If I could somehow squeeze out one of my 7.0 midfielders and throw Salah in without sacrificing the defense, that would be a huge squad upgrade. But I'm about 2.1m short of making that happen. Although I could throw out Chilwell and get Gusto to save 1.6m or so. I'm not sure if that's really worth it at this point though.

If we speak frankly, the start of the season looks pretty good for me. I made several decisions that paid off.

Salah (starting with 1 game week) stably brought me glasses in every game week, I also made it my captain in that game week when he scored more points than Haaland. And even this week, Salah saved the position of the entire team, so I slowly go up in the ranking.

Udogie, Saliba ... Both of successful peaks while everyone else chose Chilwell and Gabriel ... I am very pleased with this election, although I seriously think about replacing Saliba with Digne (given the series of matches of Aston Villa). At the moment, the ideal protection for me is as follows: Udogie, Digne, Trippier, Gusto and 1 more (Estupiñán or Saliba).

I am not so sure about Estupinan nowadays as he's going to be dogged from running around in the Europa League and Premier League. So his minutes might get more restricted.


Matt Turner losing his clean sheet already and getting sagged 0 - 1 by Burnley at home, looks like the beginning of the end for his nailed starting position.

With the Champions league starting this week and Arsenal being in the competition, there will be lots of rotation in the team and Goalkeeper in the premier league for Arsenal in games will not be constant. Maybe I need to send Ramsdale out of my team as well, he is also not exactly the best with clean sheets too right now.

Who has Declan Rice? what do you think about him and his performance recently for Arsenal? Personally I feel he is becoming more comfortable, and also needs to learn to take his chances so he can at least have more goals to his name that will further help improve his confidence.

Arteta already said he would actively rotate members of his team but it's going to change if Raya ends up performing better than Ramsdale in the long haul. Ramsdale is too error prone so he'll most likely be one with less minute.

I don't know if I would like to have any goalkeeper now with exception from Pope. Problem is I am not spending that much on goalkeeper in defence which you can easily cover with Trippier, Schar and Botman. All three are better options for me.

Yep, went to replace him - but this game just ain't for me.
I wanted to take Hickey, their RB instead. But amazing as I am, I misclicked and took Collins instead.

Now I'll have to use another transfer to replace him in 1-2 rounds because he's fooking useless.

It is horrible that I was able to collect only 30 points for Gw5. Many of my players wasn't in the starting eleven this week and I lost so many points as I was able to get rid of Stones new who was in my substitutes. I would have still been the leader if I started the season with another player instead of Stones. And my budget would have been much more relieved. I will transfer another forward after getting rid of Jackson next week. I'm open for suggestions about this topic.

On the other hand if you do it at the wrong time you will be left behind, all the way to the back. Which leaves me quite undecided, do I go with the majority and find other differentials or take some risks here and there and get paid off big?

That was my biggest mistake last season, I could say that literally cost not ending up on one of the winners list because, I was so hell bent on having Mo Salah for majority the beginning of the season, especially when Liverpool were having supposedly easier fixture, but Salah just was inconsistent, even though he provided a lot of points and one of the most in his position, my decision of captaining him, while having TAA cost me the ability to have a more valuable midfield options due budget.

I'm playing the game of non loyalty this time around, I won't wait around too long for a player who wouldn't stay consistent, Haaland have been anywhere near his performance of last season, the but number of goals he could have scored, just shows it takes Haaland just one or two games, and he'd eclipse the entire captaincy points amassed by a captain selection of 2-3 weeks.

The whole reason Haaland's a popular captain pick is that his xG is at least 1 on any given GW. Only other player who comes close to this is Salah.

You are already doing very good in the pool and if I am reading your username correctly then you are in 5th place.

Yeah, but Salah days when he scores several goals in one game seem to be in the past. He plays more wide now and is more of a creative force for the team. When you captain a midfielder, you want goals since midfielders get more points for goals than forwards.

And the biggest problem of not giving the band to Haaland is that you need to be right almost every time. Usually when someone outscores Haaland it is by few points but when Haaland gets his day it is a shitload of points and you lose in one week what you were gaining in 5.

Haaland is scoring less goals than the expected despite finding quite many chances in the recent matches. He had chances to make a hat-trick in the West Ham and Crvena zvezda matches. Therefore I find it quite risky to make another player captain instead of him. Because I think Haaland will surge in in a short time.

After a disaster GW3, I wanted to make some changes, but I decided to let it play out for now then this happened. Last month I was sitting at the near bottom of the group and now i'm suddenly within the top 10. 

I'm okay waiting for the free bet next week and there are always matches to bet on anyway.

The experience that many players have here playing is giving them an edge. I like to see when people recognize mistakes that cost them and from the experience avoid such from happening again. Halaand has 45 points and Alvarez has 37 points at a price of £6.9m. If he continues to play this much, he will be the closest thing to Halaand at the end of the season for a very low cost. He's in the best shape of his life, and Pep and the rest of the club are enjoying it as well. I just added him to my team. Let's enjoy the ride while it's still going.
