..........Most folks will have an electricity rate higher than $0.10/kWh so their net monthly profits will be lower, their recovery time will be longer, and the "sweet spot" will be an even more aggressive underclock. I see that DiCE1904 has provided a handy table of SP20 values. Your example is great and almost how I calculate also. EXCEPT, you are using different wattage amounts when I use the same wattage and just extrapolate the hashing and asset cost difference. When calculating based on lower total watts used, I can definitely see the underclocking stance. I make the assumption that miners would want to use as much of their circuit for hashing as possible. So if I have 4,000 watts, what does the asset cost difference between under/over clocking and recoup from the additional hashrate. Although it's all just mental masturbation as it's doubtful right now these will ever ROI in btc terms. Fun hobby that keeps me off the streets

push gathered firmware suggestions in a list and edit that list and extend
current firmware: 2.6.7 TEST
- adding start fan speed for auto-mode - tail option for showing last x rows of log files. - using help screen for sort of change log in the firmware - may be watchdog checking network state. had hung system after network outage, not reachable due to DHCP. can be probably worked around by fixed IP. - scheduling certains mining speeds(voltages) <- will try to implement - individual voltage limits as right now for the back chips <- will consider / note: can be done quite well with max. PSU watts at least per loop - Timezone "bug"? first page graphs are always UTC? <- will consider - enable API in own subnet/net by web interface <- common! change /etc/cgminer.conf.template with ssh it seems to works not straight forward at least not for all - include fan speed in API datasets <- not likely, use remote ssh to change /etc/mg_custom_rate fan speed OUTPUT is obviosly meant - other pool options than failover only <- common! change /etc/cgminer.conf.template with ssh - Graphs on the first webguy page, there should be a button to disable some/all of them. <- you can reset them with a button. Disable them in /etc/cron.d with ssh
- Poll page could be managed on the front page with up&down buttons on each pool - GUI switches to turn off SSH would also be a good thing, plus for advanced users some sort of iptables in the OS for security. <- Use big random password from UI to disable it. Will consider adding iptables.
- true fan speed control by target temp
- change host name in web interface
- sum of PSU(unknown) input watts in addition to DC2DC watts, either on ASIC Stats page or main page, as for estimate of power at wall or PSU efficiency <- will implement in 2.6.7. For sp20 I assume 90% efficiency
- show ASIC Stats
Going to comment on this again - Im tired of changing the API setting via SSH, and on the hundreds of machines ive done, no reason not to have it in the GUI.

We have something like that as well- but for lots of customers that want to use something like CryptoGlance, and only has 2-3 machines being able to change it from the GUI would be nice

Is there any software I can use to monitor all my 6x SP20's which are remote? Other than going into them individually via ssh?

-----BOARD-3----- PSU[UNKNOWN]: 0->(205w/205w)[205 205 205] (->205w[205 205 205]) (lim=150) 0c 345GH cooling:0/0x0
Why do you suppose my board 3 exceeds the limit I have set of 150 in the settings tab? I would think it should have limited it like the other boards (<146).

Thx for sharing, nice work Guy Actually, with all due respect, i think that Guy has a puzzling perspective as seen at the very end. He thinks (as many others as well) that small dumping by miners somehow creates a vicious downward cycle. However, right now this is just 3600 coins a day or 100K coins a month (measly $20 mil $$ in a month which is nothing in comparison with world debt and money issuance) while we already have almost 14 mil coins. If there will be more interest in acquiring these coins from the general public, miners selling pressure would be overwhelmed. When the balance will occur, i don't know, but it is certainly not permanent.

If 100 million a month was spent buying coins for 3 months it would drive the market up a lot.

To me it indicates zero interest from wall street in bitcoin as an asset, nothing more, but this could change.

Dumping almost 1% of the total btc in existence per month is not "miniscule" in my book.

I've missed Bitcointalk Zvisha implemented the scheduler, please give it a try: http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/technical-blogAlso, we're doing soft launch of our cloud mining offerings. It's partnership with Genesis Mining. We're brining small amount of hash power online in our Israeli DC. Upon selling of contracts, we'll ship mining gear to cover the contracts to Genesis Mining DC in Iceland. Guy
