Can somebody explain how I can set up a masternode and when I will get a payment for it? Also, what sort of strain will it put on my system? Thanks!

Yep, but many people are setting up their nodes in preparation for the update and to test the system. They will eventually receive 10% of the block rewards.

Not easy to use? You just do it and it does all it's magic for you, you don't need to have any technical skills to use it. Since this was just announced it simply needs some more people using it so everything can start flowing smoothly.

If it makes you feel any better, I decided to buy a significant amount of DRK 2 weeks ago, so I set the wheels in motion, sold some stock, withdrew to bank account, purchased on coinbase, and the bitcoin becomes available tomorrow by the end of the day (lol), so I will be buying at this new high price as well :/.  I don't feel too bad though because I somehow managed perfectly time my BTC purchase at that deep dip a few days ago, so my BTC has already appreciated 20%

I accidentally unloaded 10BTC worth of Dark just hours before Darksend got released and sent the price into overdrive.

Was planning on buying back in after the weekend.  Boo-urns!

Thought before couple of days to sell some LTC (maybe 200) for DRK, because i do not have BTC, but unfortunately i didn't... My BAD  

But fact that i have allready about 7000 DRK (all mined in last 2 months) makes me to feel better
