Anyway, it’s a chalky card.  The most confident bet I’m prolly gonna make is Usman, Weili, Shev parlay at 2.50 and a less confident one in Crute, Brown parlay at 2.59.

My sketchy leans are Uriah Hall and Brendan Allen.

Hall is sketchy AF, but I always lean towards him, there something there but I just can't put my finger on it...

But, this is a wild card, I'd go only for Usman as a sure shot, besides that, it's anyone's guess. Since Roses last public remarks about Weili, I'm not sure she's all there mentally, and still can't figure out if Andrade has been figured out or not.

In MMA you rarely see these kind of match ups especially in the UFC the best always fights the best and so is the reason it has gained so much traction, the only few occasions when a huge upset happened in MMA is Fabricio Werdum winning against Fedor Emelianenko when he was dominating the world then there was the Matt Serra upset against GSP and in recent times Holly Holm win against Ronda Rousey was another huge underdog win.

I'm sure there's a lot of value in these MMAs, just need to understand them a bit better!

I have heard about Muay Thai allowing journeyman to fight professionals and that is the same with Boxing, rarely do we see equally contested fights in Boxing and most of the time the opponents are hand picked just to pad their win counts and rarely do we see upsets in Boxing. In MMA you will get these opportunities if you follow fighters outside the UFC and identify the fighters who have the potential to steam roll their early UFC opponents and usually you get good odds but once they show their skill set the odds eventually drops down until they fight elite opponents.

I'm sure there's a lot of value in these MMAs, just need to understand them a bit better!

My tip is to understand the fighters, their strength and weakness. Some have elite level grappling and if the opponent is a striker and has less wrestling skills then the match will end up in the mat and most probably the ground specialist wins unless it is a freak knockout.

another loss for Masvidal?  the result may still be the same. Masvidal is capable of defeating Usman if there will be a space between them that will give an advantage for him but then Usman knew this as well so taking him down away from the fence will be good for Usman. it can be difficult for both to find opportunities.

i will bet for the Zhang vs Nama fight. Namajunas said she'd rather die than red or something like that. i wanna see if she gets her wish.

So you're saying the value is to follow the upstarts from the beginning and then bet on them when the odds haven't reflected their actual skill eh? Sounds like a lot of time investment but yeah I can certainly see the appeal for this style in MMA. It's as I said, in my mind, not at all dissimilar to muay thai (which I used to follow when I could watch local leagues in Thailand and Malaysia).

Masvidal is capable of defeating Usman

Hope that he is really prepared for rematch. Masvidal havent fought for almost a year. His last opponent was, funny, Usman. I would say that he did not get any real new fight experience between his next and last fights, while Usman had a nice warm up in February 2021.

Looking on stats, Masvidal is most inconvenient opponent for Usman. In UFC career, Usman mostly fought wrestlers, grapplers, bjj opponent. Masvidal, as a strikes, caused more problems to Usmas than others. I also think that Masvidal has real chances to beat Usman. He has to. He wont get a third chance to have a champ fight

I'm not really buying the whole 'not a full camp' excuse, because the Usman overpowered Masvidal in their first fight that it wasn't even close (and when I say overpowered I mean that as a whole package, not strength per se). Masvidal was, before the first fight, ranked high enough for him to be considered a definite replacement, and especially in the COVID era, those fighters were ready on some level so they could step in (I can't produce any proof, but I know UFC used to inform replacements in advance so they could still maintain some level of preparedness, but don't quote me on that). Now, considering that, I can't imagine that Mike Brown (Masvidal coach) did not have a tactic for Usman nor can I believe that Masvidal can develop some skill that would be unsolvable by Usman with some additional time on his hands.

I reckon the UFC should set an office outside the stadium in Jacksonville and gather data on how many people who went inside were vaccinated, how many were not vaccinated and create a statistical analysis on how fast this virus spreads and how much people go through critical conditions. This data might be useful for all sports organizations.

I am also beginning to be skeptical. The pandemic might not be as threatening as the mainstream news media reported it.

with or without a fight they are supposed to be fit to fight, they consider fighting on UFC as their career. i'm also unsure but i think it's on their contract once they sign under the UFC.

with all the conspiracy theories out there, part of me will always have some doubts about the media, the government, and the pharma industries conspiring with each other that we all have to lock ourselves. on one hand, covid is affecting Dana's business saying covid is just media making it crazy will help his business.

If your not sure about the other fighter why go ditching coins over it, you should stick it in a fight that you sure will make income, but that is your decision and I respect that, and right now I am going all out on Robert Whittaker I think his performance with the 1 2 jab kick combo to Cannonier had me thinking that he might pull it out against Gastelum,

But we can not ignore the fight of Kelvin Gastelum against Ian Heinisch, that is one tremendous fight that Gastelum did, we can see his power and experience working out on the ring even though Heinisch caught Gastelum arm for a critical lock Gastelum manage to evade that, but my picks would be still Whittaker.

I think that it is very rare when you are completely sure of the outcome of a fight, it can be anything you like, and that is why it makes sense to share the risks. But I also agree that there is no need to bet on an event in which you doubt, in most cases it will be a loss.

I don't really consider it as a completely sure win but a higher percentage only, If information is already there then all you need to do is analyze it and see for your self who's to bet, I am just saying if you don't have any knowledge regarding the players or team.

I have not seen any fights of Chase Sherman and so is the reason i avoided that pick and i have not seen Jacob Malkoun and even though i was expecting  Abdul Razak Alhassan to continue with his momentum but Jacob Malkoun surprised me with his dominance in wrestling and he basically dominated the entire match with his ground skills and another loss was Loopy Godinez as i was expecting her to win but it went the decision.

Then don't bet if you don't know a certain fighter or team, and regarding ground skills, just like Khabib Nurmagomenodov fighters with exceptional Ground skill and has a wrestling and sometimes dominated fighters with no knowledge at all.

Just said how i follow young prospects, usually i used to watch other promotions especially their main events and you could identify their skills and once they sign with major promotions you know they are going to win and the odds would be good and now a days every MMA gym has their youtube channel or does podcast and they talk about young prospects so we will understand which fighters to look forward while placing a bet.

The recent examples are Islam Makhachev and Khamzat Chimaev.

I don't think Masvidal can't do anything against Usman who is heavy favorite as odds suggest, but I am hoping that Namajunas can do something spectacular against Zhang.

I did expect the same during the fight between Jorge Masvidal and Ben Askren and i was expecting a ground battle where Ben Askren is dominating the fight but Jorge Masvidal surprised everyone and who knows whether he will be having something similar game plan.

In America this will depend on the state. California has rules for masks on, in others similar to Texas they encourage masks on, but they do not require them.
