^  It seems like Ngannou hasn’t really evolved from what I’ve seen after losing to Miocic and Lewis.  And he def didn’t show any improvements in the wrestling department, if there were any, cos all his bouts vs Blaydes, Velasquez, JDS and Roz all ended in R1 with him just blitzing thru all of them.

https://www.tapology.com/fightcenter/fighters/64378-francis-ngannou

Well I have seen something over his last 4 consecutive fight he may become faster in time of his fight with Miocic but Miocic did go in that same changes as well, if he can pull a stoppage on Stipe Miocic's Wrestling then he could win this apparently all he has is power by beating his opponent on the first round and apparently yes no improvement with his wrestling,

All fair, but Ngannou can improve so much until he hit/hits that time barrier in where he had to start doing those things 10 years ago for them to come naturally in a fight. He can handle some rudimentary TD defense, but for any more wrestling to occur, he would have to train that much more than just a few years sporadically. To your point, yes, Stipe is not the kind of wrestler that Cain or Blaydes are, but both of those KOs came in the first round of their fights where both of them did not implement wrestling strategy as Stipe has in his first fight with Ngannou. Not saying you are wrong, just saying that Francis has to do much more adaptation than Stipe to overcome, and I am not sure there was enough time for that.

Well, there is no one wrong in giving his opinions, unless it is not fit to the topic, but apparently, I am just stating what I have seen with Ngannou with his fight with Cain and Blaydes but we can not take out the fact that Miocic is even faster now, Francis Ngannou would likely to finish the fight on the 1st round but would likely to blow up his tank if the fight continues into further rounds so if he is unable to finish the fight into the 1st round he will likely lose again.

Both of you have great speculation and apparently, I will not waiver in giving up on Stipe Miocic winning this.

Great discussion Smiley I am also siding with Stipe, but as said multiple times, this division is a coin toss, so this could go either way. What I am really interested to see is how Ngannous gas tank holds up if the fight goes into the championship rounds. I guess it will all have to build down to his game plan and will he be headhunting from the start, will he abandon his gameplan at some point, because I think that the conditioning standpoint ids what he improved the most.

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

Lets get back to winning ways this next fight night shall we Tongue I've had some terrible weeks ever since the Adesanya night I feel. I know that Stipe is probably the overwhelming favorite from the fans point of view, but at least the odds are fairly stacked. In fact, I'm seeing it favour Ngannou right now, which I would be inclined to agree with. I think Ngannou has better prepared this time out, and I believe he will get the job done with a TKO. However, if Ngannou can't get that knockout blow I see Stipe taking this via decision. I can't see Stipe taking Ngannou out, and I can't see Ngannou's fitness holding up in the championship rounds to get him a decision win.

I was expecting more of a TD defense but look at how Ngannou work on his ground game (submission) under Jake's watch Grin I seriously doubt he'll be able to use that. It will be the usual ground and pound if he ever takes down or drops Miocic. Those front kicks though Shocked

Woodley looks more reserved. He probably lost some of that confidence from those consecutive losses.

the saddest we've seen was with Overreem. the uppercut the made Overeem slam is something you will remember.
Yeah I've seen that highlight a few times already in the lead up to this fight.

Again, there is only so much Ngannou can learn in such a short amount of time, especially when you take into consideration that he is still a work in progress in all disciplines, but especially anything related to grappling (wrestling and ground game). What he has learned just might be enough this time, especially if he gets an early blitz KO, or, if they worked on his fight IQ and developed a solid gameplan that he will follow no matter what happens.

Press conference for the event will be live in a couple of hours or so.  Let’s see what version of Ngannou shows up...  The humble kid from the Cameroon sand mines or this cringey guy the UFC built him up to be.  Lol.  Pretty sure you guys already know what happened to the first bout.  Grin

I am not a die hard UFC but this fight gets me hyped, especially after their first fight.  Smiley
Going into their first fight back then i thought that miocic would have no chance because ngannou knocked the hell out of his opponents in his 10 fights before he faced miocic.
But then during their first fight everyone could see what a great fighter miocic is and how he dominated ngannou. Miocic needs to be careful though.. 1 punch from ngannou and he is out cold.

The UFC had a wet dream of thinking that they had Francis Ngannou as their champion during the first encounter with Stipe Miocic and he completely shut him altogether and from that point on wards the UFC is grooming him in their performance institute and if he fails this time they might understand their mistakes and start promoting Stipe Miocic so that he could be their super star.

But then during their first fight everyone could see what a great fighter miocic is and how he dominated ngannou. Miocic needs to be careful though.. 1 punch from ngannou and he is out cold.
In the pre fight interview Stipe Miocic made it clear that it is going to be a methodical chess game, The odds makers are putting Stipe Miocic as the underdog which is crazy and with that i want to pick him as he is the best fighter for a reason and my only doubt is whether age is catching up as he is 38 years old.

I'm only really going with Ngannou, because I like his personal story, and like him as a fighter. To be honest, my betting head probably tells me Stipe, especially because of the first fight between them. However, I'm hoping Ngannou has adapted, and learned from that first fight. At the end of the day, I'm expecting it to be a good fight, I think it'll last some rounds, as Stipe is way too smart to get caught early, but I can't see Ngannou winning this fight if it goes into the championship rounds. Hes a big man, carrying a lot of muscle weight which will make him tire in those later rounds.

