It looks like bookies are expecting a new champion this time. Ngannou is the slight favorite at 1.78 to Miocic's 2.04 on Betnomi . How do you see this fight? I think this is going to be another tactical fight for the champ. He'll avoid too many exchanges on the feet and control Ngannou on the fence or ground. I see another UD and still...
Francis Ngannou will always be a favorite because of his power and striking skills and i am expecting major improvements from him in the ground game and Stipe Miocic does need more appreciation from the fans because he is a future hall of fame and he could very well win the rematch as well.

Interesting odds for the former champ Woodley too (heavy underdog at 3.10). I'm not taking away anything from Luque but his consecutive losses made bookies think he's unlikely to win. I'll have to watch more of their videos before deciding to bet on this one.
Tyron_Woodley is on a three fight loosing streak and it is not a big surprise that everyone is considering him an underdog.

Next great fight to look forward to, and we all know that Miocic won their first fight and because of Francis Ngannou's formidable reach and power Stipe Miocic rely on his wrestling to nullify Ngannou, my thoughts here is if Francis Ngannou would still rely on his strike and strength alone the fight will be the same as their first, but if Ngannou would counter Miocic's takedown moves and give Ngannou a single punch that could rely on a TKO but that would be very not Ngannou to change his style but it will be a shot for him to take if he would want a different outcome.

Francis Ngannou will always be a favorite because of his power and striking skills

I think that is the only thing the has and that will make him lose. I think he relies a lot on that. Most of his fights are quick and usually dont last longer than first round. All the fight that are longer than 2 rounds he losses. While Miocic had a lot of 3-5 round fights.

My prediction is - Miocic will counter Ngannou power with wrestling, takedowns, clinch, make Ngannou lose stamina and win by decision. First 1-3 rounds will be interesting, rounds 4-5 will be exhausted Ngannou surviving till the end, while Miocic gaining points.

I wouldn't call Francis Ngannou a big favorite, odds are almost the same at bookmakers for the 2 fighters 1.8 for Ngannou vs 2.0 for Stipe Miocic(currently 1.81 vs 2.14 on Stake), that means the uncertainty of the outcome is high. There are 50/50 chances to win for each contender in reality in my opinion and no big favorite for this fight.

No debate about the wrestling ability of Stipe Miocic and that is how he clearly won the first fight and it was a dominant performance but if you watch the fight you can notice that Francis Ngannou was never in trouble for the fight to be stopped as he was taking the shots while the power of Francis Ngannou is a real danger and it is impossible to be careless for a micro second as one punch could knock anyone out.

The uncertainty is high considering the big stakes to be the baddest person and Francis Ngannou always looks terrifying  and i wish we will not hear any analogy by Dana White about the power of Francis Ngannou again  Cheesy.

I really hope all fighters will be healthy and geative on testing and we can expect to see some great fights this weekend.
Bookmakers are again undersetimating champion Stipe Miocic and they think Francis Ngannou is favorite but I will bet on Miocic here to win again.
Co-main event is also great with Tyron Woodley and Vicente Luque, and I think we even have one of Khabib cousins Abubakar Nurmagomedov against Jared Gooden.
All this is promising one great event but let's wait for confirmation of all fights.

@notblox1. Agreed. There are 2 fighters who have cancelled their fights already because of the coronavirus. They are Alexander Volkanovski and Shane Young who are in the same team. I speculate Jaime Mullarky who is another teammate also might cancel.

There are a lot of interesting fights and UFC and ESPN is promoting the fight really well and Stipe Miocic V Francis Ngannou is interesting as Stipe Miocic will continue to dominate and Francis Ngannou getting a rematch after 4 years, i remember the first fight when all the hype was on Francis Ngannou and if he won that fight he would have been a super star but he got humiliated and this will be his final chance for the title as long as  Stipe Miocic is the champion. I am watching as a fan as i like both their stories and let the best fighter wins.

Until fighters step in the octagon, it's anybody's guess if they will contract the virus or not, but that's the risk that has to be taken when you want to continue with your business as a fight promotion. But this virus is just another one on the list of things that cancel fights. I remember a couple of years ago, even without the virus, there were a couple of months where fights were canceled left and right due to, in no particular order, the injury bug, tiramisu, cables on the floor, and so on Smiley

if Ngannou didn't learn from the previous fight he will still be dominated by Moicic. they were both exhausted but Moicic can still take him down. Moicic still could win in this rematch. the last time i bet for the crowds' fav Holland though i lost.

too late to find someone who will agree to fill the ones who canceled their fights. Volkanovski is explosive.

^  For some reason I think Ortega has more of a chance than what the lines were showing us.  Ortega’s performance vs TKZ really showed that he was still evolving.  And I don’t really rate Volk that high tbh.  The first match vs Holloway was close and the second match was even closer and I had it for Holloway.  Watch it again.

Anyway...  Anybody got Stipe to win?

