Dang it, I can't log into Cryptsy, there is a warning on the login page that says "A security error has occurred"

Anyone experience this before?

I've experienced the same damn "I'm gunna lose all my coins" paranoia symptoms that your experienceing now.

Well, thank you for that.  My fear of losing my coins forever comes from stupidly selling them late last night, LOL.  for 3 months, the price peaks at 1-4 AM PST and then drops 11AM to 3 PM.  So the ONE DAY I decide to test this out by maybe earning a few extra coins... had to be today!  Talk about lack of talent at day trading, LOL!  And I KNOW i have no talent!  

No big sympathy though, it was only a few gambling coins, didn't risk most of my stash.  Maybe bitcoin will go up, LOL

Of course, those 45 coins will be worth 45,000 dollars some day, so it's nothing to sneeze at!

Well my feeling is that you wouldn't need it for the first version of the phone wallet. I'm interested in Darkcoin but I think the message should be that Darksend is an option, not something that's part of every transaction.

I hope Even don't think like you. DarkSend should be part of every transaction(in the stable version) not an option! That's the whole point of Darkcoin after all. We don't even need an option to not using DarkSend IMO, at least not GUI one.

If every beep is signal one can find it.
The more noise the harder to decrypt the signal.

meaning:
If only people using darksend to hide something (eg from their regime) every transaction becomes a information.
If everyone has to use darksend the noise covers the signal.

In saying that, i need some BTC to purchase so i can exchange for DRK.
Does any exchange let you buy BTC with credit card?

Sorry but I don't see the price coming down much at all. There's certainly some sell pressure above .004 but there's really not any big dumping, and why should there be? DRK is finally getting closer (still not even there really) to what it should be trading at until RC2, at which point it will certainly go higher.

There's gonna be dips and spikes but there's no logical reason for a big drop from where we are at now. Crypto can be crazy sometimes but I don't think many DRK holders are silly enough to bail out now.

Wuzamarine.  I think everyone's wallet works except yours.  Save your wallet.dat out again on a usb drive and verify that you saved it out and then really delete everything.  Then reboot your machine.  Then download the latest qt file and run it.  Then close it.  Then copy your USB wallet.dat file on top of the new, empty one in the roaming folder.  Then run it again and wait and see if it fully syncs.

If this is bad advice then someone please post because I am far from a bitcoin wallet expert and I make no claims I know what the heck I am talking about.

I even starte darkcoin as admin, creating a full new profile and a new wallet, freezes at the exact same place.

Same freeze, same block, new computer, new OS, new wallet.

The icon in the task bar of this screen shot is showing the original 'xcoin' logo, which means that your using an outdated version of Darkcoin ?

I had the same problem as you. AFAIK Eduffield released a new stable version with the SAME version number to fix this and to change the toolbar icon. So you don't have the newest wallet. You don't need to use the RC1 to be fully synched.

It wouldnt surprise me if it goes back under $1, its quite a high jump, look at blackcoin, it was at over 80 cents IIRC, and its gone right down to 12 cents and dropping, it will bounce back of course, i want to buy right now, so im watching the charts very closely, i wish Cryptsy took credit card!

DRK has actual substance and innovation. The few people on this planet able to see that are holding. These people never got involved with the ShitCoins. The FadCoiners are going to run through DRK just like any other AltCoin, but what remains is that it's actually a good coin and the people who take a look at it, and have the capacity to understand that its not just another ShitCoin, are going to hold. Everyone else is still jsut going to pump and dump it because they don't know anything else and haven't bothered to see what DRK is made of. It's just another pump and dump without even looking. There will be a residual of people who figure it out, but it's still going to be abused by the typical humans.

I am 100% honey badger about it. I've chosen to bet on intelligence and science. Not that such a thing is a sound bet in a society of shaved apes, I simply can't believe in a species that goes extinct from it's own stupidity... There's got to be enough smart ones out there to recognize and float an idea like DRK. If there isn't, all hope for humanity is lost. That's a world I just won't live in. I always said I will never use Gox, yet I did. Now I always say it's obvious how Cryptsy operates, yet I traded DRK there today. They are the playground of this game. I feel I need to take the risk for the gain.

I sold pretty close to the high point. But I need to be careful where to buy back. I don't want to miss out, I traded because I want more... DRK !
