Looks like Crypto Rush Exchange is getting close to a comeback.  They reported that “Community closed beta has kicked off with great turnout!”  They have taken their time to do things right by investing a great deal of time and resources with some top talents from the industry. Working very hard quietly and doing all the necessary testing without making premature claims reminds me of our Development Team. I expect them to do well. The timing is excellent for DNotes.

We know that a lot of you have been very dedicated and pushing real hard voting for DNotes to be listed on Mintpal. We appreciated that very much. Keep up the good work.

Remember Mintpal just got hacked last week. Although Mintpal was lucky enough to get bailout by VRC dev team, last week was still the most terrible and busiest week for this exchange since it launched. I don't believe Mintpal had any spare time to take care of voting last week

And for DNotes, better don't put excessive hope on Mintpal as many traders are now moving away from this exchange

That is a very good point.  After being hacked so many times in a matter of months Mintpal's trading volume has already been negatively affected. However, it will still give DNotes added exposure, if selected.

Voting on Mintpal is probably the only thing that is really visible right now, but there is lots going on behind the scenes.  As Dyna said, nothing they are working on will be revealed until it is ready - no hype.  I am patiently waiting for someone to arrive that is going to help me with something I am working on.  Anything you could do to get more people involved with DNotes would be a great help.  Do you have any other ideas?

We do not disclose our projects until they have been successfully tested and ready for launch. Like other crypto currencies, we “wish” to see that DNotes is accepted by many merchants. However, just “wishing” is not good enough. We are doing a lot more to make DNotes a preferred medium of exchange for global commerce. This involves a lot of development behind the scenes. This is just one of many areas we are working on.

Thanks for your confidence and support. DNotes is certainly not the most exciting crypto for short term trade. DNotes is a value play for long term investors. I believe most of our stake holders understand that very well. The strength of DNotes’ trading range between  580 to 620 Satoshi over the last 4 weeks is a very good indicator that the upward trend will continue, most likely sooner than later. It is looking very promising that DNotes will be one of coin market cap’s top 50s by September 2014. That will be an enviable accomplishment by itself.

It has been an extremely busy summer for me so far. This will slow down a little in another week. There many topics I am planning to research on and write about in the coming months. This will include some joint research work with TeeGee. We are very appreciative of his contributions. We will also be covering the very important subject of Open Source Code which we strong support and expect to be making significant contributions. However, we are deeply troubled by the premature releases of work in progress that are quickly copied by competitors. That practice, in my opinion (imo) is unproductive and damaging. We fully support Open Source Code but will only release our work after it has been fully tested and launched. Your comments and recommendations will be appreciated.

1. Will government regulations come down hardest on currencies with 100% anonymity?   The government's #1 concern is tax evasion, not criminal activity, even though it is the flip side of the same coin.

2. What does DNotes target market need?  Corporations must operate within very strict and transparent rules. Do they need a coin with that level of anonymity or will it make them look guilty by association?  How would a corporation benefit from 100% annonymity in a currency if government regulations allowed it?

3. Do we need more anonymity or should we leave the 'super stealth, under the cloak of darkness' activity to another coin???


On a political note:  Federal political parties in Canada cannot accept anonymous donations of more than $20.

Dnotes already has what it needs. Being totally anonymous (never really possible) will, I believe, be a bar to entry into any currently operating currency or payment system. The underground will no doubt prosper from it as long as they can but, in the end, the powers that be will break it or, break them. We all know this deep down even if we don't want to admit it. So, I for one, am against adding anon features, there are plenty of others doing it, no need for us to mimic them.

Something I do think would be most useful is to work toward making DNotes a payment system not just a coin. PayPal needs competition, even if they are looking at "integrating" Bitcoin. Do what they do but do better, cheaper, faster and with digital currency.

To sum it up, functions not features. I believe this is the road to acceptance and value for DNotes investors like myself.
