Graham potter was a great choice was what i heard often when he first joined the club and Chelsea were enjoying consecutive wins. Chelsea has now lost consecutively and all of a sudden everyone is talking about letting go of a coach that just joined them. I will not be quick to conclude that the coach is not good for the team, just that he needs a little more time to settle in with the players, understand and know that he is now the coach of one of the biggest teams in England and needs to be more tactical, and during the transfer window in January get some more players of his choice and choosing.

He’s a good coach, no doubt. When one or two players are out of form, it is understandable. But when the whole team is not in form, then the managers tactics needs to be questioned.
Chelsea has a manager who has no "wit" tactical approach toward games. The confidence level of the team is being crushed by these defeats. What he fails to understand is that, the players available aren’t suitable for the system he wants to deploy. Find a balance system to make them function till when you can bring in new players.

I don’t know how many of you’ll actually studied his past, because he’s not a short term fix but given time he’s showed that he can bring results hence Chelsea board won’t fire him unless they end up losing way too many matches. Also taking over a team in mid season is never easy, and this Chelsea squad was low on confidence even before he arrived thus the player’s need to take responsibility and stop hiding behind their coach.

I'd say the main reason Potter was brought in was for business reasons; they needed someone to help hire good scouts and do smart business with little money, and Tuchel was not that guy, nor is Zidane. Potter is ideal for this position, as evidenced by his internal recruitment. These are aspirant American business owners.

 Graham Potter has not failed, but you are correct about the players' attitude; he inherited a less motivated and lazy set of players who can't get basic passes right, a set of midfielders who are unwilling to take risks, and a set of midfielders who are unwilling to take a shot at goal. Things will be even more difficult than they are now, but what distinguishes a good manager is the ability to turn the results around, motivate the players, and start getting good results. As a Chelsea fan, it has been a very difficult time, but we hope to see some changes very soon. We have more deadwoods than i thought.

^  Nothing a couple of summer transfer windows couldn't fix.  And some of those players, prolly most of them, have been playing for Chelsea for how many seasons now?  More than three seasons?  That squad needs a new look imho.  But the problem could be are the new owners willing to do something like the mad Russian did and give the manager a 'blank check'?  Another thing they could do is copy Arteta and Arsenal.  It took three seasons to get better and to get where they are today.  The Chelsea brass would just have to trust their manager.

I think Tuchel had run his course at Chelsea because they won the Champions League when he took over from Lampard mid-season. They had a phenomenal run of success in Europe and also in the Premier League and he was instrumental in helping the team achieve it.

The following season Chelsea were knocked out of the Champions League by eventual winners Real Madrid and both games were stunning games to watch. Chelsea just about lost those knockout games and Real Madrid just about won them, it was brilliant end to end football therefore Tuchel cannot be blamed for that exit.

What got Tuchel sacked was losing his first choice defence including Rudiger and inadequate strikers. Havertz and Werner, absolutely not worth the money Abramovich paid for them to bring them to Chelsea. Not replacing Rudiger and Christensen was a massive error by the Chelsea hierarchy and that was another significant reason Tuchel had problems. Basically, the team stopped playing for Tuchel.

Potter is in the role now and deserves a clear run until the end of the season to see if he make Chelsea progress towards a top 4 finish.

Tottenham got a big hit by Liverpool last week while they were already inconsistent in the league quite much. This week they are facing Leeds home. I see this as a golden opportunity for them to pull themselves together. Tottenham are just struggling against big teams now but it isn't the same against smaller opponents thankfully. Leeds won their last two matches and one of them was against Liverpool in Anfield though. But I think this time they won't be able to do the same to Tottenham too. Tottenham should be winning this.

Manchester United are another problematic team in the recent times. Maybe they don't lose a match easily but their problem is rather related to productivity. They couldn't keep up with Aston Villa last week. Playing Fulham away can be tough for them. But I still think they can defeat Fulham just as they did in their last head-to-head here. They should be more careful in defense too not to have a similar scenario to the Aston Villa match.

The number one wont solve anything; is Atletico Madrid doing any better? Simeo is the highest paid coach and has spent more than half of his career at Atletico Madrid, but nothing good is happening around the club, his ideal is running out, sometimes you need to sack a coach to get what you want, all of the top clubs have been sacking coaches to get what they want, Chelsea has benefited the most from coach sacking.


