Has there been talk of pools to build masternodes and split the profits? Obviously it would need to be with someone you trust with your coins.

It was floated a few hundred pages back.

I also floated the idea of running nodes as a service i.e. paying someone to run them for you and paying them a % fee. You would need to trust them with 1000DRK or get some sort of access to change passwords on wallets.

You shall not look at DRK as any other coin or think it will follow the pattern of other coins history trend. The truth of the matter is that the people who has been around believed in this coin for the long run and this puny rise that you call a pump is nothing we even consider cashing out on (even if it is hella' tempting).

You call this a pump when it is just a preparation of a pre-prerelease. Consider what will happen when RC2 is out and then when Darksend is live and opensourced. Hail DRK mother of x11.

We also know that the longer we hold the higher the value and as long we keep these mental price range a reality, it will surely get there. In addition, this small sell offs even benefits the future of Darkcoin.

But be wary thinking you can get in cheaper.

The Darksend feature is not "stable" yet which means the bigger money operations is not yet here. What will happen then? Do I really need to spell it out for you?

With the current difficulty, there's just 5700 new coins per day - the higher network hash, the lower reward too - so the supply is very well maintained - inflation is well controlled, no need huge BTC amount daily to keep up - especially as most hold...

We are reaching the point where Aura went from $3 to $100 almost in a week or two.  Unlike Darkcoin, Aura just had nothing to keep it at the higher price and then there was the prospect of people getting their airdrops and dumping them.

This coin does not have a hard limit per say. Basically, given the expected rate of adoption, we will end up with about ~22m coins. (This number came from the dev, Evan)

Details:
Firstly, the block reward is governed by the equation in the first post where the minimum reward is 5 coins. We'll need to get to about 3400 diff before the reward hits the minimum. On top of that, the reward reduces by 7% per year with the first reduction next January.  

Assuming we hit the minimum (basically guaranteed if the coin even mildly succeeds), then after 10 years the block reward will about 2.4 coins and after 25 years still about 0.8 coins.

 This coin will be minable for a very long time into the future.

Very little sell resistance all the way up to 0.01 and even 0.02.

Majority hold/keep for masternodes, and whales have nowhere near enough to cause dump - this is a different game than all typical pump/dump.

Small corrections from time to time but very shallow, bulls are on the run. Risky to trade now, need balls of steel.
Like those guys selling at 0.003-0.004 and hoping to get back lower... now left out, and not in the dark
