@JollyGood it does seems that Potter has managed to turnaround things, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they started losing again too hence I would totally avoid wagering on them.

At Chelsea finally have some momentum now and credit lay with Potter. If Chelsea finish outside the top 4 as expected but manage to go on a successful Champions League run, it would be a good season considering how badly they faltered after Tuchel was sacked.

Nice one for Potter and Chelsea as well, I must say that the man G. Potter is getting the spark back on Chelsea but as we all know the fans, they're still waiting if he'll make any mistakes.

I am happy for Potter, he deserves some good fortune after the miserable and painful run that Chelsea have endured. I hope he and Chelsea keep it going and they manage to get more points on the table. The way he was affected when he and his family received threats (by supposed-Chelsea fans) was sad to see, I hope he can keep a winning run going.

Brighton and Hove Albion 1-0 Crystal Palace
Southampton 0-2 Brentford

The games played yesterday boosted Brighton as they attempt to finish the season in the top four and also were problematic for Southampton as they are rooted to the bottom of the league table. If Brighton win their games in hand they will be equal 4th place alongside Tottenham. As for Southampton, they can climb out of the relegation zone with just one win.

Still everything to play for this season.

After maintaining a really bad form for a long time Chelsea finally started to win in the league. They even won by 3-1 against Leicester which must be some help for them to continue scoring goals like this. Because their biggest problem has been with scoring goals comfortably despite finding so many opportunities to score. It is still early to trust them of course but who knows maybe this result would help them get better.

Qualifying for the Champions League is not a realistic goal for Chelsea anymore. But they can at least finish the season at a better position. They are doing much better in the Champions League though but I don't know how far they can go.

Chelsea winning Might not go far but if they are well organized than before then there is hope on them in this season. In the match against Leicester with 3-1 they tried, we all pray that they should reclaim their champion in this league. We all know that Chelsea plays game but the issue was the striker and the attacking force. But looking at things now, their scoring skills are getting better so now that they can score goal well, they can win the tournament, but that can also be probably.

I am very happy for Potter especially after losing the first leg of their Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund but winning the second leg and qualifying for the quarter-finals. As for their win against Leicester City, they need to keep the momentum going as it will help them off to a good start at the beginning of next season.

Chelsea are 11 points off 4th place therefore the only realistic way they can participate in the Champions League next season is by winning the competition this season. That might not be as unrealistic a scenario as first expected.

Result from the game played yesterday: Nottingham Forest 1-2 Newcastle United

On current form I would expect Chelsea and Tottenham to win their games. If Tottenham win it will make an interesting race for a top four finish because they would leapfrog Manchester United in to 3rd place.

Aston Villa beat Bournemouth at home by three goals. Bournemouth needed more points but they didn't play well. Aston Villa scored an early goal early in the first half but couldn't increase the pressure after the goal. Bournemouth wanted to get back into the game but failed. Aston Villa started to get into more positions in the second half and scored 2 more goals towards the end of the match and completed the match 3-0. Thus, let's say that they increased their points to 38. Bournemouth remained on 24 points.

Chelsea had a high level of dominance in the first half against Everton in Stamford Bridge. But there was no goal anyway. Everton started to play more decently in the second half and we watched all the action in that one as well. I still think Chelsea deserved to be the winner of this match. They got ahead two times but there was a devastating goal by Simms in the last moments of the match.

Actually Everton weren't so different than the time before Sean Dyche. They weren't in good shape which was an opportunity for Chelsea to take. But they wasted it generously.

Both Tottenham and Chelsea dropped points, somewhat unexpectedly. Well done to Everton to get a point as they try to fight off a serious relegation threat. Conte has been in the news for a long time that he will soon be leaving Tottenham because his performance was not optimal so he could not give Tottenham many wins and this news is true.
In this week's match there are 2 initial matches that are quite awaited, namely the Manchester City vs Liverpool match
Arsenal vs Leeds United
these two matches will be exciting to watch because they are a big team that has the top rank in the temporary standings in the 2022/2023 English Premier League season.
I will not leave the bet on the match tomorrow.

I am not sure why Conte took out his disappointment on the players and then mentioned the owners in that press conference but it seemed as though Conte maybe wanted to get out of the job and his rants towards the players and owners directed towards it. Let us be fair, he underwent heart surgery and probably needed more time to get back in to the demands of day to day managing.

Manchester City 4-1 Liverpool

Liverpool scored first courtesy of Salah on 17 minutes but Manchester City took control of the game and ended up thrashing Liverpool by scoring four goals and winning the game 4-1. Manchester City are now just 5 points behind leaders Arsenal and have +5 goal difference. Arsenal play Leeds United today at 3pm and can increase the gap if they win or draw.

If you've been following Liverpool games closely since the world cup break, you'd probably agree with me that Salah has been the team's best player and the only quality. However, the midfield and defense need to be completely overhauled, as those two positions are where the attackers and Salah are lacking support, forcing them to drop deep whenever they lose the ball.

If the club can sign 2-3 good midfielders this summer, they may be able to recover; they have a world-class coach who can turn things around quickly.

Do you honestly believe Salah does not deserve a weekly salary of £350,000? In this crazy transfer/football business right now. Salah's talent would easily earn him more elsewhere.

FYI: Manchester City has verbally agreed to raise Halaand's salary to £400,000 per week for someone who has only been at the club for a few months and has won no trophies.

If the club can sign 2-3 good midfielders this summer, they may be able to recover; they have a world-class coach who can turn things around quickly.

If Klopp stays around and the club owners allow him to completely overhaul the squad then maybe Liverpool can recover but on current form they will make it to the Champions League next season as they will not finish in the top four Premier League this season.

Chelsea took a massive step backwards today after a set of good results by being beaten at home by Aston Villa. Both Manchester City and Arsenal scored big wins. Both Brentford and Brighton sit in 6th and 7th place in the table, they are just 6 points away from a Champions League place and they deserve all the plaudits for their displays in the league to date.

No club wage structure lasts forever, I remember Chelsea protecting their 200 wage per week until Toress came in and broke it and pocketed 250, so it was only a matter of time for Liverpool to find someone worth enough to break that, and I believe Salah deserves it statistically.

Would both of these scenarios turn around the fortunes of the clubs?
