Does not look so as India have managed to restrict the Indian total to 176 runs. These runs are not less but at the same time it is not such a score which is not chaseable. Not to mention at India conceded 27 runs in the last over by Arshdeep. This could be the turning point of this match.

I think Indian team were on top for the entire first innings but the last over changed the momentum completely. How strange is that a six on a No Ball, changes the complexion of the match completely. India will need to play well as the run rate required is just under 9 runs per over.

Indian bowlers were in good shape and not allowed Kiwis for having freely batting throughout their inning, but last over give some momentum to them, and they were able to have target like this even this is still achievable, but now we need some good effort from the Indian batting lineup as well because in this short format anything is possible so two or three good balls can change the match situation quickly but still I have feeling India will win this match without any trouble because right now they have disciplined batting line up and all are doing good job in last few weeks in both formats.

I missed this match, but watched the semi between England and Australia which was a low scoring affair. India will be the heavy favorite coming into the final and i am not expecting any upset.

Indian did not bat well today. Suryakumar Yadav  and Washington Sundar scored some good scores but it was never going to be enough. Indian team lost 3 wickets for 15 runs only and it was always going to be difficult to chase this big score and this was the worst start indian team could have think of.

This was an unexpected defeat for Indian men's team at the time when Indian women team are showing extended good performance at the women world cup and reached the finals.

Well... I have to disagree with you here. Bilateral tours represent a good opportunity for the BCCI to do some experimentation. They can rest some of their senior players and give opportunities for the younger ones. What is the point in including players such as Rohit and Shami for a series against New Zealand, that will be played on the flat tracks of India? They need to test the younger players before the ODI World Cup starts, and this is an ideal opportunity. And they need to do this, since the BCCI is no longer interested in scheduling India A and India U-23 tours.

Well, I guess I can agree with you on this one. But when it comes to big tournaments like the world cup India is certainly going to prefer experience over talent. I do not think that they might be very picky, especially in the bilateral series. But in the world cup, we are going to see the best 11 that India can get. And right now I think India is also trying out which is the best 11. Honestly, I also do not think that there is going to be too much difference between the squad that India is playing right now and the squad they are going to play in the world cup as well.
