And feedback from yesterday's Qbert block - if you flatten the block you get a hex...

What if you were to remove the circle of words? The logotype going on in the center is very interesting!

I'd be interested in that as well.

Logo is not a coin with small prints. It usually has only one "word". Plus the explanation, for example "NEM as an image plus NEW ECONOMY MOVEMENT."

About that one word, I'd like to ask that are you really wanting to make the word NEM as an ambiguous word? If there is a reason for that, I don't get it
When writing NEM as П≡M, you are very close to change the meaning. And I don't know to what.
You can Google ПEM, П≡M and П=M. Maybe Russian speaking members can clear this out.
Another ambiguity is in math: isn't there an equality sign = with an extra line? Then П≡M would mean that NEM's Movement is about 3.1415

I agree. First I didn't notice that the people were from Ukraine. It would be the best to not connect cryptos to any conflict in real life.

I share your opinion. It could get bad for NEM, when we take a picture of ukrainian revolution. NEM should be a crypto-currency without political influence. Otherwise this could lead to a political discussion and destroy NEM.
So please, let political issues outside NEM or this project could die before its development.

It was a joke sorry. I read some more about the situation in Ukraine this morning and looks like it is getting worse and worse, even with the looming thread of a prolonged civil war. We do have a few Ukrainian friends here and I hope they are taking care of themselves.

A generic symbol that contains all three N - E - M characters. Someone with artistic skills will need to work more on this.

After the QBert-like logo, this one remind me of my old Vectrex I'm a sucker for old video games, so I love it!

Fatih has it right. In traditional logo designing the target is simple, and even tried to do with two colours: background colour and the design itself with other colour.
EFFV's design is stylish. Maybe in computer world the traditional logo rules won't do anymore?
Anyway I would make no useless angles because they take space, and no reflections where letters reflecting in the logo's surface. Also wouldn't use any shades.



Some of thread's comments reflect that here is not quite understood the real work 
They do respect the work of developers - with fear, as they should Still not they don't understand that logo design work is quite similar: planning, trying several ideas, isn't it. It takes time. Therefore I don't understand that logos would be created from nothing in an hour by some light bulb vision And even by one member. I could imagine that the members of bitcointalk are not designing logos as a full day worker. In that case they must do teamwork, in a way or another, to combine the ten minutes of member A with half an hour of member B with an hour of member C etc. to get a good simple logo.
Or otherwise you must trust that you have luck.

Like these ideas, I will come back with some new designs!
