India won because of excellent bowling. Sri Lanka needed 40 runs in the last 4 overs. They failed to collect it. One of the main reasons for Sri Lanka's defeat was their slow batting. Their collection was only 35 runs in the first 5 overs of the power play. The top order players batted like fools. However, the second match looks to be more competitive.

Yeah, India done excellent bowling, but they have not won just because of their bowing they won just because they were lucky in yesterday game otherwise Sri Lanka done good fight, and they lost because they lost few quick early wickets and have done good job in last few overs which helps them for having lost by just two runs as they were losing quick wickets I was expecting big margin win for India but at the end just poor selection of shots give them setback, and they were unable to score five runs from their last three balls even they achieve eight runs in first three balls which was turning point for them, but last three balls completely outclass them, and they lost this match.

In the beginning, Sri Lanka played aggressive batting due to which they are quite ahead in terms of runs. An innings of 52 runs from 31 balls by Kusal Mendis influenced the movement of the entire match. After falling his wicket Sri Lanka has moved downwards. Where their first wicket was 79 runs but the fall of two wickets the run rate reduce massively. Sri Lanka's current collection is 108 runs in 13 overs. We will have to wait a few more overs to see where the match turning.

It's seem Sri Lanka is going to easily crossing 180 today. In terms of batting performance, they played excellent today. I didn't see much lacking in their batting today. But it's true that the way they were playing in the beginning was a bit slow in the middle.  But over all I think this innings is going to be good for Sri Lanka. And finally I think today is going to be a good finish for Sri Lanka.  
I think if Sri Lanka can do little good  performance in bowling sector then today's match will go in their favour.  I am going to take Sri Lanka for my betting today.

India already lost 4 wickets 36 runs this is some poor batting from India.  The match is already on Sirlankan side and its their win for sure unless Suryakumar Yadav do some magic on crease with his fierce batting.

India opening batter didn't support his team through batting while chasing, they are completely failed. but hats off to the only two performer Axar who play brilliantly by smashing half dozen six and also the SuryaKumar who help India to fight back but unfortunately they didn't win, while the SiriLankan batter are on fire today especially the SiriLankan captain who performed today and in  previous match too they smash every signal indian bowler.

The same can be understood by looking at the graph of run rate.

Sri lanka played a great game today which was really unbelievable and India though a very good cricket team but they are under a lot of pressure now Indian have only 8 overs left and they have to score 123 runs in these 8 overs.  For which they need to score an average of 16 runs per over.  If not, they will have to lose to Sri Lanka today . India are trying hard to collect more runs but how successful their efforts will be is yet to be predicted very well and with no guarantee.

But India was doing well towards the end. After the fall of Suryakumar Yadav's wicket, India could not go further. Although there was some expectation of winning the match but it didn't happen. Axar Patel got out at a time when the team was in a big crisis. The turning point of the match was when 26 runs were needed from 9 balls. Shivam Mavi played a few more balls according to the team's position that is why the match face difficult equation and finally India lost the match.

India didn't play that much badly as I thought after seeing the first part of this match, but congratulations to Sri Lanka managed to come back in the series with a great performance today. But I think the performance that India gave towards the last I think if they had given their opening batsmen or top order batsmen then I think they would have had a chance to win.  And if I continue like today then India will lose the next match too so now India should think about batting or management.

Oh, boy Lankans belted badly Indian bowlers tonight, except for the middle part. Kusal Mendis, Charith Asalanka and skipper Dasun Shanaka were brutal and too good for Indians.

Unexpectedly this series matches are close ones and giving tense entertainment due to close finishes between them. The first match was teaser where India won by only 2 runs and in this high scoring match, India lost the match but still scored 190 runs in the match. I though India will be able to dominate the series but this is not to be.
Srilankan team means business here and we will have a final decisive battle between them at Rajkot on Saturday.

Again the opening pair fail to give a good start and as usual the middle order was in shambles. The debutant Rahul tripathi was good on the fields, took some good catches but was shaky with his bat. I haven't seen any batter trying to play the hook shot but misses it and get hit on his helmet which goes for a four lol. Shivam Mavi did bowl well but contributed through his bat. If Axar and SKY had not formed that partnership then India would have collapsed within 150 runs. Considering 200+ is a good score score in T20 it was not that easy for India to chase that target.

In my opinion Srilanka would win as India's batting is in a terrible state. If India is able to chase then it would be a miracle.

Umran was good until his last over, but then he conceded 20 runs by bowling in a wayward manner. Mavi was extremely expensive. All three went for more than 12 runs per over yesterday, and that too against a weak team like Sri Lanka. India's idea of playing inexperienced bowlers isn't working that well. And all this happened at home, and not at overseas tracks.

If India's openers could have played their normal game in last match, there was a chance of winning the match even if the middle order players did not play. When the openers and middle order are completely destroyed, it becomes difficult to win big scoring matches. The way India almost turned the match with some lower order batsman but finally they lost the match due to lack of good wickets. I have say certainly that Sri Lanka has turned around in recent times. They lost the first match by 2 runs but they scored over 180. They also scored 206 runs in the last match. This kind of performance against India is certainly not common. I also consider, Sri Lanka is back again.

Shardul is an allrounder and he has rescued his team with his batting a number of times under pressure. What I don't like about Umran is the fact that he tries too many things and tries to intimidate the batsmen. This tactic may work against weaker teams. But when he bowls against England, Pakistan or Australia, where the batsmen are more used to express pace, he may get the stick. I have a feeling that his pace maybe more useful in test matches, especially under helpful conditions. T20 may not suit him that well.

He is still very new to international cricket. With experience he would know what to bowl and what kind of attitude is required. This why I want him to play more. He is an asset for India as he is the only fast bowler India has for now. Bhumrah may not continue for after a couple of years and India needs a main bowler which he can become with experience.

Big Bash League 31st Match started Sydney Sixers won the toss and decided to bowl. Melbourne Stars scored 67 runs in 8.3 overs. And now Melbourne Stars have lost 1 wicket. Sydney Sixers team player zharulhaq Naveed he now bowls 17 in 2 overs.  Gave runs. And got 1 wicket. If Sydney Sixers team can bowl well then maybe 150 runs in this match. And if 150 runs in this match then we can enjoy a very nice game between two teams.

India although lost yesterday but they chased the target quiet gracefully as they already lost 5 wickets in early overs still they chased upto 190 runs . Sirlanka gave a very good target and that's why they won the match.
Balling side of Sirlanka performed excellently too.
A good and interesting match both teams played good overall.
