I would just bank on my previous post regarding my statement where I said I would use AI if it does get mature. Thing is, AI matures when more prompts and info is fed to it. So if people want AI to be useful to them, it is imperative that we use AI for things like these, so it can have time to be good at what we want it to be good at. Otherwise ChatGPT will just become a nifty tool we use for some activities and will not become the google killer some AI visionaries hoped it could be.

If it reaches that point then you can be sure that casinos will then use that same AI to counter any attempt from gamblers to profit from it, and this will be way easier for them as they have all the data they may want so they can feed an AI and produce very good models which could predict the outcomes and odds to give to each game.

So if anyone wants to do this the moment to try it is now as waiting any longer will make the possible use of an AI completely ineffective.

Most of the A.I. result are depends on how many articles and people opinions are predicting the winners, so this mean the A.I. result will be the favorite fighter or team. It's not surprising if people are bet on the favorite fighter or team because this bet has higher chance to win. But the thing is usually some matches end with upset and the odds if you bet on favorite fighter/team didn't cover your wrong bet. So if you think betting on favorite fighter or team will guarantee to make profit, you're wrong.

Yeah, I would use AI to help me with my betting strategy. While the AI software would gather all the available data for a specific bet and select the most probable outcome, I would take of the human part of the investigation and would certainly have a very positive outcome. Moreover, many Casinos already use AI to collect data about their users playing habits.

If I could, I would definitely use AI for sports betting predictions. Not because I think I would be winning all the time, but rather to try this new tool.

It would be definitely a profitable thing if AI could predict it correctly but you have to understand some stuff is not possible to do, is just random and that randomness can't be calculated in any bet. Martingale is a great example of that, you know what the chances are that you would hit loss 10 times in a row at a flip of a coin? It is miniscule, do you know what the chance are if you flip it 1 million times?

It's almost guaranteed it will happen at least once, probably more than 5 times. That is why the randomness prevents the AI to ever be right, it will tell you what "should" happen at best guess, but can't come close to what will actually happen.

I'll take my chances on my own instincts and analysis.
But if ever they will let it go public (of course without payment) then I might consider their choices and use it as a useful piece of information to heighten my chance of winning.
We know how sports can also be unpredictable a lot of times and I have a share of experience with it too. I've won betting for heavy underdogs and lost a lot trusting the favorites and yet until now I cannot say I am good at guessing which will win even after analysis.

I’m a little bit surprised that people aren’t interested in the possibility of having AI place bets for you on sporting events. I guess the current implementation of AI would probably just pick whoever had the best odds, but I’d like to think it’s possible for it to analyze individual matchups and make a more thought out prediction. I think it’s worth giving a try and I may do it at some point. Maybe I’ll post the results so people can see.

I don't think AIs are reliable when it comes to predictions. There are other ways for is to predict the results rather than relying on the programmed software. You can create your own analysis simply by searching about the capability of the players or reading comments from different platforms about sports analytics and fanatics. I've been just reading and getting ideas on this forum when it comes to sportsbetting and I find it more reliable.

Interesting question; I selected yes, but would like to elaborate on it. I wouldn't let it solely select my bets, instead I'm use it for research. Since, asking them how many times has x scored a knockdown in the first round, isn't something that's easily found out quickly. If the AI can gather that information for me, and give me that information that might sway me from time to time on bets.

That's just one example, but I can think of a few where something like this might actually aid users in making bets. After all, letting them select the bet isn't going to make it much better. Since, its based on information already out there. It could be good for analysis like I've mentioned.

Try it and you would be finding for yourself whether it would be worth or not, but if you do try out to read up all the opinions and words from forum members which its never that something been recommendable.
There are things which AI couldnt able to make out some judgment specially if it do really involves some emotional aspect.Come to think that AI is made by humans which it is really just that needing
to be enhanced or upgrade even more on making its library to be more vast and much bigger which it could be able to answer up everything on what you do throw on it.
Predicting outcomes on those gambling games and trying out to rely on AI is never been that ideal.

There's still no study on how accurate AI's prediction rate but many industries rely on and got help from these AI's so why not the sporting industries, in fact, it is already welcomed by bookmarkers I quoted this article

This is my first time coming across such ideas and I personally don't think it will be easy to use AI in making predictions for a match bet.
There are alot of factors that is actually out into consideration while making a bet and also there are also consideration used by bet sites used to access the odd of a match.
I don't think it will easy using an AI to make predictions but hopefully in the future when all these factors are been balanced and analysized properly will AI be considered.
I would still prefer to do my analysis myself and make my bets too myself.
I would love to see and test this AI myself and will be glad if I can get a link to it.

I tried the beta version of ChatGPT to assist me in predicting a match between two club, the output it gave was that there isn't enough information to be able to predict that match accurately, I think there are more information needed to be feed into the ChatGPT for it to work effectively and efficiently, though I prefer to do a personal analysis in predicting the likely outcome of a match thereafter use ChatGPT for a confirmation purposes provided that it will analyze all the information I provided to it accurately, if the two outcomes my own analysis and that of the ChatGPT tallied then I will say it worth trying out the AI.

It's definitely a unique idea, but as you've said, I think it's better for AIs to develop itself, to the point where their predictions aren't only a collation of data and identifying the better option out of the two (which kind of paints it as a yes/no question, isn't exactly wrong but I reckon there's still something more possible out of it), but also some bias that comes from say, it's development throughout its creation (I mean it has to have some if we're going to talk about AI right?).

In the end it is just going to be another prediction. Just because the AI makes it, it doesn't mean that it is going to be right all the time. I'd say it's an option to take as a basis, but still wouldn't be a guarantee since there are a lot of random factors involved in a match. If it was that straightforward then simulations would've probably dominated betting scenes. They might actually just be useful to rate the players instead of the match itself really, and make a prediction by yourself through that instead.
