For reference only (particularly to native English readers)

Many crypto-users probably are laughing when they read the CLOAK proposal.

The letter "K" in Spanish and other derivative languages has the same phonetic as "ca"

the term "K9" stands for canine (popular in many police dog divisions in multiple countries). http://www.acronymfinder.com/Canine-%28Dog%29-%28K9%29.html . Another nice good example is "U2".

For all Spanish native speakers (according with Wikipedia, the second native speaking language in the world: http://www.acronymfinder.com/Canine-%28Dog%29-%28K9%29.html )  the term "CLOAK" is phonetically identical to "CLOACA".  So for all Spanish readers, CLOACA coin is directly a joke (for some an insult to stupidity)

CLOAK->CLOACA translate as "SEWER",
https://translate.google.com/#es/en/La%20cloaca%20ol%C3%ADa%20horrible%20y%20llena%20de%20desechos.

in English, the word cloaca refers to similar things:

Cloaca is an anatomical feature of some animals. It may also refer to:
Cloaca (embryology), a structure in mammalian development.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cloaca
Cloaca (genus), a synonym for Enterobacter, a bacteria genus.
Persistent cloaca, a congenital disorder in humans. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Persistent_cloaca

Be careful and don't be part of this joke in the crypto-world. A small group of people is laughing now (and 400Million persons will laugh in the future around the world).

Just choose one single spanish person (from the 400M available around the world or some Italian/Roman culture to make a simple test). Absolutely all will laugh almost instantaneously when you show the writing term "CLOAK coin"

Premise 1: "Dark" from DARK Coin sounds like "d'Arc" in french

Premise 2: Jeanne d'Arc is a symbol of feminism. -> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joan_of_Arc

Conclusion: The secret agenda of DRK is promoting feminism.

I can play conspiracy theory too Cheesy

Good try, but very poor.
In Spanish is not a premise 1, or even a premise 2 (local high culture required from a low percent of the 78M French native speakers).
In Spanish Is a direct relation. Jusk ask whatever Spanish speaker. (even more directly related than the popular "k9' example)

I'm a native Spanish speaker (part of the 400 million persons), and the effect was instantaneous.

If you like the soccer (world FIFA cup, the biggest sport event in the world), check how many winner teams for the second round speak Spanish. Probably you will be surprise.

Try to sell Cloak coin to a native Spanish speaker.  Good luck trying to do that.

There's no need to spread FUD. "Ka" would be the pronunciation of the letter K, but not at the end of a word. If each letter were pronounced, in Latin America the pronunciation would be something like "seeleoaka" and in most of Spain "theeleoaka". How do Spanish speakers pronounce "Facebook"? Is it "Facebooka"? I don't think so.

Just let the merits of Darkcoin do the talking.

Yes, I agree.
To be honest, when I saw the first time the "CLOAK" term on Mintpal I start laughing and search in bitcointalk about the coin to see what this coin is. After read a few pages, I can't believe what they are offering. For the healthy of this forum (and to avoid a non-sense debate), I will not write my personal technical opinion about what they are doing.

Unfortunately, every time that I open the Mintpal page, I see this word and can't avoid laugh again and think how this is possible. (hope will be removed or at least renamed soon, to keep a minimum level)

Agree with you about no need to spread the FUD, but unfortunately for them, you are not right with the term "seeloaka". Is extremely easy test it, Just show the word to a native spanish speaker and you will find yourself the answer. (I'm a native spanish speaker).
End point, as my previous post said, is was a reference for native english readers. (native Hispanic readers know what I'm talking about).

Edit:
Facebook in spanish is phonetically as "feisbuk" or "feisbuc" (plural will be "feisbucs" )
cloak in spanish is phonetically as "cloaca" or "cloaka" ( plural will be "cloacas" )
Bitcoin is a very nice name and is phonetically equivalent in spanish as "bitcoin"
Monero is a premium name in spanish because is similar to "monedero" or a wallet to store coins.
Darkcoin is phonetically equivalent in spanish as "dark coin" or without any english background "dar coin" ("dar" translate as "give")

When I go to the darkcoin-qt console and type:
masternode genkey
I get "masternode list|count|current|votes> passphrase
(code -1)"

This is like the first step on every guide I've read, and it doesn't work at all. What's wrong?
P.S. Just in case I tried:
"masternode genkey"
I get "Method not found (code -32601)"
