made a payment Thursday evening, most probably it was processed on Friday - today is the 3rd business day. Please be patient - we hope the payment will arrive today or tomorrow morning. Regards, The HitBTC Team A Sepa transfer takes only one business day. It's not an opinion, but an european law, sir.

Anyway Angies transfer should have reached HITs bank account yesterday at the latest, unless they funnel it through an intermediary bank.

HitBTC’s Statement on the Temporal Service Unavailability on September 28-30, 2014 The part of our IT system responsible for deposit and withdrawal transactions of fiat and crypto currencies from and to the Main user account was upgraded to provide deposit and withdrawal operations with a number of banks and e-wallets simultaneously. During the software upgrade, one of our servers at our primary datacenter had failed, and we switched to our fail-over server on our secondary datacenter. Unfortunately, the fail-over server suffered technical problems and disconnected from the network. Upon investigating the situation, we discovered a split-brain condition affecting the main and secondary datacenters. To prevent any errors propagating across all instances, we decided to halt all withdrawal and deposit operations (cryptocurrencies and fiat), to return the system to a consistent state, for the purpose of which we used our backup system. Restoring the data from the backup system and returning the system to a synchronized state took more time than planned by the upgrade. HitBTC presents some details of its IT infrastructure to demonstrate its fail-safe and redundant structure. - HitBTC uses Velia as its primary datacenter and OneProvider as its secondary datacenter for the purpose of replication. Each of the datacenters contains two parallel-operating instances of HitBTC’s program components.
- Moreover, HitBTC also makes use of a third facility for backup and restore in case of severe failures at any of its main datacenters.
We would like to assure you that HitBTC’s technicians always know what sequence of technical steps needed to be undertaken in hard situations. Regards, The HitBTC Team

@HitBTC. Can you please explain, why your bank is violating the law by taking more than 1 banking day to process payments?

Most banks complied with the regulation well before that, but you are right, where is the cash of our sucking president?!?
An official response would be nice.

Hi
I have a serious issue with HIT BTC - in fact so serious that I am beginning to wonder about how reliable HitBTC is. I have initiated 2 usd transfers on the 24th of september (40000usd and 50000usd). That was around 5 days b4 you had your upgrade problem. Since money has not arrived, i emailed your support department. The answers I got were ranging from from ridiculous to plain lies. For example: "It takes our bank a while to check large outgoing transfers" (that was 9 days after my outgoing transfers have cleared my hitBtc account so i classify it as a lie). Another example "our financing department has contacted the bank, but it takes up to 5 days for the bank to reply" (classification - lie). So can you explain what is going on? What kind of support team you have and what kind of financing department you have. How long does it take for your supoport team to walk to the office next door and blast the finance department people to solve the issue? And how long does it take your finance department people to pick up the phone and blast the bank people to find the funds? Or perhaps it is a more serious matter? One that i dont even dare think about!! Please let me know and all the good people on this forum, how is hitbtc, the most advanced cryptocurrency exchange, going to handle this matter?
Thank you

@arie - are u serious? U wired them 90K USD? I thought there was a limit of 50K/day?!?
I still think, hitBTC is a good business. Their service, fees, customer service & API is the best on the market - the only thing they can be blamed for is chosing such a ****ed up banking partner. But this is the fucked up world we live in.
Any news? Just for clarification - the transfers I am talkin about are "outgoing" transfers (withdrawals) from my two HitBtc accounts to my bank
Any news?

Why is your bank constantly breaking the law? I made another deposit Thursday morning and it has not arrived yet. Since February also Estonian banks are required to process payments within 1 business day. Please tell me, why I shouldn't sue your bank? why I shouldn't send your bank a huge present for not letting me buy Bitcoin on Friday when the price was 20% higher than it is now.
Dear angelamerkel, We are very sorry to hear you have encountered any issues while using our services. HitBTC Finance Department is able to check the processing of specific payments. In order to get the information please PM us with your HitBTC UserID and send a transfer receipt from the originating bank (not a screenshot). A transfer receipt can be sent to our Support Office ( support@hitbtc.com). Thank you in advance! Regards, The HitBTC Team

Hello angelamerkel, are you talking about a withdraw or deposit? Since how much time you are waiting for the money? Its pretty sad, that hitbtc causes such issues. It could be such a nice exchange. Good luck angela!
