In upcoming days of cricket I don't think this record could be broken.

The interesting thing is that till now no one has played the second maximum number of matches in Indian cricket by performing as well as Anil Kumble. In my opinion, he is correct and none of the veterans are questioning this guy's ability to bat on any format. His selection is purely based on favoritism and not performance. What do you guys think?

Likey but there is another scenario for Ind vs SL final if...

- India wins 4-0 against Aus
- SL wins 1-0 or 2-0 against Kiwis
- Windies wins against SA

All three scenarios seem unlikely. In the first case, I am expecting India to win(2-1) while the remaining match will end as a draw. In the second case, I am expecting Sri Lanka and Kiwis to win one match each.

In the third case, I am expecting South Africa to win against Windies. These are my random predictions basically.

Yeah, i like to believe the same as you and teosanru but cricket is a funny game so i am open to everything.

It would be very disappointing if we get to see any draw in this series. Both teams are good and i think there won't be dud pitches in the next matches. Having said that if a draw comes on the difficult pitch then i am up for it because it requires an A game from both teams, which would be a treat to watch.

I thought captaincy is difficult only under losing conditions after this statement of Rohit I realise how difficult it is in winning conditions as well. You have to make sure you don't lose your shit while you are been presussred by your teammates and also have to make sure all the team mates are happy with your decisions because eventually their performance is going to be dependent on that.

Zimbabwe cricket does well in other two formats but they have quite weakness in test cricket. But despite being weak, their one good point is that they have managed to draw a match in this series. They could have done better if their prominent player participated in this Test cricket. Their score was not big in the last Test match of the series so their chances of losing this match would be high.

KL Rahul should be kicked out of the test and ODI squads, but deserves more chances in the T-20 squad primarily because he is a phenomenal T-20 player. His keeping skills are nothing amazing either.

He is one of the very, very few good looking Indian players which helped him a lot despite his inconsistent performances.

I did not think that Zimbabwe would perform as badly in the second match as in the first match. The batsmen needed to bat more responsibly in this match. Their performance today was worse than the first match. They lost all the wickets to collect only 115 runs. Innocent Kaia scored the highest 38 runs for the team. West Indies scored 133 runs and lost 4 wickets. I guess West Indies will collect atleast 250. And it doesn't look like Zimbabwe will be able to score 200 runs in the second innings. The condition of their batsmen is very weak now.

I don't completely agree with him. I know in Test he has been given a lot of chances but that was more because India was trying to find a suitable replacement for KL Rahul and it was quite late till Rishab Pant fit that spot in Tests. Coming to other formats in ODIs he has a good average of 44. Which is actually a good average considering he even bats at number 5 and opens some times. But yes lately his performance has not been as consistent as one would expect from a vice captain or an experienced players but generally he has played one or two match winning innings. I don't favour KL Rahul's selection but I see what current selectors might want from him and I remember once Rohit Sharma too was given these many chances after which he got his re incarnation and trust me Shubhman Gill is the next person who is going to get this favouritism.

Zimbabwe isn't performing good. By the end of day 1 West Indies leads by 18 runs and 6 wickets left. Match gonna end by the third day. Zimbabwe should've made atleast 250 runs. I don't find anything bad with the batting line-up. With the players they can easily reach 250+ runs. Upto Tsiga it have batting order and if they weren't able to perform as test match, atleast they could've gone for some big shots. An easier series win for West Indies.

I do not understand why other veterans are afraid to speak the truth. Financially everyone is very stable considering the amount of money they get paid as pension after retirement. The board won't dare to stop their pension if they speak against those who are always in the mode of licking the ass or constantly support those players who are not performing. India does not have a talent crunch in cricket. Why not give opportunities to those players.

In my opinion the first step that BCCI needs to take is to remove him from vice captaincy and give that responsibility to someone deserving. If he is still not able to perform after that then he should be dropped.

The second test match will be played on 17th in Delhi. Indian has not lost any test match in Delhi for the last 36 years. I am hoping they continue to win this time too.

KL is an opener in Tests so a comparison with Pant is not right, ODI is a different thing and atm all anger about his test form. Gill is in hot form and he's warming the bench. Mayank is another competitor for opening in the subcontinent. The likes of Mayank were also dropped after a couple of failures and he went back to Ranji and scored tons of runs recently, his runs came a bit late tho.

Another good talent Sarfaraz is nowhere around the Indian squad despite performing regularly, although he's middle-order batter.

Regarding his Vice Captaincy, IMO he shouldn't be near any captaincy role. KL has already played close to 50 tests and still averaging in mid-30s. IDK how many chances he needs, if management wants to keep him close to the squad then keep him during away tours. In the subcontinent, there are countless openers in Ranji who can outbat him even on their worst day.

After his WC performance, he should be kicked from the T-20 squad. In ODI he's good but only if he's in the middle order with the gloves.

He's a very beautiful stroke player when he's on a song but tbh he always looks so depressing, scared and under pressure and it's actually hurting the team.

He's vice captain but i have never seen him discussing anything with the senior players. In a recent match Puji, Virat, Rohit and the spinners were in deep discussion and this BKL guy was sipping the coffee on the sideline.

The batting failure of some of the players of the Zimbabwe team basically hindered their big scoring. Tanunurwa Makoni he returned 0 runs from 24 balls. Milton Shumba returns 3 runs from 8 balls. Tafadzwa Tsiga he returned 0 runs from 11 balls. W Masakadza collected 1 run, Brandon Mavuta 1 run, Nyauchi 1 run, Tanaka Chivanga 6 runs. Where 7 players fail in the match so the team naturally will be fallen in disaster.
