QQ: Any idea how automatically substitution work? Eustopinan didn't play today but Lamptey did so I was thinking Lamptey will automatically be subbed in for Eustopinan? Having happened so far.

This gameweek has been super weird.

I tried to explain how subs work multiple times here, I am giving up writing the same stuff every week  Just tell me your team name and I will tell you if he is in 100%. Not your fantasy nickname, your fantasy team name.

Auto subs are happening only after whole GW is over, so you will see it on official page on Monday evening or Tuesday latest.

I hope this becomes my case as, I’ve got two players missing on my team @Isak @Estupinan. Isak has been one of my unproductive investments. Don’t know how I got him here and everything I imagined just stayed in my imaginations. Lamptey better substitutes his 7 points for one of my zeros, I need that.

Isak's zero minutes yesterday means he'll start the CL game this week and will most likely be benched again in GW 6. He is currently one of the most transferred out this week. The choice is entirely yours.

That is exactly what I was thinking, feels strange to agree with Igebotz on something 

Wilson is one of my favorite players in PL and if he gets majority of minutes in PL and Isak in CL, that is perfect for me and I will bring him to my team immediately for these nice fixtures. He would be my 8th attacker so when there isn't CL game, he can sit on bench. Even if he has to play, he usually manages to score with cameo appearance.

This is probably the last week I am giving chance to Jackson, if he does not start converting, bye bye for Wilson or Morris.

This Chelsea backline has better concede some goals - don't want our triple-Chelsea squads to get too carried away scoring this GW.

Considering what happened at Forest home though, that should not be too difficult to realize.

We can both agree that Jackson needs to be replaced before the price drops again this week. The entire Chelsea attack is ineffective. Jackson is another Benteke who works hard but has a bad finishing touch.

Poch is making it tough for me to believe in this process; there is no sign of improvement, and this is a far cry from what we witnessed in preseason.

Thank you for your response. I got it. I went through the FAQs section of FPL and saw that there's automatic substitution for players that don't play at least a minute in a gameweek but it didn't say when the automatically substitution actually occurs. Good to know now as those points will go a long way for me in this GW.

Saka has been ever-green for me. I understand that he's not at his best but man has been chipping in 4-8 on average per game week so I'm definitely keeping him for much longer. He'll have his time. But Rashford and Sterling don't seem to be bringing any point. I know their overall team performances have been nothing to write home about but not contributing to my progress in the league is a big no no. I will look to offload them in the coming weeks.

This gameweek is a pandemic, it affected literally everyone, so it’s just one of those weeks that are unavoidable, most midfield options were blank and only few alternative captain choice made much of an impact, this is how it often goes immediately after most of the international breaks.

Did you guys seen chances Haaland missed this GW? Some he shot badly and some were incredible saves but the point is on another day Haaland scores 5 goals and most of us have a lot of points. Son and Salah captainers really dodged the bullet this GW.

New GW, new opportunities to get disappointed Taking Alvarez almost in the beginning is by far my best move this season. No more patience for Chelsea players in my team, except Gusto, he is cheap enough to be bench fodder and used here and there.

I took the advice to give Jackson some more chance on my team, no goal again for him this GW. I will definitely be making lots of transfers next week.

No Ramsdale this GW, replaced by Raya who has made his debut performance for Arsenal and was able to keep a clean sheet. With the Champions league starting this week and Arsenal being in the competition, there will be lots of rotation in the team and Goalkeeper in the premier league for Arsenal in games will not be constant. Maybe I need to send Ramsdale out of my team as well, he is also not exactly the best with clean sheets too right now.

Who has Declan Rice? what do you think about him and his performance recently for Arsenal? Personally I feel he is becoming more comfortable, and also needs to learn to take his chances so he can at least have more goals to his name that will further help improve his confidence.

First rule of fantasy, never take defensive midfielders, they simply don't have a way to points. There is always players suckered by their cheap price but that price is cheap for a reason. They don't get clean sheet points (ok they get one), they get same amount of points as other midfielders for goals and assists and they play so far from the goal. They will have one or two great games per season but that is it. And Rice doesn't even have penalties or free kicks like some other DMs.

Like I said, his been a worst investment for me, haven’t made even avargeage points from him since he got on my team, Watkins even was a more better option and I did transfer him out to get Isak in. I guess I’ll just have to leak my wounds and see him out. Still have to contemplate on that over the week though.

It’s a rough week for me non the less. Having over 3 players to zero out on my team. A bitter lesson on international breaks that precedes the UCL. Worst still, didn’t spend much on my bench players and have got almost zero on everyone except for Lamptey. Naaahhh, not a great week although, it’s relatable.

They even have the chance of staying long in the Europa Conference League, they are in a group where to me they are the strongest.

Also, because of the various other competitions that will be starting soon, the Champions League, the Europa and the Europa Conference League etc. there will be a lot more of rotations amongst players, some players in our teams who play for the English teams in these competitions may not become regular players in the premier league.

This will cost you -8 hits + 1FT if your balance is flexible for incomings, otherwise you will most likely go above -8 hits to make it happen. It's best to avoid Arsenal's goalkeepers because both will be regularly rotated.

There's no way you'd make it through the FPL without Halaand; he's the only player who would never go 5 games without scoring in 3 or 4. Salah as captain is not a bad option, but we've seen him go 5 games without a goal far too frequently. How do you intend to integrate both players currently without suffering significant hits or activating WC?

it is really challenging to have Haaland and Salah in your team, you probably want Salah due to being Liverpool fan, and respect for that, but how much are these two together, 25+% whole squad worthiness?

If I could somehow squeeze out one of my 7.0 midfielders and throw Salah in without sacrificing the defense, that would be a huge squad upgrade.

But I'm about 2.1m short of making that happen. Although I could throw out Chilwell and get Gusto to save 1.6m or so. I'm not sure if that's really worth it at this point though.

If we speak frankly, the start of the season looks pretty good for me. I made several decisions that paid off.

Salah (starting with 1 game week) stably brought me glasses in every game week, I also made it my captain in that game week when he scored more points than Haaland. And even this week, Salah saved the position of the entire team, so I slowly go up in the ranking.

Udogie, Saliba ... Both of successful peaks while everyone else chose Chilwell and Gabriel ... I am very pleased with this election, although I seriously think about replacing Saliba with Digne (given the series of matches of Aston Villa). At the moment, the ideal protection for me is as follows: Udogie, Digne, Trippier, Gusto and 1 more (Estupiñán or Saliba).