My prediction would be; If Ngannou is going to win this fight it has to be inside 3 rounds, otherwise Stipe gets the win. Stipe has the advantage being the slicker, more endurance focused fighter. He could probably effectively avoid most of the danger early on, and tire Ngannou out with his footwork.

I'll probably be going with Ngannou on the night though by TKO.

Vlog Series: Ep 4 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wi_Lpt86v34

It looks like we're going to see a lot of heavy body shots from Stipe. This could be Woddley's last fight in the UFC because Luque's looking sharp.

Has anyone placed bet on winning method yet?

^ odds from Betnomi

Fight to go the distance has odds at 4.

I already had a few bucks for Stipe by decision. I might add by submission later on Grin Francis by KO/TKO is also a good hedge.

Body shots could do wonders to depleting Ngannous gas tank, but with him, if that is not implemented really well then Stipe could be risking getting his head blown off by a Ngannou counter punch. I know I am simplifying this, but sometimes, the way Stipe gets out of the closest range is with his hand down and that cost him his belt when fighting DC in their first fight.

If Woodley does not show that he really wants to be in that octogon (win or loose) it should be his last fight.

Hey guys, join the fun at Sportsbet’s UFC Multi Master Challenge.  It’s easy, just post your picks and you could win around a hundred bucks in free bets.

Sportsbet.io - "UFC 260 Multi Master Challenge"
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5326357.0

Anyway whether you’re on the Miocic side or the Ngannou side, both will end up with you thinking you should’ve picked the other guy.  If you picked Miocic and lost, you knew if he got caught, it’s def a KO.  And if you picked Ngannou and lost, you already knew Miocic could beat him.  Cheesy

If the fight goes the distance Stipe Miocic will win and the odds looks attractive and i cannot see Francis Ngannou winning if the fight goes to the distance because his gas tank will be empty by the third round and i expect a cautious approach by Francis Ngannou because he is aware of the take down threat and how it will empty his gas tank defending them.

Fight to go the distance has odds at 4.
I already had a few bucks for Stipe by decision. I might add by submission later on Grin Francis by KO/TKO is also a good hedge.
I am not expecting anyone to submit Francis Ngannou as he is a large individual and muscular build and i do not remember Stipe Miocic submitting anyone.

There is new Sportsbet competition for UFC 260 Miocic vs Ngannou and you can get some free bets if you predict outcomes correctly with total numbe of strikes for main event:

Miocic came in lean and ligher again just like his last match vs Cormier.  I wonder what kind of game plan he and his team have in mind.  Pretty sure wrestling is gonna be harder being at 234 lbs vs a guy who’s 263 lbs.  And I fear Ngannou could rag doll Miocic around the cage.  Rofl.  Ngannou via sub is at 25 at Stake.

Stipe will start with grappling/wrestling (more clinching) early to avoid the early bombs from Francis. Round 3 is where he'll start pounding the body. That's how I envision what's going to happen in the fight.

If Woodley does not show that he really wants to be in that octogon (win or loose) it should be his last fight.
Yeah. His best chance I think is by starting early with those heavy right hands. He'll most likely lose if he can't finish in three rounds.

Francis official weight (263) is 29 pounds heavier than Stipe's 234. Not that I am surprise because he really looks bigger but that could be a big factor in the fight.

^  I fear Ngannou has better TD defense this time around which could discourage Miocic from attempting them again and again.  And here’s the thing, what if Ngannou wrestles Miocic?  Lol.

I was honestly more confident in taking Miocic when they first fought than this one.

Sean O’Malley (136) vs. Thomas Almeida (136)
Gillian Robertson (125.5) vs. Miranda Maverick (126)

Missed weight

And here’s the weigh in show if you guys are here just for the entertainment.

Actually, Stipe weight in at 246lbs (111kg) in their first fight (with Francis being at the same weight), which makes a 12lbs or a 5kg difference between his weight in these two fights, and I can tell you, from experience training in both wrestling and grappling that it doesn't mean jack shit. What will make more difference is how Francis implements his wrestling and his weight on Stipe.

Even i am also expecting a much better take down defense from Francis Ngannou as he was waiting for this rematch for over 3 years and he will be looking for kicks when he tries to shoot for a take down. If Francis Ngannou wins it will be a quick fight and the more the fight goes Stipe Miocic will cement his legacy as the greatest Heavyweight.

My picks for this card are Michal Oleksiejczuk, Miranda Maverick, Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Vicente Luque.

Francis Ngannou might have drilled take down defense in practice sessions many times but he never had the opportunity to test that in a real fight and we have no idea nor Francis Ngannou will be having any idea how he would perform if the fight goes to the second or third round because he is smoking fighters within a round.

My picks for this card are Michal Oleksiejczuk, Miranda Maverick, Abubakar Nurmagomedov and Vicente Luque.
Tyron Woodley should win this fight if not he will be released as he is on a loosing streak and i might bet on Abubakar Nurmagomedov as he is from the same camp of Khabib Nurmagomedov.
