^  Chelsea are looking good in their last couple of match ups but dunno...  I feel like Brighton could get a point here.  And it'll be a good one as it's an away fixture and it's against a supposedly better club that's hard to beat in their own pitch.

I parlayed Man City team total over 1.5, Brighton +1, Nottingham Forest vs Fulham BTTS and Man United vs Tottenham under 3.5 goals at 7.71.    Just a small bet for the lulz.  If I win, gonna bet on some underdogs in UFC Paris.

It is worth a shot truthfully. I understand you if you go with that choice of yours.    Because this is Chelsea and we all know their situation for so many years. They need to continue winning many more games to prove it that it is different this time.

If I bet on this match I will still go for Chelsea win. Just for fun.    Maybe I would bet some on their winning by a difference of one goal. Because I expect a really close rivalry here. Both sides have very capable players to score.

Palmer's performance is nearly always the key for Chelsea. When he has a good day it is really difficult to lose that match. They didn't even register him to the Conference League squad to help him give his 100% in the PL.

If that does happen and then Arsenal manage to beat Leicester City in the 3pm game, it will put pressure on Liverpool when they play their game at Wolves in the late game. Overall, I am confident Manchester City will drop points but Arsenal and Liverpool will take maximum points.

Nice parlay, going to hop on this as well, maybe add some few games to round up the odd to 10 for greed. Our defence is beginning to take shape. I didn't watch the last two games for some reasons, but I did watch the highlights and noticed some encouraging developments in our defence, becoming more solid and keeping some important clean sheets to boost confidence. but I see Brighton taking +1 against us. The best they can get.

I expect wins for Arsenal, Chelsea, Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest. I am confident of draws in the games featuring Newcastle United, Brentford and Wolves. If Arsenal win and Manchester City draw their respective games, it will leave both teams on 14 points 

No Liverpool? This weekend, my money in going on Liverpool and Arsenal amd probably Manchester City but not sure about this last bit yet though but here's my current bias:

City wants to win after that disappointing game against Arsenal on Sunday. This will be good to get them back to winning ways after Arteta and Arsenal denied them that opportunity despite being a man down for the entirety of the second half.

Arsenal came under heavy criticism for parking the bus against City. They won their Carabao cup fixture and I expect them to replicate against against Leicester city who hasn't done really well for themselves since being back in the EPL.

The best part — Arne Slot and his team for the win. Not much to say exact for that Liverpool is in a fine form and  the boys are really enjoying winning and playing. We could see how hard Gakpo and Nunez have worked hard in recent games. Plenty of attacking options still including Diaz, Salah, Jota, Gakpo, Szoboslai, etc to name a few.

Fingers crossed. Should be an interesting weekend ahead.

I'mma be honest with you, city ain't even prepared to lose a single game yet, especially since they already bagged a draw against arsenal -- a tough one! Leading with 13 pts overall, it's quite a shaky position on the table as their GD is a bit below that of their closest rival, Liverpool. They've only conceded 1 goal and it's pretty much understood; if city gets ran aground tomorrow, it's even gonna get worse, I'm afraid.

As for Newcastle, for the last 2 meetings, they conceded 2 goals on an average against city (including other competitions...EPL, FA) so there's still a chance they can win with at least 1 goal.
If I were to bet on them, I'd go for my most preferred option, the ASIAN HANDICAP.

Newcastle couldn't win but they weren't bad at all. Manchester City lacked in defense today. That resulted in a 1-1 draw. It is nice to see though. I want some more competition among multiple teams. 


What a talent Palmer is! 



Chelsea - Brighton match has been one of the best matches I have seen lately. 4-2 at halftime. Palmer puts on a wonderful show. 4 goals already in the first half. That's just incredible!

If you didn't watch this half then you missed a lot. Because there were many more goal chances wasted and goals that were disallowed. By the way it looks like Chelsea has found its new Hazard.

So I made 3 preductions before Saturday which included City, Arsenal and Liverpool all to win for the weekend. City with the early kick off. I underestimated how much City would miss the services of KDB and Rodri today and to make matters worse, no foden. Haaland is a player that does really well when he gets plenty of services. The fact that it didn't happen today meant he was no way to be found despite playing 90 minutes + extra time.

Arsenal, Fumbled a 2-0 lead to managed to fight back. Not much to say here considering they nearly drew the match but those two late goals came just in time.

Only saw 20 minutes of the Liverpool game. Will have to check the highlights later.

Statistically it seems Aston Villa will beat Ipswich Town and I will go with that view. As for Manchester United and Tottenham, both are in desperate need of a win and neither really wants to face the consequences of a loss therefore a draw seems the obvious outcome.

De Bruyne is not the same player he was a few seasons ago, clearly age and time have caught up with him and Guardiola already knows he will have limited impact on games even when he is on the pitch. As for Rodri, it was announced he will be out of the rest of the season and that is going to impact their title defence. On that basis alone, they will probably finish the league in second, third or even fourth place but not as champions.

