Well, this shouldn't have affected it, since the time is before the block bonus even started, but I miscalculated or something, maybe in adding that secondary 100 NOTE bonus, and the pool wallet of what was held for users was more than the current total in the wallet sometime in the last few hours. Which is no problem, I had off-loaded reserves to cold wallet.

Which I just sent some back so wallet total is now back over what is marked as held for users (plus more than enough to cover the end of the 100 Bonus).

So I just tried a manual payout of my 3.455... balance and received it within a minute.

But again, I don't believe that should have been the problem since it's showing confirmed and is out in the block chain. The pool just wouldn't have sent it at all if the wallet couldn't cover it. Let me know, and I'll follow along as well, that you get it and/or what the issue of receiving it might be.

It probably shouldn't matter, but you could try deleting the blk*.dat files ([user]/AppData/Roaming/DNotes) to have your wallet re-update the whole block chain. Also, I don't think altexplorer is using the updated daemon. For example, on their main DNotes page it says current block is 151,197 but it's actually block 151,084

We're still working on upgrading as well.  Altexplorer reached out top me last night and was experiencing some fo the same issues I've had with the new source now synching.  I also have to rebuild the chain again on CharityMiningPools because it picked up an old version again and threw the same error I had yesterday.  Anyway, we can double check all of the addnodes listed?  There was a period last night when I was working on things that I could not synch any new blocks at all for about an hour.

OK, so I just wanted to say to the dev's that it is a great call to decrease the supply of Dnotes, even it if means that in the short run there will be little incentive to mine it. I will be watching the price shifts of Dnotes quite closely, not just because I'm a large stake holder, but because I'm hoping to apply real world economic models to the crypto world and see how they fit. You see, crypto makes easily observable and repeatable test conditions. I may even include some observed results from the crypto world in my next essays.

Regardless, my knowledge of how to create anything of Note to this community is rather limited, other than the most limited exposure to Java and C++ from university several years ago, I find my ability to contribute inadequate. I am fully aware that I can go to work on facebook, twitter and other social mediums to raise awareness and so forth, but I feel that I want to (and there may be others out there with similar desires) make contributions that are more tangible - programs, apps and the like. I really like Dnotes and have mined it since I found out about it a few days after  its release.

Does anybody have any recommendations on skills / languages / abilities that would seriously benefit both my learning curiosity, and the Dnotes project?

Yeah, I'll definitely do that, I'd need to have good controls in place and study the market each day, watch for whale buy walls and other externalities that could affect the conclusions. The cool thing about this coin in particular is I suspect there aren't really any whales (certainly hope not). If there are, they are mighty cheeky and have slowly amassed a large number of Dnotes, but I feel the shared stake concept may have worked, giving a more equal distribution than otherwise. I've mined since Dnotes began, and have purchased around about as much as I have mined with bitcoin, but this still equates a rather minuscule percentage of the total supply. If people choose to hold onto their Notes, then it would certainly affect the price at the exchanges, so to some degree it makes sense that nobody dumps their coins (prisoners dilemma) since nobody will benefit. Anybody who plans on a long term hold could potentially do quite well if the developers plans come to appropriate fruition. In time online stores will accept Dnotes, to encourage it to be used as a currency. I would do it first, but I live in New Zealand, so postage would be... bothersome / expensive unless I can think of NZ products that differ from those in the US and UK or find a means of dropshipping.

As a rule, we do not publicly disclose projects we are working on, until they have been full tested and ready to be launched.
