Rajasthan Royals collected 6 runs in 13 overs. Their run rate is now 6.69. They have lost only two wickets. Their run rate is so low it amazes me. I thought maybe today they would give more than 200 targets, since Mumbai's bowling is not good. But now it seems that Rajasthan Royals will not be able to do more than 160-170. And if Mumbai can hold Rajasthan below 170, then maybe they are going to get a win first.

After having 8 consecutive losses Mumbai Indians has won their first match today in this season. The target wasn't so big, still Mumbai had to play until the final over to get the victory. The score was 41 runs after 6 over. They made 20 runs in the 7th over. I think it was the turning point of the match.

I did not expect Mumbai Indians to win any matches this season but the difference i saw was that their bowlers played a crucial role in securing their victory by reducing Rajasthan Royals to a sub par total than they used to score and yet the Mumbai Indian batsman struggled to cross the winning line .

Based on the all seasons performance, Mumbai and Chennai are the best two teams of IPL. But they are at showing worst performance in this season and staying at the last two rank. Perhaps, none of them will qualify for the next round of this season.

There is no way they will get qualified for the next round, but they were performing well in the past but this time around they changed many major players in the Mumbai Indian squad and hence they are struggling to win matches.

For the Chennai Super Kings, Ravindra Jadeja could not match the captaincy skills of Mahendra Singh Dhoni, while for Mumbai Rohit Sharma was a gigantic failure. Absence of Deepak Chahar crippled the CSK bowling, while the lack of form from Ishan Kishan completely destroyed the Mumbai batting capability.

Mumbai's team is not stable. The team may have talented players, but they are not experienced enough. This is why their performance is not going well. At the same time, their main player Rohit Sharma is not in form. If he could have played better, Mumbai could have won several more matches. Even though the target was only 159 in yesterday's match, Mumbai face a lot of problems to win this match. Tilak and Suryakumar Yadav's responsible batting helped Mumbai win, and Tim David's 20 off 9 balls was an essential inning.

Finally a relief for MI after 8 straight losses they saw a victory. Jos Buttler continuing his brilliant form, apart from Jos Buttler no one contributed. You already highlighted MI batting. Suryakumar Yadav rightly deserves to be man of the match for his 51 runs.

MI first mistake was that they heavily invested on a single player rather diversifying their investments on different players in the auction. The one they bought has been an utter failure and this mistake has costed them this IPL season. In my opinion CSK should have stick with Dhoni as the captain from the beginning. Replacing Ravindra jadeja now with him will not make any great impact.

CSK should stick with Jadeja, so that he can get the experience. IPL is already over for both MI and CSK.

I can't believe RCB lost again. While it started out strong in the beginning of the season, seems like the team has completely lost its grip over the recent matches. At least it is good to see Kohli score a 50. RCB needs to get a grip on its bowler and get them to play better.

Gujarat Titans continued to dominate in the ongoing (IPL) 2022 season. With this recent win, their place is at the top of the IPL points table and now have 16 points from nine matches.

So far Gujarat Titans doing great in the IPL. The team has 8 wins out of 9, 5 of them have come while chasing the target.

So, I do agree GT has emerged as the strongest team this season. Looking forward to some more power pack performance by the team in future matches.

Lucknow Super Giants vs Delhi Capitals

The Super Giant 196 was able to deliver a huge target. The decision to bat first after winning their toss was the right one. Lucknow lost 3 wickets and scored 195 runs. And the interesting thing is that Shardul Thakur got all three wickets. It is very difficult to win by batting for 196 runs, moreover, Lucknow's bowling lineup is quite experienced.
However, there are some Delhi T20 specialist batsmen. David Warner, Mitchel Marsh, Rishab Pant, Prithvi Shaw, Lalit Yadav are all great batsmen. So Delhi has the ability to win even after batting for 196 runs.
