I was really surprised by the coldness of Nunes, it was a really very fast combat, here strength is not measured so much but talent, mastery of techniques, Jiu Jitsu is one of the martial arts that with little force achieves much more than give more blows and see blood
Nunes did what she knows best, she is probably the hardest puncher in the history of women's MMA as she is finishing all of her opponents and it is incredible how she fine tuned her weakness and became an unstoppable force.

the Adesanya thing has gained experience, it is not bad when you have a failure, I think that Adesanya will prepare much more. At some point we will see a rematch.
Jan Błachowicz is 38 years old and he might fight for another two years and i do not think we will see a rematch, the took the loss positively and he will come back strong and he wanted to test his skills in a higher weight division and that failed but he is still the Middle weight champion and he will rule the division for a long time.

In Jan's statements he said that it would have been better if the KO, but it was not, the 1st Round was pure knowledge of each other, they studied their movements, Adesanya chose to move away, that was his strategy, he must work more on how to defend himself better when on the floor, maybe more Jiu Jitsu techniques.
It is more of a weight advantage than learning techniques and Jan Błachowicz had a great plan on taking the fight to the ground in the championship rounds rather than trying when he was expecting in the first two rounds of the fight.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

It appears Dana has more problems after UFC 259 hehehe.

Jon Jones will not fight, Khabib has retired, Conor McGregor was defeated, no one cares to watch Amanda Nunes and Israel Adesanya has also lost some of his reputation as the next goat. Dana will put all hope on Francis Ngannou on March 27 hehehehe.

Yan was dominating Sterling imho.  I could see no way Sterling was winning the match if it went to the score cards.  The illegal knee was pure stupidity on Yan’s part and pure stupidity on Yan’s corner.  I mean he’s a pro.  These things shouldn’t happen in by far the most important bout of his career.
It looked to me that Sterling had the better start and won the first two rounds but. as it turns out, only one judge agrees with my assessment. The other two judges gave it one a piece. Yeah that was a stupid mistake regardless of the situation.

~
Sterling played his part? And what was he supposed to do? Muscle it out? Dust himself off and be a man? FFS this ain't BKFC or those backyard fights in Florida. It's all on Yan, Sterling did the only thing that was right to do. I don't care if he was hurt or not, it was an illegal knee to a downed opponent.
Why are you so worked up with that "played his part" when I didn't even criticize him for doing so.

It appears Dana has more problems after UFC 259 hehehe.
Do Dana really care about all those, he would have advised their prized fighters to fight safely and make some money before venturing to higher weight divisions.

Jon Jones will not fight, Khabib has retired, Conor McGregor was defeated, no one cares to watch Amanda Nunes and Israel Adesanya has also lost some of his reputation as the next goat. Dana will put all hope on Francis Ngannou on March 27 hehehehe.
Jon Jones will fight this year and Dana White is trying his best to bring back Khabib this September and Amanda Nunes completly dominates the division and she is not able to attract fans like Ronda Rousey and Khamzat Chimaev who was much hyped announced he will be retiring after complications from COVID and his only hope will be Francis Ngannou and if he wins he will hype him once again and will make money.

UFC Fight Night: Edwards vs. Muhammad

Date: March 14, 2021
Main Card: SUN, MAR 14 / 3:00 AM EET
Prelims: SUN, SUN, MAR 14 / 12:00 AM EET

Venue: UFC APEX, Las Vegas, Nevada, United States

Main card (ESPN)
Welterweight: Leon Edwards vs. Belal Muhammad
Light Heavyweight: Misha Cirkunov vs. Ryan Spann
Heavyweight: Ben Rothwell vs. Philipe Lins
Featherweight: Dan Ige vs. Gavin Tucker
Women’s Strawweight: Angela Hill vs. Ashley Yoder
Flyweight: Matheus Nicolau vs. Manel Kape
Middleweight: Eryk Anders vs. Darren Stewart

Preliminary card (ESPN+)
Women’s Flyweight: Cortney Casey vs. JJ Aldrich
Bantamweight: Rani Yahya vs. Ray Rodriguez
Featherweight: Charles Jourdain vs. Marcelo Rojo
Bantamweight: Jonathan Martinez vs. Davey Grant
Women’s Strawweight: Jinh Yu Frey vs. Gloria de Paula
Welterweight: Matthew Semelsberger vs. Jason Witt

source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UFC_Fight_Night:_Edwards_vs._Muhammad

From the whole card, I'm familiar only with Ben Rothwell, and he is probably now just an old experienced fighter.
Ricardo Ramos and Zubaira Tukhugov fight supposed to happen that night, but Tukhugov pulled out due to undisclosed reason (know his just because he is a close friend of Khabib Nurmagomedov).
Dont know any other fighter in the card. If this was anime, I would call this even as "filler".

True...  But don’t miss Dan Ige vs Gavin Tucker.  It should be fight of the night imho.  I like Tucker as an underdog but not this small of an underdog.  Ige is a beast and has fought tougher competition.  He won a close fight vs Barbosa who was coming down from LW.

Oh and...  Who’s he calling the paper champ again?  Lawl.

And the Oscar goes to...Sterling ! For successfully finishing football (soccer) school and gets a A+ in Simulation.
He has left this belt on the octagon, showing he is not happy with that kind of victory, and wearing it like he really deserves it. What a douchebag.

It was a big mistake from russian fighter who was winning the fight, but in the end bookies and Sterling profited most, with acting performance of the night  Cheesy
I expect to see this fight repeated again and Sterling losing for real this time.
Main event showed one more bad judging, however Blachowicz clearly won last round that kept his belt, but he showed many holes in his game and one of them being his cardio because he was bearly breathing after 4th round.
Time for Adesanya to come down on earth and lower his ego expectations.