Anyway...  Anybody got Stipe to win?

Because Stipe is a versatile fighter that can throw wrestling in the fight and Ngannou just can't handle it and Miocic just controls the fight from start to finish, but you can not take out that Francis Ngannou had come prepared for this fight we can not take out that Ngannou has trained and changed his style for fighters like Stipe Miocic, you can check his fight with Curtis Blaydes and Cain Velasquez Francis Ngannou is faster and you can see that he is now countering all their takedown wrestling, don't get me wrong I would go with Stipe Miocic but we should still not ignore the improvement Francis Ngannou underwent as well.

Are you going to bet on Ngannou win ?

Btw, can someone explain why there is always so much hype around Sean O'Malley fight, when this guy is not even in bantamweight top15 ? Due to his hairstyle ? Cheesy Or 12-1 record ? Then I find it strange that with such a record he is not in top.

^  Nope.  It’s Miocic for me

And yup.  O’Malley and Almeida line should def be closer.

Anyway...  Anybody got Stipe to win?

^  It seems like Ngannou hasn’t really evolved from what I’ve seen after losing to Miocic and Lewis.  And he def didn’t show any improvements in the wrestling department, if there were any, cos all his bouts vs Blaydes, Velasquez, JDS and Roz all ended in R1 with him just blitzing thru all of them.

All fair, but Ngannou can improve so much until he hit/hits that time barrier in where he had to start doing those things 10 years ago for them to come naturally in a fight. He can handle some rudimentary TD defense, but for any more wrestling to occur, he would have to train that much more than just a few years sporadically. To your point, yes, Stipe is not the kind of wrestler that Cain or Blaydes are, but both of those KOs came in the first round of their fights where both of them did not implement wrestling strategy as Stipe has in his first fight with Ngannou. Not saying you are wrong, just saying that Francis has to do much more adaptation than Stipe to overcome, and I am not sure there was enough time for that.

^  It seems like Ngannou hasn’t really evolved from what I’ve seen after losing to Miocic and Lewis.  And he def didn’t show any improvements in the wrestling department, if there were any, cos all his bouts vs Blaydes, Velasquez, JDS and Roz all ended in R1 with him just blitzing thru all of them.

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/64378-francis-ngannou

Well I have seen something over his last 4 consecutive fight he may become faster in time of his fight with Miocic but Miocic did go in that same changes as well, if he can pull a stoppage on Stipe Miocic's Wrestling then he could win this apparently all he has is power by beating his opponent on the first round and apparently yes no improvement with his wrestling,

Well, there is no one wrong in giving his opinions, unless it is not fit to the topic, but apparently, I am just stating what I have seen with Ngannou with his fight with Cain and Blaydes but we can not take out the fact that Miocic is even faster now, Francis Ngannou would likely to finish the fight on the 1st round but would likely to blow up his tank if the fight continues into further rounds so if he is unable to finish the fight into the 1st round he will likely lose again.

Both of you have great speculation and apparently, I will not waiver in giving up on Stipe Miocic winning this.

I am comparing stats for Stipe Miocic and Francis Ngannou and there are some clear advantages for Miocic except maybe reach advantage for Ngannou.
Miocic have much better 52% striking accuracy comapred to Ngannou 37%
Miocic is landing much more strikes, have much better defence and even takedown stats is better or equal with Ngannou.

I'm really disappointed in Holland honestly. I get it, its part of his character, and hes gone on record in the past that he doesn't take fighting as serious as other fighters, but that fight was terrible. It wasn't the fact that he had no answer to the wrestling that his opponent brought, but the fact that he wasn't motivated to at least try. Multiple times, I saw against the cage not guarding, not doing anything. Well, except for running his mouth of course. Then the last few seconds of the fight, instead of going for the knockout, which he was very capable of doing on that night as previous rounds showed, he walked away from his opponent.

No matter how entertaining Holland might be when he runs his mouth, I don't think I could ever root for him again. I'm always going to want him to get beat, and truly if he doesn't redeem himself in some big way, and continues these antics I'm not sure I'd even want him in the UFC.

More promotional videos for UFC 260:

Vlog Series: Ep 1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ZhHF0_-C-4
Vlog Series: Ep 2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6Dcre0tvXQ

Interesting points from some of the videos I watched. It's about Ngannou evolution since their first bout and how Miocic grew his fight IQ. The challenger obviously worked on his grappling/wrestling/ground game for this match while the champ most likely worked on his conditioning and speed.

Ngannou is actually a scary dude when he knocked guys inside the cage, the saddest we've seen was with Overreem. the uppercut the made Overeem slam is something you will remember. it's the execution of his fight plan that will determine whether he really learned from the first fight.

Multiple times, I saw against the cage not guarding, not doing anything.

that's the most disappointing. it's as if he deliberately waste the fight. I'm not sure about rules but i think the behavior deserves a warning from the referee.