Ziyech is leaving, but I doubt Chelsea would let him go in January because he is not a Chelsea kind of player. Pulisic is the only face of America right now who isn't leaving in January.

Chelsea is a high-demand club; they are accustomed to winning, so they have high expectations of their coaches; as fans, we go into every season with high expectations; I cannot say the same for Arsenal fans. Todd Boehly is willing to spend the money; all we need is a smart manager to select the right players with the right mindset. Our last transfer was even worse; the club was without a DOF, and the scouting department was terrible; the coach was terrible in the market; and we ended up with our third options.

What has Arteta accomplished thus far? It is still too soon to use him as a case study. lol

I would say Newcastle United will beat Chelsea and all eyes will be on the appointment of Potter. Spurs should beat Leeds United but it will be hard earned win. Wolves will surprise Arsenal by winning their games but Manchester City should go top of the Premier League with a win over Brentford.

As for Fulham, they would settle for a draw but Manchester United need to bounce back from the defeat last week if they want to be taken seriously in their aims for a top 4 finish.

This was a really weak stats for them and they scored only one goal out of this. Brentford gave them a football lesson by having very effective attacks despite coming much rarer than their opponent. Brentford had a very productive day at the same time. 8 out of 10 shots were on target and it was a really dramatic win for them as well. Toney scored the winning goal in literally the last moments. He was definitely the player of the match by scoring 2 goals.

This is what I expected from tonight's game, at least to give Arsenal a distance, even though it's only two points away at least Arsenal can get away with the next game, at least Arsenal can win the next game against Wolves, we know that Wolves are not the leading team but they have good players can make it difficult for Arsenal, plus Wolves are playing at home, of course that will make the game more exciting..

Just before the end of the game, there was a match between Manchester City and Brentford. However, there was no goal in the 90th minute, then 10 minutes of lost time was given, then Brentford's players beat Man City 2-1 after a very hard effort. However, most of the spectators were in favor of Man City, they thought that Man City would surely win, but in the end it was not the case. Man City had the highest betting percentage in Manchester City vs Brentford. Most of the betting sites who bet on Man City lost heavily in today's game.

the big surprise happened tonight when manchester city was beaten by brentford 1:2 at home, but the most interesting in my opinion was the Newcastle vs Chelsea match, chelsea who didn't want to lose any more points trying to win this game and newcastle wanted to keep winning to close the gap with Manchester City The loser, it looks like it will be a difficult match for Chelsea this week, seeing Newcastle's performance which is on fire

Brentford look dangerous every time they ventured forward. In the end, they probably deserved to win as Manchester City could not find the end product after stringing passes upon passes together.

De Bruyne had a very poor game, his passing was atrocious and it was him that could not get to the ball first which led to the Brentford winning goal from a counter-attack. A shocking game by De Bruyne considering the high levels he has set himself and everybody is used to. Haaland hardly got the ball, the service to him was almost non-existent therefore without the ball being at his feet he was unable to cause Brentford any damage.

I am a City supporter and of course very disappointed to see tonight's match City had to accept defeat at home, I also lost a bet in this match, but that's okay I think if you look at the points City will still stay in 2nd place in the standings even though they have to work hard to shift Arsenal at the top of the table, city must improve this defeat for the better in the future

Everton Vs AFS Bournemouth Today's game is very strong in both teams. If you were to judge the two teams, some of the best clubs would come up with their names. AFS Bournemouth Everton have conceded three goals between the two clubs. But I think the button players need a bit of experience because I couldn't imagine them losing by such a margin. But the stakes were high for Everton and I think a lot of people lost out. However, Everton club should move forward with better performance in the club.

Liverpool had a really solid match against Southampton. I really missed this Liverpool domination in a league match. Maybe Southampton aren't having a good season now. But it was not going very well for Liverpool as well in the recent times.

Nunez shined in this match by scoring two goals. Firmino scored after a long break and it was a really nice header. He wasn't called to Brazil national team for the World Cup and maybe his not scoring for some time was effective in this. Actually he deserves better than this I think because his general effort is still impressive this season. I believe that penalty should have given to Salah as he was pulled from his shirt. Southampton found a few clear goal chances but Alisson made nice saves.