My God!! City has never been this vulnerable in defending against their position on the table!
First of all, Rodri is a defensive midfielder and obviously, he has a replacement. Either ways, the usual formation pattern wasn't used in their game against Newcastle - 4 3 3 C. Guardiola had to use a 4 2 3 1 formation and somehow, he had 3 attacking midfielders and 2 defensive midfielders as well.

Brentford and West Ham's clash between Brentford and West Ham ended in a goalless draw. The hosts, who started the game with a goal as soon as the match started, couldn't hold on to the score. Maybe if they had pushed their opponents more after conceding a goal in the first minute they might have had a chance to break the game early but they couldn't do that. After conceding a goal in the first minute, West Ham didn't give up and kept fighting. The equalizer came from Soucek early in the second half.

I wouldn't also be surprised if we see them having problems in midfield. Rodri is a very important member of this area. Yeah, there are players like Gündoğan, Nunes and Kovacic. But I don't think any of them is as capable as Rodri. He is a complete midfielder helping defense and offense lines both in a wonderful way.

He could have really scored his 5th goal there definitely.    He is a special talent and I wouldn't be surprised if he gets an offer next summer. Chelsea tries his best to keep him but if they don't win trophies it would be harder to have him for many years.

As for the United game,  so we all agree that Man U are shit and ETH needs to go right, because I don't know what we want as more proof that ETH has nothing better to offer than the last few seasons he gave United silverwares.

Tottenham Hotspur got better than what they would had been expecting, I thought the game was going to be a draw but Man united never disappoints, they'll always find a way to ruin your tickets. Theater of dreams indeed..

Well, so far Ipswich Town F.C. has never won. It's just that when I saw their performance this time against Aston Villa and they were able to hold the top club to a draw, I thought, hmm, they might actually be able to do it. They were able to make a draw match 2 - 2



Well, especially when I saw the progress of the match, their match statistics, even Ipswich Town F.C. has a bigger attack than Aston Villa. It's just that there were some missed chances. But this time, a pretty great job for them.

I don't make judgement on games based on stats only, I prefer watching the game or match review because the stats don't always tell the true story.

I was occupied for this game and didn't watch, so I can't say much but Aston villa missed their chance to top the table and give themselves some momentum. Watkins is having a time of his life for sure, put him in a better team and he'll become a better world class player.

Teams having high numbers of shot to me don't impress me, I prefer technicality more. Make sure when you shoot it's on target and gives you an opportunity of scoring. Having 3 shots and 3 on target and probably scoring 1/2 goals with those shots is more impressive to me than having 10 shots and only 1/2 on target.

Aston villa had a better game if we're to look at the stats because they did less work and got the same result that Ipswich got, they should have won though.

That just might be the reason they avoid relegation, they would prefer a point than zero points. I think they will get a few wins and start moving up the table.

Ten Hag is not suitable for Manchester United, he will not resign therefore he should be sacked. They still have a chance to make a top four finish and make it to the Champions League next season but the sooner he leaves the more chances the new manager will have to bring his own ideas in to change the failures they face on the pitch.

Old man extended his contract a few months ago; give him a break unless you have a huge cheque to buy him out of his two remaining years' contract. The entire club is in disarray; they need to address the problem at the top and modernise the training facilities to make training easier. Sacking managers is not the answer; all of the coaches who have come and gone were in peak form before arriving. Sacking ETH won't address the situation.

Don't let your hate for the club cloud your stand, I know you'll rather have ETH stay at the club and crumble it than a change that'll get them balling again.

Personally I don't like it when clubs aren't doing well, it makes the football boring to watch that's why I love competition. Let all the clubs be at their top form and then let watch to see who win then they can have a deserving victory.

You'll rather have your club  (Chelsea) sack managers than fixing other things that's needed at the club, how many managers has Chelsea hired before it looks like now, they got something working. Manchester United can go done the same path and get the team up and running before other renovations can come in.

You raise a valid point, the entire club is in disarray.

The hierarchy did give Ten Hag a contract extension but that was after they could not find a replacement for him when they wanted him out. I think they will end up paying millions in compensation to Ten Hag to get rid of him and then will probably pay millions to buy out the contract of the manager they want and after that they will pay him millions in salary and then buy players he wants by paying more millions. They have spent millions on managers and players but did not find success but this time they cannot blame the Glazers ownership because Radcliffe is the man controlling the footballing side of things.

Ever since Ferguson retired, the club has been in chaos apart from a few moments of success and if they ever want to have even a fraction of that success they will have to try to rebuild again but this time with a new manager.

I share your sentiments. Rather than have one-sided boring games it is better for two teams playing while they are on top form. There can be no excuses by fans, players and managers if two team are facing each other with their strongest possible starting eleven (with best substitutes on the bench). It would be better to play in a competitive league rather than one when where there is no real competition.

Erik ten Hag says he has no worries about his seat. He says there is a mutual agreement that he is staying this season. This can turn out to be good or much worse for Manchester United. I hope the former happens. 

If we see the latter then it is going to be a bigger debris to handle. I really don't know what the real issue has been with this team for who knows how many years...

He gave various insights within the interview but it was not groundbreaking news. I do not see how Ten Hag will remain manager for long because reports suggest the players have accepted his days are numbered and are expected to endorse Ruud van Nistelrooy to replace him.
