At one stage the game was in favour or Arsenal as they were winning 0-2 after just 10 minutes but one goal each side of half-time made it 2-2. Well done to West Ham for fighting back get a draw and a vital point for them but Arsenal also receive a point when they were on course to get 3 points. When the score was 1-2 Saka missed a penalty for Arsenal which would have made the score 1-3.

Arsenal have now played one game more than Manchester City and are four points ahead at the top of the league table. If Manchester City win that game in hand they will be just one point behind Arsenal.

Arsenal were winning 0-2 at Liverpool last week but they ended up drawing the game 2-2 and only survived because their goalkeeper saved them. Liverpool had chances to win but the Arsenal goalkeeper was in great form. Yesterday, Arsenal were winning 0-2 at West Ham and did the same thing. They drew the game 2-2 but West Ham had chances to win.

Arsenal need a win against Southampton otherwise their title challenge will probably be over because Manchester City will be favourites to be crowned Premier League champions.

@JollyGood it seems like Arsenal are crumbling under pressure from Manchester City, and another loss or a draw would definitely hurt their title chances. Furthermore Manchester United will be hurting after yesterday’s loss in the Europa League, hence I expect them to score lots of goals and win in style in their upcoming fixtures in the premier league.

^  I'm not sure if we could say Arteta and his boy are crumbling rn.  I mean they could be but it's too early to tell.  And Arsenal doesn't have to worry about playing Europe so their schedule of fixtures isn't as hectic as City's.  I think we'll see how Arsenal does against City at the midweek after this coming weekend.    I think they'll give a good account of themselves getting at least a draw.  But that's just me.

I wonder why Arsenal are losing form,and making costly mistakes at this period when they are just few matches to the end of the season,the pressure that they can't win the league is overwhelming them at this crucial minute,and it's   very heartbreaking.

They are an inexperienced squad with many young players. After playing mediocre football for some time under Arteta it is the first time they are finding themselves in this situation and it must have been a surprise even for them therefore they have felt under pressure as Manchester City chase them.

Manchester City host Arsenal soon and most would expect Manchester City to win. As Arsenal dropped points against Southampton in their 3-3 draw yesterday they have already been psychologically beaten by Manchester City even before they walk on to the pitch.

The timing will be spot on when they face each other. Arsenal really needed a win against Southampton but only managed a draw. Those two goals in two minutes bringing the score from 1-3 to 3-3 will help them mentally but they dropped another 2 points yesterday. Newcastle United gave a very harsh lesson to Tottenham as they sit in 3rd place. Tottenham will probably miss out on automatic qualification for the Champions League and leave it Manchester United and Newcastle United to battle it out for 3rd and 4th place finishes to the season.

West Ham took a massive step to safety with a big win away at Bournemouth but they can still mathematically be dragged in to the relegation zone.

This season, Totteham is dealing with a similar managerial issue to Chelsea. They fired the manager and hired the assistant, and now they've fired the assistant and hired the assistant to the formal assistant. The club's decision to fire Conte for telling the truth about the players and the team is turning out to be a poor one. Conte was confidently guiding this club to a top-4 finish, but now they are competing with Aston Villa and Liverpool for a spot in the Europa league, and if they lose to Manchester United, they might not make it.


Aston Villa defeated Fulham 1-0 to go to fifth place. Totteham is currently in sixth place, and tomorrow they must dig their own grave.

Tottenham lost to Newcastle in a way that has rearly happened in football history... I see it differently; they've been struggling since the former keeper and a handful of players left them. Erikson was a key man in the team, but he was sold for a reason I can't even tell.
Now, I realized that Tottenham has alot of lapses...like having a compatible replacement to any player that gets injured or leaves the club... etc. Atleast, lloris was supposed to wait a little while after the severe knee injury..(who knows how he felt during the match that he conceived that much?)? ... The England striker and captain was only left to struggle alone in the pitch without much support and players with a coordinated gameplay.
Sometimes, I also feel it's necessary to grade Leicester and Tottenham on the same page... they've got a low defensive strength that any team could pull through easily.. I really feel for Tottenham as they'll have to decide Thier fate.

Aston Villa defeated Fulham 1-0 to go to fifth place. Totteham is currently in sixth place, and tomorrow they must dig their own grave.

Look at how well Aston Villa have performed ever since Gerrard was sacked and Emery replaced him as manager. As for Tottenham, seriously though what is going on with them?

Erikson was a key man in the team, but he was sold for a reason I can't even tell.

I cannot be sure but I believe Eriksen wanted another challenge because Tottenham had reached a peak and could not progress including losing the Champions League final to Liverpool therefore he moved on to Inter Milan (I believe). After that there was the sad incident when he collapsed on the field.

Since he recovered and started playing again, he has been instrumental in the recovery road that Manchester United have been on while at the same time Tottenham have shown glimpses of brilliance but again are struggling to chase the pack for a top four finish to the season.

