I'm sure I'm being paranoid here but the conflicted transaction has gone, isn't on the blockchain and it seems like my balance is lower than it should be by about 100DRK.

Must check my facts though...the receiving address doesn't have it

I hope I'm just confused  Cry
if it's not on blockchain and gone from your wallet than 100 DRK should be back on your _sending_ address

Whoever mines the block which ends up containing your transaction will get its fee.

Definitely just confused.

Anyway, that 100 DRK was a bet @ 4:1 and I won so happy days Smiley

11.0.10 Core - All Users

Downloads: https://darkcointalk.org/threads/0-11-0-darkcoin-core-release.3601/page-12#post-37320

Darksend users please update and remix your coins to try this and improve your anonymity

Nearly perfect darksend (https://github.com/darkcoin/darkcoin/commit/bbd869589cb08945680627d60c5c091cbd2e8208).

- Found the collateral issue that's been causing users to get charged when they shouldn't be. Now collateral should be charged in about 1 in 40 sessions.
- Improvements to DS anonymity - no change will ever be returned to a user in a pool.
- DS Anonymity improvements for smaller wallets (will have a positive effect on all wallets though)
- DS should also be much faster at mixing
- EXACT DS anonymitizing amounts are now supported (UdjinM6)
- There's a known issue anonymizing small amounts of DRK, try larger amounts if you have any problem (UdjinM6 is working on this)

Performance improvements

- Found the top 5 reasons why performance is suffering for the Darkcoin client and fixed them. Now performance should be similiar to Darkcoil unless you're running Darksend mixing (DS is intensive on the CPU)

InstantX

- I'm officially moving onto finishing implementation of InstantX, expect more great things in the near future Smiley

Great! Smiley

From the new 11.0.9 version :
Quote
- "--litemode" added, which allows the client to run without Darksend, Masternodes or InstantX but still be compatible with the network (for slower computers or if you're not using any of that technology)
Is there a new option to put in darkcoin.conf to enable that "litemode", instead of giving it as argument on command line ?

Thanks.

litemode=1
Did you tried this or are you just guessing ? Because I dont need a kid's advice when asking something serious.

It's not working.

Do you realise that the cost of doing that would number in the region of $2000 ?

tok, you'll be glad to hear that I've taken up trading and my bot legions (well all two of the little buggers) are accumulating coin for me at about 10%/day, no witchcraft required!  Cheesy

Wow - I'm amazed that those things actually work.

Are you at liberty to disclose which one you're using ?

Sure, I have two, I have named them Buybot and Sellbot, although they both live in the same program, botz.py .

Hello,

can you send me the botz.py ? I'm a python developer and it'll be fun to look at a bot code.

protocol version is 70053 like previous 11.0.9 release!

This sounds like stable darksend, lets mix and get some liquidity providers online!

So since I'm on 11.0.9 now I don't have to do masternode start from the wallet?

I was completely floored when I read that the New York Stock Exchange had invested in Coinbase as part of its recent $75m round of funding to expand overseas:

http://www.coindesk.com/investors-sound-coinbases-record-setting-fundraising/

Firstly, I'm surprised NYSE hadn't invested in a Darkcoin business  Grin

Secondly, its an indication that they view crypto (well Bitcoin to be honest) as the potential source for future businesses that could find their way onto the stock market.

That is a very bullish move. We could see another bubble forming in a few years time as investors rush to pile money into crypto businesses. That to me is an indicator to buy up a few more crypto assets and put them in a safe or cold storage for 3-5 years.

It's also a way for the NYSE to advertise to crypto businesses that they are open for business and people shouldn't just automatically think they should head for the NASDAQ.

Be in no doubt, the establishment is taking notice. Keep on a steady path, don't lose your nerve and there will be riches for the right projects.