Sorry, came out wrong, I was just pissed at all the people shitting on Sterling's decision not to continue, was not aimed at you. I don't think that many people would have jumped on him if Anthony Smith didn't have the same situation recently and decided to continue. I even saw that people were debating if the knee had such an impact, and that's just totally bizarre as he is the only one who could know what kind of impact it was. Anyway, it is what it is.

It was a big mistake from russian fighter who was winning the fight

Well, as per Khabib, it seems that someone in Yan's corner was calling for it, so maybe the blame is not all on him, so he maybe needs to rethink how he processes outside information in the octogon.

Well, as per Khabib, it seems that someone in Yan's corner was calling for it, so maybe the blame is not all on him, so he maybe needs to rethink how he processes outside information in the octogon.
Yan came out and said that in the locker room the referee said he will use his hands to convey the fighters whether a fighter is landing and Yan was watching closely at his hand signal before striking and his corner did not intervene but when you look at the corner footage his corner thought he won the fight and may be he is protecting his coaches and his corner defending his corner.

Strange that no one mentioned here, that Conor McGregor has sold his stakes in Proper Twelwe and became even more rich Smiley
Why would he sell his stakes if he is not having any financial struggles, he fought recently and he might have made a ton of money and yet he wanted to sell his stake and i thought his liquor company was successful .

This is just something you can give UFC a legit credit because the fighters out there fight as they want to without someone to told them to lose or like of that.
In sports you cannot fix matches, in boxing the promoters will find suitable fighters that are easier for their client to build a resume but you cannot fix a fight because you will be in a legal mess if any promoter try to do so.

As you can see, the fight did not look good on Dana White but it still went as it is. There's no corruption or whatsoever in the UFC, that's why it reached up to this point that the fight and the popularity still strong. The fighters in the ring are fighting for glory and everyone has their own chance to become the best of all fighters.
The difference between boxing and UFC is that boxers usually fight anyone of their choice but in the UFC they always fight the best and there is no way a fighter could skip someone for a long time and so is the reason it attracted fans as they are getting the dream fights they wanted while in boxing it takes years to get a dream match finalized.

the Adesanya thing has gained experience, it is not bad when you have a failure, I think that Adesanya will prepare much more.
If Adesanya stays in the LHW division and if he wins his next fights in this category there could be a rematch IMO but if Jon Jones comes back in the LHW and defeat Blachowicz, I don't think Blachowicz will stay in this division anymore, he will climb to HW or retires his career.

Petr Yan will be back stronger and it looks like he made a genuine mistake as he was winning the fight and it happened because of miscommunication either from his corner or from the referee and Aljamain Sterling has every right to stay down and win the belt, Anthony Smith should have done the same in the fight against Jon Jones and if he did that he would have been the champion and now look at his position in the division after that.

Main event showed one more bad judging, however Blachowicz clearly won last round that kept his belt, but he showed many holes in his game and one of them being his cardio because he was bearly breathing after 4th round.
Time for Adesanya to come down on earth and lower his ego expectations.
I was worried when Blachowicz was struggling with his breathing  Cheesy. All credits goes to Adesanya with all the faints Blachowicz was biting with everything and it will drain you out and somehow he was able to implement his game plan and took the fight to the ground, if not Adesanya would have won the fight if Blachowicz failed to take the fight to the ground.

Strange that no one mentioned here, that Conor McGregor has sold his stakes in Proper Twelwe and became even more rich Smiley

The skeptical me is thinking that it might not be good business as Conor makes it appear. Why sell your stakes on a good business? Business might not be good. I heard many negative reviews on his whiskey.

Also, strange that no one mentioned that Dan Hardy was fired from the UFC.

This is my first time learning about this. I can't find an article that gives the whole picture on what happened in Abu Dhabi but he must have been caught on camera saying some nasty things to an employee. It reflects on the image of the company he's employed at the time.

Dana probably had enough of Dan's antics.

Why would he sell his stakes if he is not having any financial struggles, he fought recently and he might have made a ton of money and yet he wanted to sell his stake and i thought his liquor company was successful .

He is not having financial difficulties, but that might be a part of a strategy. He has already built that brand and now moves on.
Also, an athlete can not be twice in his peak shape. Conor Already was on the top, and now it will be a downgrade of his career. There are more new, young and hungry fighters in the division, like Oliveira. Will he still be able to promote Proper 12 if he will, for example, continue loosing next fights? He is not bond with Proper 12 till his death. As a businessman, he could reinvest money into something other (in Bitcoin would be a better choice Cheesy)

I would agree with reviews. Propers 12 is overprices and does not have enough taste for that price. You can buy a good single malt whiskey, for the price of Proper 12. His aim was to compete with Jack Daniels in popularity. But with the price of ~25 EUR for Jack, and 38-40 EUR for Proper 12, it is impossible.

Yeah, I heard from some sources that the whiskey is not all that. I wouldn't go as far as to say that he is having financial problems, it's just that he might have seen that this product will go nowhere and that the offer he got is a really good deal. Sometimes it's smart to let things go earlier than later and this might be him just speculating and trying to get the most out of it. Time will tell if that was a smart choice, but this leaves room for other business vantures in the future.

Here’s more.  Lolol.

And yup..  he actually is a douche.  He’s been tweeting of wanting to defend his ‘title’ vs Cejudo instead of just stfu and be embarassed about how everything turned out for him.  Is this really Matt Serra and Ray Luongo’s pupil?  They should throw him out of the gym.  No honor.