I have seen a lot of arguments about Arsenal being a 'loser' team.(No offense to anyone, just an observation about the conversations) People have been saying that even though they were leading the league, they cannot see the finish line because they are not a 'winner' team but a 'loser' team. They were doing good until recently that they lost points in the three games and they were beaten by 4 goals against their biggest rival in the league. By this 'winner' and 'loser' logic, there are only like 5 teams in the world who are 'winners' anyway, every other team is 'loser'. So, I don't agree with this. If someone had said at the beginning of the year that Arsenal would be the 2nd this season, Arsenal would happily have agreed and withdrawn before this team even took the field. The opponent, City, has 6 stoppers, they play them as they please. But, one of Arsenal's defenders was injured and their whole power was affected. In City, there is Haaland who shattered all the records at the age of 22, but in Arsenal's side there is Jesus who was sent by his former team because he was thought unnecessary. Arsenal may have lost the title already but their accomplishments this season should not be ignored.

Arsenal will finish second in the table and Manchester City will end up as premier champions again. They did well this season but will they keep up momentum next season?

Even if Arsenal end up winning games they will have to rely on Manchester City to drop points. It is highly unlikely Arsenal will win the Premier League this season.

I don't understand what people think Chelsea could change with the arrival of lampard, I see a lot of criticism about him. the problem is not with lampard, lampard has the misfortune of joining teams when they are already composed, this is the worst mistake a coach can make if he accepts the job and it is not clear that one should only hope for good results in the season Next. chelsea's problem is in the composition of the players, there is nothing else a coach can do with that composition of players, let's look at the past, in the time of tuchel, chelsea, instead of making good signings in the attack, they made a mistake in bringing from lukaku returns and kept the same guys who didn't score goals in the past seasons, what did you expect tuchel? As a consequence, Chelsea fired Tchel because they didn't have good results, then they hired another coach who again made the same mistakes as Tuchel that even I kept wondering if it was the coaches who signed players or was the owner of the team that made signings of players

with the constant bullshit in signings, chelsea's squad has become very poor in terms of the individual quality of the players, it is no longer a question in which a coach who appears in the team while the composition of the team is already made can change something, which chelsea management should do it first and when they bring in another coach they sell all attacking players and bring in new players, if they don't do that, they will just spend more money signing expensive players without any proof of consistent good performance and keep these all attacking players so next season chelsea will not be doing well at all and will fire coaches, it's not lampard's fault, we can see that tuchel who is at bayern having the same difficulties as lampard, that's because tuchel even being a good coach arrived at bayern while the whole team was already assembled, it wasn't tuchel who chose those players to be on the team

Next year, Arsenal will also have the champions league games, they will return after many years and will want to make an impact with their young squad. Next season surely will be more challenging than this year; Therefore, it is necessary to make good additions to the roster. Trossard, for example, is a good start in terms of attack force. While Gabriel can think of a defender for the first squad, the substitute needs a name close to the quality of the ace squad. If a replacement for Gabriel is acquired to the main squad, Holding and Gabriel will be sufficient for the reserves. Still, I think Arsenal's accomplishments should be acknowledged and next couple of years seem bright for them.

Back when Abramovich was the Chelsea owner, he would regularly fire managers every season or two and the squad's performance has stayed mostly intact for most of his tenure. So clearly, the manager run-in is not the problem. The problem is with the players that are chosen to start together. Chelsea plays a 3-4-2-1 so if you're not starting players who are good in that system, of course shit will hit the fan.

I see people blaming it on the lack of strikers, the lack of a good defense and stuff like that. And that's horseshit because they've signed good players like Mudryk, Koulibaly, Felix, hell even Gallagher is good as long as you play him properly. You can't just buy anyone you like and expect them to just fit in the system.

A complete and total breakdown of tactical play is why they are struggling to win games big time, and I don't see that just changing overnight next season. Which is bad for them, because they risk becoming another Spurs.

The Tottenham - Manchester United match ended in a different way compared to my expectation. Tottenham have had big weaknesses in their defending in the recent times and it was the main reason behind their horrible loss against Newcastle as well. Because of that I thought they would still have issues in the same position against the Red Devils as well. They did actually and Manchester United made use of the chances in a really nice way by getting 2-0 ahead.

After seeing that score I was like that was it and Manchester United were going to get a similar result to Newcastle's. But there was a really good effort by Tottenham offense later on. Porro's goal gave hope for a comeback. However I think the breaking point of the match was Manchester United's wasting two huge chances to make it 3-1. First Fernandes' shot hit the crossbar and then Forster saved Wan-Bissaka's header.

If Tottenham conceded that goal I don't think they would have got even a draw. They really needed a win here to increase their chance for top 4 again.

I don't understand what people think Chelsea could change with the arrival of lampard, I see a lot of criticism about him.

I would say a lot of the criticism is justified, after all if he cannot even get desired results then he is the one who has to answer the fans, the owners and the media about the failure. He failed with Chelsea twice as manager and also failed at Everton. He had success at Derby as manager but he quit his job just as they were on the verge of a return to the Premier League via the play-offs and the irony is if he had stayed maybe he would been offered the Chelsea job a few years down the line and it could have all turned out very differently.

Still, I think Arsenal's accomplishments should be acknowledged and next couple of years seem bright for them.

Arsenal definitely have potential that cannot be denied but they still did not win anything this season. I am not confident they will challenge next season on multiple fronts such as the Premier League and Champions League but full credit to them for pushing Manchester City right to the end in the Premier League.
