Monetary losses incurred by Pakistan maybe reimbursed by the ACC. But what about the lost chances for Nepal? Back in 2006, they qualified for the Asia Cup for the first time. But India refused to participate in the tournament and therefore it was cancelled. ACC compensated the host nation, but Nepal never got another chance to participate in the Asia Cup. And now after 17 years, they have once again qualified for the Asia Cup. Once again BCCI is forcing the cancellation of the tournament. It may not matter much for Pakistan, but it is another setback for Nepal.

No doubt Nepal has made huge progress in cricket in recent years. They rightly deserve a chance to play in Asia Cup against teams like Pakistan and India. This will boost there confidence which will help them in improving there performance. I remember once you said you are from Nepal but now you saying that you are an Indian? People living in India must raise there voice and should ask Modi Ji to move forward.

These two teams are playing second ODI match. First ODI match was played but only Srilankan women team played its turn and rain interfered. The Second ODI was scheduled on 2 May but again rain started and they stopped the match. And today they scheduled second ODI but here again rain started but they are playing. Srilankan team played only 30 overs and made only 186 runs and gave only 5 wickets. And now the Bangladesh women team is playing and they played 22 overs and made 97 runs and 4 women got out. Srilankan team is looking strong in this match. But can't predict at this time. Let see.

The performance of Bangladesh women was not good at all in this match. They did not do well on the bowling side. And while batting only Nigar Sultana was the one who did something. Other than her no one actually was able to do anything. Bangladesh is already 8 wickets down. They need 61 from 4 balls which is certainly impossible to get. Sri Lanka performed really well overall in this match.

I thought that you were claiming that the massive crowd was there just because Nepal was playing on home ground. In that case I pointed out the thousands who supported the Nepal team in a match that was held at Dubai. Anyway, good to hear that we are having same opinion on this topic. I have constantly opposed the eligibility criteria from the ICC, which allows a national team to be comprised 100% of foreigners. I don't understand how they can call such a team as "national" team. Tomorrow I can ask 11 club players from my city to travel to Antarctica on tourist visa and then form the Antarctica national team.

Congratulations to Nepal for winning the Men's Premier Cup final against UAE. Its first time we are seeing that there is so much craze of cricket in Nepal and good thing is Nepal national team is also rising up in performance, they also recently finished 3rd in ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2 2019-2023. I just feel that very soon Nepal will play there first ODI or T20 World Cup.

Property has improved a lot in Nepalese cricket. The people of their country are playing the biggest role behind their progress. There are many cricket lovers in Nepal who are constantly supporting the Nepalese team. Nepalese cricket fans and Nepalese cricketers have a big dream to play the World Cup. The way they are performing, it won't be too difficult for them to qualify for the World Cup. The way they have improved their cricket even without being directly affiliated with the ICC is really admirable. If you have watched the fielding of Nepali players then you will surely appreciate their game. All in all, Nepal is having a great time of cricket.

The last position final match of Asia Cup was between United Arab Emirates Cricket Team vs Nepal Cricket Team. I heard PCB Chairmen Najam Sethi on local news channel saying that cancellation of Asia Cup will cost Pakistan 3 Million US dollars and its a big amount for PCB under given financial crisis. But PCB is willing to bear this loss as its now matter of self respect. I don't understand that if BCCI has issue playing with Pakistan then why they always willing to welcome Pakistan in there country but not willing to come to Pakistan.

PCB cannot make any decisions in regards to cancellation of Asia Cup. The decision can only be taken by ACC. The only option left for PCB is to decide not to participate in the tournament. I am sure they won't opt out but if they do then the repercussions would be big. Do remember they are going to host Champions trophy next year. Looking at the present situation it would be wise for PCB to only shift Indian teams games to UAE. Otherwise they would have to agree in shifting the entire tournament to UAE.

This is somewhat like pushing PCB to the edge of the mountain. BCCI & ACC are basically the same thing as of now. What BCCI wants automatically ACC will deliver as both are being headed by the same person. What I am suprised it that PCB took the bait and got trapped completely.

BTW, if Asia cup gets cancelled then what we will do from July to September as I am not someone who watches shit games.

Asia cup is around the corner and still there is no final decision regarding course of game and matches , whatever najam sethi is saying is totally his own matter and it has nothing to do with what will happen with Asia cup .
Hopefully ACC comes up with some final verdict about Asia cup and breaks the surprise or what's going to happen now .

The first ODI match between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka at the Colombo ground was abandoned due to rain but the second match was also not tossed due to rain and hence the match was replayed. But due to rain, the match was 30 overs. But Sri Lanka batted first and set a target of 187 runs for Bangladesh which could have been won if they batted in T20 style but it was impossible for Bangladesh to bat on a target of 187 runs in T20 style. Bangladesh fell 1-0 in the three-match ODI series with a 58-run defeat to date. Bangladesh were all-out with one ball in hand and scored 128 runs.

Despite the rain interruption, SL-W managed to gets a 1-0 lead with their all-round performance. I must say Sri Lankan women's team put up a brilliant performance against Bangladesh women with both bat and ball. So far, Bangladesh women's tour of Sri Lanka has not been very fruitful. However, it was a wise decision by the authorities to revise the match schedule due to unfavorable weather conditions. The last match scheduled for May 7th, and i'm expecting to witness an intense battle and a dominant display from the Bangladesh women's team. Pakistan doesn't have any good allrounders now. And all of their available options are comprised of spin-bowling allrounders. Two decades back, they had some very good pace bowling allrounders, such as Abdul Razzaq and Azhar Mahmood. But nowadays they don't have any. Naseem Shah and Shaheen Shah can bat a bit, but they can't be considered as allrounders. The Pakistani domestic cricket system is not producing such players, as the tracks are very supportive for the batsmen and doesn't support seam and swing bowling.

At this point, Matt Henry and Adam Milne are spearheading their bowling attack, supported by youngsters such as Henry Shipley. Daryl Mitchell has also performed well so far in this series. Pakistan has already won the series 3-0. New Zealand will be looking for decent performances in the remaining two matches.

Absence of main players won't be a problem for teams such as England and Australia. But then, New Zealand is a small country with a population of less than 5 million. They don't have that much depth in player pool and they are heavily dependent on immigrant players from South Africa and South Asian nations. Replacement pacers such as Blair Tickner and Henry Shipley doesn't have the quality of regular players like Southee and Boult. And this has been one of the reasons why New Zealand has struggled in this series so far.

Asia Cup is one of the most headache event in cricketing calendar due to conflict between India and Pakistan many postponed with cancellations, but sadly we have no strong ACC which able to settle this all with fair deal as right now we have Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and UAE three venues for playing cricket here in Asia they need to work on never Pakistan or India host this event and just play in these three places with if any country not agreed with this all he must be opted out from this event or just go ahead with all five venues and try to convey their governments for the permission as well because now it's time to bring this as simple sports instead of having issue of ego which is never been ideal and just having problems and speeches about this all are useless.
