England look like they are screwed once again since 337 is a bigger target when compared to the previous 317. India will probably win the ODI series too at this rate.

Rahul was awesome along with Pant. Hardik's blitz towards the end was satisfying as expected. England are clearly missing Archer while Iyer's replacement(Pant) was the right call.

I am not too confident to place a bet on England, even in the last match they got a good start and then ended up loosing and this time they have Liam Livingstone, Dawid Malan and Moeen Ali are in the team which can make a difference but still i will pass on placing a bet as i lost a few bets placing on England to win in the series and 336 is always a competitive one if they start loosing wickets.

We have to appriciate stokes for taking the match away from India but he was unlucky to miss the century by one run who got out for Bhuvi short ball.

I agree. They made a big total like 337 look easy primarily thanks to Stokes and Bairstow. I never liked Krunal's bowling though he bats well now and then and Kuldeep hasn't improved at all.

I don't know what is the reason why Hardik is not bowling in the ODI matches which could become a game changer if he do it.

This is what confused me as well. Absolutely weird. Kohli's captaincy was pretty bad today since he continued depending on the spinners instead of randomising the bowlers.

I am confused what to make of things, they shuffled the batting line up and Ben Stokes moving up the order made the changes as he scored runs after a long time and Jonny Bairstow is in prime form and now the series is active but India is still dangerous as they can always turn around the series in the end.

England's magnificent batting effort put Indian bowlers in shadow and to level the ODI series. It would have been better if India had picked up more wickets. Both teams showed their batting powers. The thing that matters was, India's weak spin attack. India should come up with a better bowling combination for the decider.

The changes isn't big, already it is well known. Jason Roy and Bairstow are the best openers of the year in ODI. Now once again they've proved it with the tremendous start. If the opening isn't good, further the players experience high pressure as the target is above 300. Here the start of the innings gave the players more confidence and reach the target easily.

Kuldeep seems to losing his marbles and his confidence going down the drain, his place is not fixed in the any playing XI and he keep traveling with the squad. It would be good if he spend some time in domestic arena so that he can gets some match practice and wickets.

The carnage we witnessed today, it seemed like Indians were 50-70 runs short lol

Kuldeep seems to losing his marbles and his confidence going down the drain, his place is not fixed in the any playing XI and he keep traveling with the squad. It would be good if he spend some time in domestic arena so that he can gets some match practice and wickets.

Kuldeep Yadav is in and out of the team and even when he is in the squad he will not get all the matches and he is lacking match practice, he should be allowed to play domestic season to sharp his bowling but today the England batsman were brutal to every bowler as they were clearing the boundary with ease and unless you have two good bowlers there it is a difficult task to defend any score especially with a batting lineup like England.

I Think India's problem is a lot of rotation these days. If a player has to stay at the bench after a good series he would often lose his game and that momentum he had earlier this is what is happening with Indian Team now.

I never liked Krunal too. If you just want a bowling All-Rounder on your side Washington Sundar is a much better option to have. Moreover, with lots of pace-bowling all-rounder, these days even going with two full-time spinners is an option. Krunal Pandya played his second game and give him some time, today all the bowlers went for runs and you cannot blame him because of one game, he batted well in his debut match and i have seen him striking the ball well in IPL, so you have to give him the opportunity to show his skills. Even i have no idea why Ashwin is not in the shorter format as he is one of the best spinners India had and yet he is not included in the team.

You learn from your mistakes kohli and this mistake might result in India losing the series. Still it was good game and was really a close one. Kohli's decision to introduce two spinner was to slow the run rate as English batsmen are not good with the spinners but it backfired. I hope he rethinks his strategy in the next match.

Apart from that another concern is our openers are not taking game further in 1st power play when fielding restrictions are in place, they keep following conservative approach of -Dig in- and in doing so they are getting out. On the other hand England openers are providing excellent start for their team.

For the 3rd ODI India must opt Chahal for sure ahead of Kuldeep and they really need a 6th bowler. Playing with 5 bowlers is not suited to India.

They already have the sixth bowler but not sure why they did not give him the ball for last 2 matches. Yes, I am just talking about Hardik Pandya who bowled all allocated 4 overs in T20 matches against England but never given a chance in ODIs; really surprising, might be any fitness reason. That Pune pitch must a typical Indian soil pitch where toss decides the match winner; do not ask me about the first ODI of this series where England threw away their wickets after Roy and Bairstow stand.

England were at 287/4 and a couple of additional wickets would have given advantage for India.

I don't think so. England were 287/4 at 36.1 overs which means even another 2 or 3 wickets may not produce any change in the final result by considering the batting depth of them until Reece Topley and for the scenarios of requiring another 50 runs from 14 overs.

They had the 6th bowler in Hardik Pandya, but he couldn't bowl due to injury. And that was the reason why the Indian captain was overdependent on Krunal Pandya and Kuldeep Yadav, despite they being expensive. I don't know whether Chahal is the right choice here. He is a wicket taking bowler, but his economy rate is not good. Given the fact that the England batsmen are in good form, I won't be surprised if he goes for 7-8 runs per over.
