I haven't tried it yet but maybe just for fun I'd love to do it but in all seriousness, maybe I'll take its prediction, and maybe not. It's still on me to decide whether I'll take the prediction as my sole decision if I think that we're in line with what's with my analysis.

Some of it's drawbacks are;
-It will Kill the fun in betting. A part of the fun in betting is the uncertainty and the suspense in not knowing if you will win or loose.

-It has the Potential to make people Lazy, and not to want to read or decide to want to know more about the sports they are betting on.

-People will depend more on betting to make money, the dependence on it can pose a danger to one's life since the AI cannot be correct all the time, the over dependence can cause depression whenever the AI doesn't get it correctly.

Definitely not, I will not blindly trust an AI to make sports prediction for me as I have my own decision who to bet on certain sports. Maybe I will try to ask, and see if we have the same prediction. And that's where the fun is, you have to analyze and believed in yourself that you will win.

It would be nice to know what data the ChatGPT uses to predict the game outcome because if it uses data from the web for sure it will always recommend the player/team that already has better odds to win.

But as we know, sports can be crazy, and the game of Argentina vs Arabia was a big surprise for all. I'm sure an AI didn't see that outcome coming because real facts can't be predicted just by analyzing the past. Life is random, and sometimes the low odds hits.

Even though ChatGPT is popular, I would not give the decision to artificial intelligence. I better use my way of analyzing the team and choosing the team. Besides, I don't know if it's a good decision to use it or if it won't work well.

After all, this artificial intelligence still needs to be developed even better and while this artificial intelligence, we can still use the method as usual.

I've seen some videos about ChatGPT and I think it is one of the most advanced open to public AI that we can get for free right now. So many people are getting interested with it given that it can produce amazing results. I believe that sooner or later it would be improved and will be recreated to be focus on becoming a perfect tool in making money online. I'm speculating that it could be used on gambling and on trading where there are money involved and there will be a time that AI gambling prediction will be more accurate than human predictions. I haven't tried anything like this before but I think it is possible that someone will focus on creating an AI that is focus on gambling predictions and surely it will improve over the time as I'm expecting that the AI will have it's own self learning technology. We are headed in the future and ChatGPT is one of the living proof that we are near to it.

I do not believe that using an AI for prediction of gambling or sporting events is a good idea. Not only does it take away all the fun of gambling from you but it will not give you the result you are looking for. Why? Because there are too many variables and predicting an outcome is technically impossible. Even if you were to use an artificial intelligence.

And since when have we started thinking that our current, modern AI technology is anywhere near ready enough to compete with the human mind? Sure it can calculate faster but so can an ordinary windows 98 computer from the 90s. I am not satisfied enough with AI progress to trust it with my money.

I have never attempted to use it. But because it is AI, I initially voted yes. However, before I trust my regular bets, I want to first see the results of the prior users.

In general, AI is similar to a calculator that can quickly compute every piece of input information in detail. I believe that a lot more data would need to be filled out in order for the AI to make better calculations. Because the provided stats remain the foundation, there will be no assurances that the projections are accurate.

ChatGPT is still an infant compared to how AI predictions can be in the future. With the exponential increase in advancement of AI and technology altogether, I wouldn't be surprised if by sometime in the foreseeable future an AI that could perfectly or at least most of the time predict probabilities is to be made. This is primarily the reason why I for the moment wouldn't utilize it at least outside of fun and curiosity. AI grows in intelligence the more prompts it receive though, so the more people using it for these very reasons the more it will get better at predicting game outcomes. I think a thread that tracks it progress and advancements will do well to be made as we could be up to date on its baby steps and finally be part of its success when it finally becomes usable commercially.

I have never tried this and I am not sure if I would ever, anything is possible on sports, there can be so many unforseen circumstances in sports that can have a great impact on the outcome of the match, and this I don't think an artificial intelligence will be able to predict, so personally to me, I think leaving my gambling decisions up to an artificial intelligence is a crazy idea.

But on the other hand, like you said, we do need to see a past record of the sports the artificial intelligence predicted and the outcome of such sports, I believe that from this, we can learn how accurate the AI is able to predict the outcome of sports and I believe this can act as a strong determinant for gamblers to really decide if it's a good idea to leave gambling decisions to a bot.

No I don't think you need to create a thread about ChatGPT predictions in order to try to rate them, because ChatGPT can't do any accurate predictions for now. It can only talk about the past and the present for lasting things. But it can't even talk about current news and live informations. The reason for this is simple : its input datas are not newer than 2021.

Our default models' training data cuts off in 2021, so they may not have knowledge of current events.

I haven't heard of ChatGPT but based on my understanding it must be an AI software to predict the results of an event. While I am a fan of such technologies and love reading more about them, I won't use something like that for my betting because gambling is all about placing bets on your team and cheering for them. I have several times placed bets on games where I had a feeling I am making a mistake but I just want to support my team.

For sure these software must be taking data and predict the outcome more accurately than us humans who are just degens lol. It will be interesting to see how it develops and I will search about it as well.

And remember, there's a house edge on both casino and sports betting so the slght edge that the AI may have would be neutralized by that house edge.

If we talk about sports betting, I won't rely on any predictions generated by some AI-related stuff. Sports betting is not that easy to predict even with proper analysis and upsets mostly happened in a certain match. For sure, that AI will just look forward to the advantages of the Favorites and will not consider any upsets by the underdog as that's how it was supposed to be.

No way. I trust my own way of doing analysis in sports betting especially on the league that I have really knowledge with. It's not my habit to trust anyone or any sources when it comes to my bet. However, I'm open to reading those other analysis but still, the final bet will depend on my own factors.

Out of curiosity, I like to try that ChatGPT and maybe ask that chatbot a few questions regarding my future bets.

For all we know ChatGPT can be flooded with info that could be used against those asking for certain betting outcomes. While it may not be the case 100%, there is this possibility that it can be manipulated so nope, not going to rely my luck on some AI. ChatGPT doesn't know anything about current news. It would have to use old data, old stats and old player data from a year or so ago, so it wouldn't know how those teams are doing now. And it can't just browse internet to get stats to predict anything. Also it most likely won't take any resposibility of giving any financial advices and predicting a game could be interpreted as one. Because if he predicted anything that could be interpreted as financial advice, there would be most definitely be a lawsuit about it.

Maybe if it someday they open the code, someone can build their own supercomputer that includes latest data. That would be interesting.
