The only T20I b/w Pak and Aus will be played today and after that CA will release its players for IPL. We saw 3 tests and 3 ODIs but its disappointing to see that most entertaining format is getting only one match. Its probably because CA wanna release its players for IPL. Good news for Finch as Aus interim coach Andrew McDonald is still backing him to lead Aus in WC T20 later this year despite his bad form.

Since the start of the last T20 World Cup in the UAE in October 2021, Finch has played 12 T20Is and three ODIs without making a half-century. Across 15 innings, including both formats, he averages 15.73 with a strike rate of just 97.92. Source

I will expect Pakistan to win this match as usual. The outcome of the match will largely depend on the performance of Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan. If the Australian bowlers can get these two players out quickly then Australia can control the match.

I agree with you. Pakistan's current squad is very experienced in the T20 format. Pakistan had won all three T20 matches in the previous series against the West Indies. Earlier, they had won all the T20 matches of the series against Bangladesh. Pakistan has not lost a single T20 match since the T20 World Cup. Hopefully they will maintain this continuity and beat the Australian team.

Australia haven’t their main some player. They are missing in Pakistan series. Because Australia’s some experienced player planing ILP right now.And the others,Pakistan is very strong in T-20 site. I think it is great news for Pakistan that the board is going to concentrate on international cricket a lot more instead of PSL. Because in cricket a country needs to have International recognition before starting a Cricket League of its own and we have all known for a long time Pakistan did not host any team in their country.
Now things are starting to look better for Pakistan and I expect after this Australia tour a lot more teams are going to be interested.

Recently we have some good changes in PCB which are helping them for revival of cricket in Pakistan and with Australian tour now surely many positive expects will happen for them in PSL and International cricket both ways. This year in PSL 2022 they have record profit which helps franchise also in big way and as now PCB already announced they are working on bidding of players instead of draft system hopefully this will bring some more interest for many other players and investors because this is good news.
After Sri Lankan incident there were some issues with Pakistan and teams were no visiting, but recently things are change with specially Australian tour now doors are open hopefully in next one or two years all teams will tour Pakistan without any fear or problem which will help all stakeholders in positive way.

It seemed a lot more problematic for any other teams to visit Pakistan before this Australian tour. But now I think a lot more countries are going to tour Pakistan, that is obviously going to put a lot more attention on them.

I think concentrating on international cricket is really good but as they have achieved a record profit from this year's PSL it might be good to also concentrate on the PSL along with international cricket. a lot more players are also going to be interested to play in the PSL if the international side of Pakistan looks better.

Pakistani greeted the Aussie team with open arms - they give so much love and respect to the guest. Which is a good sign but there are always foreign inference to pull down the image of Pakistan. But on the other hand I also question why it is always Pakistan and why not any other country?

it's quite obvious, isn't it? the media and a lot of other people are just trying to make Pakistan look bad because they still have an undeveloped brain. and also so I think this is happening because of some Islamophobes are in some important roles in the society of other countries.

@kro55 while there’s no doubt about Pakistan’s excellence in this format, but Australia is a not a weak team and they should not be underestimated hence I’m expecting a good match between these two sides. Also Pakistan is going to be the favourites, because of their home advantage but yet I feel that Australia will put up a strong fight therefore one should be cautious if wagering too much on this game.

Why do you have only one T20 match to be played between Australia and Pakistan?

They had three test matches and then three one day matches scheduled between them. Why not they had the three T20 matches to make the T20 series complete

Although Rizwan managed to score 23 runs, Fakhar Zaman returned to the dressing room without collecting any runs. Babar Azam is still at the crease after scoring 43 runs. If he is out, Pakistan's innings will stop within 140. But if he can play well, I think Pakistan will collect more than 180.

I think this match is evenly balanced at the moment or i can say Australia has an upper hand now as they have taken some quick wickets after the 67 runs partnership between Rizwan and baber. Any score less than 180 will not be enough on this wicket. A lot depends on how pakistan lower middle order finishes the game. Also, pakistan will have to take early wickets if they want to win this T20 against the strong Australian team.

If Pakistan is able to score 160 runs from the situation they are in, it would be a decent total. They are loosing wickets and not able to score runs after the first wicket partnership and they already lost their 5th wicket. Hasan Ali and Khushdil Shah is in the crease and lets see how big they can score

RCB lost 5 wickets and collected only 87 runs. I was very upset to see them batting. RCB lost the first wicket by 55 runs and they lost 4 wickets out of 62 runs. They can't expect to win by batting so irregularly. We expect more responsible performance from a player like Kohli.
However, RCB needed 83 off 44 balls to win. As they have already lost 5 wickets, it is almost impossible for Bangalore to win this match now.

The way Babar and Rizwan opened the innings it was looking that Pakistan might cross 200 but Pakistan keep losing wickets after Rizwan got out. Still the game is very much balanced though Aus have upper hand.

Dinesh Karthik and Shabaz played well according to the situation and made RCB win the match by 4 wickets. The opening was good, but in between unwanted wicket fall narrowed the winning  chance. Finally the partnership between Dinesh Karthik and Shabaz lowered the required run rate which went above 12 runs per over.

In the Australia vs Pakistan match, Australia is quite strong with 109 runs losing 3 wickets with 9 overs left to reach the target.

Pakistan's start was very good, but their middle order is not performing as they need to do because you can't win all matches with just one or two players you need a complete package like Australia they have done amazing job in bowling and then in batting even they were losing wickets regularly but Finch done super performance after losing ODI series with his poor performance, but they come back very strongly and end their tour on high note with a comfortable win in only T20.

They could be very happy as their new generation players giving performance in both short formats because now they can bring some good changes for T20 and ODI World cup which are coming, and they are doing these experiments just for these two mega events.

I was hoping to see more T20 matches between the two countries but unfortunately, only one match was planned surprisingly. The match had some twists but in the end, the Australians were able to win it. As told by Baber Azam after the match that they were around 20 runs short otherwise they could have had more chances of winning.

Australia has won the match by three wickets and with five balls in hand. I actually did not expect this because after the Pakistan team put on 162 runs on the board I thought it will be enough because Pakistan has a good bowling lineup.  but Australia proved me wrong and won the match.

Australia won the match by 3 wickets and I am genuinely surprised to see the bowling of Pakistan. Australian proper order and Middle-order played really well. all of them played important innings and Marcus Stoinis did really well to get 23 runs in just 9 balls. that really helped the other batsman to relieve some pressure and a normal. other than that Travis Head and Aaron Finch also played really well, both of them laid the foundation for the win.
