for me this topic has a lot to do with people's desire of generating passive income without a lot of work
it may or may not work
I think AI will be more useful in other areas and automations than in betting but we will see.

chances of work or not are 50:50 so some say it works and the rest don't. I rather agree with you that AI might be more effective when used in other things like casino chatrooms or helping customer service effectiveness.

I don't know if AI will be able to generate passive income without much work for people because we still don't know what the future of AI will be like. Maybe AI can work as well as we expect in the future but that certainly requires a lot of work from the developers. Besides that, much coding is still needed to use AI properly to get more valid information. Of course, it also requires a lot of experimentation before such technology is released to the public.

Yeah, there are lots of experimentations a trial and error to test if how good and accurate AI can be, though in gambling accuracy is something that we really can't measure, the influences of many factors can change the directions of the possible outcome, AI may recommend something according to how he assess the players or the teams but there are instances like injuries and inside game rules
that might be broken.

So the outcome may not be the expected since AI provides data according to how he assesses the game before it started.

If AI could obtain historical data from all teams, AI would know which players from the team had experienced injuries and could calculate the appearance percentage of each player. That will give us clues in determining the team we will bet on. Apart from that, we can find out other things through data collected by the AI, which will be additional information for us in choosing a team. The developers need to do this experiment, and maybe a few people will be brought in to help with the testing.

ChatGPT is all the rage at the moment. I’ve seen that people are asking it to predict sporting events. Would you leave gambling decisions up to artificial intelligence? Do you see any potential drawbacks for outsourcing your bets to a software program? Has anyone here tried this yet? I once made a conversation on ChatGPT and I asked who was going to win between Islam Makhachev VS Alex Pereira, because why not I am really curious about who's really going to win, and this is the exact answer the AI said to me,

It is very true, looking at it from the point of view of honesty, things are like that, I do not doubt that the AI are good and that they bring us development, maybe they will bring something better to use some tools, if you program and an AI crashes you It can help and even give a better solution, and that is not bad, but in the predictions I think that is not yet developed, it has to happen and reprogram events through which the same AI creates many Mathematical models that coincide with what happened, As far as I am concerned,the best thing for now is not to believe much in the AI, neither detectors nor accusations for now, it is very easy to do it, but the AI is not Optimized and I think that there is a long way to go,when an AI is complete that does not fit the less doubt than if they will Make predictions with a high Margin of effectiveness.

You are absolutely right, many people are even afraid of dealing with AI, because they have so much potential that it is scary, but this is something normal, I don't see it as a bad thing, personally I would think that in some 1 or 2 years the AI it will be much more advanced, and that will provide much more tools for some things, it is logical that some will use it for lotteries,casinos, among others, there must be some limitations to avoid this type of thing, what I can say is that the Casinos must acquire a lot of security via AI, it is imperative that it be done.

I agree with you, it's more fun, innit, to use your own mind when making your bets. I can imagine how boring it can become to use AI all the time, especially when everyone will be using it and hence the outcome odds will be decreased to something like 1.02. I  think it will be fun in the early stages, though. During the first couple of month when AI is possible to use for sports betting, it'll be fun, imo.

maybe every gambler will simultaneously try to predict using AI when the AI hype is currently underway and those who try to predict use AI because they want to get experience from something different that has never been experienced in gambling. however, eventually boredom will set in when overusing the AI and even worse when the AI's predictions are imprecise and eventually decide to make their own predictions.
until now, most gamblers still doubt AI and some are skeptical about the results shown by AI. but in essence it will be more interesting and feel curious and feel satisfied when making prediction decisions by yourself.

If AI is going go predict gambling outcome it will be about sports games like football and the prediction will be based on data that the AI can gather, AI is not a kind of human made god that can read the future, to me there is nothing in this world that can see the future, and if all you have to say is the word prediction then it's PREDICTION, and prediction is still uncertainty, a gamble on what may work out the way we wanted or not. 

All I know is AI will be formulated to the will of humans, which means it will be limited and not given enough power like some people hoped for, the truth is the higher the capability of AI the more dangerous it will get, some noticeable people around the world are already going against it. I think when people think about AI they never put outsider effects into consideration. AI can obviously predict outcome of match through stats it can gather, but can it take a guess there will be earthquake that will cancel match? No. AI is capable of predicting measurable things at max level - or it will be capable of. But it cannot become all knowing God. I am actually very curious about AI usage in live sports betting. Think about AI getting direct stats from live football match. I am sure it can pick underperforming players to be replaced. Or it can guess chance of one side scoring etc.

One of the things people do not seem aware is that just as we can learn completely different skills, despite the fact that each one of us has a functioning brain, the same is true for an AI.

The algorithm behind different AIs can be the same but if you give to it a different set of data then it will be able to perform different functions, so even if ChatGPT is the newest and most popular function that an AI can perform, there are many other things they can do that could be as important, like recommendation systems, self-driving cars and more.

I follow you with your statement as we all see how AI works and how it's been utilize by people who understand the program well, not entitled to focus to gambling but the chance of getting some good hints is also possible, I'm pretty sure that some of the gamblers are already trying to look for some sort of ideas on how they can use AI to help them to analyze and get some good analysis for them to sort and follow if they think it will be helpful to them.

We are all in the sense that we wanted to see if there's some extra edge when we try using programs that have that capabilities to provide something to easy our assessment.

Honestly I used chatgpt once to study my courses. Its answers were sometimes wrong but overall wording was very believable. I am worried with fake news in future as well. I think this can manipulate gambling too like, people with bad intentions may initially develop chat bots that will give you stupid/wrong suggestions. Just like bots we see in trading. But I am sure ai like chatgpt will be developed to gather data to guess about sports betting.

Unfortunately those sources are not to be trusted either, while it is very difficult for a news agency to remain impartial and neutral, the truth is that most of them do not even try anymore and everything they report has a very strong bias, and this has caused people to stop trusting them.

Yes, following AI's recommendations blindly isn't a good way to go. We should apply corrections from our side, if we feel we need to. But it is possible, imo, is that we'll see that more often than not we are losing exactly because of those corrections. I'm not saying it will necessarily be like that, but it's possible, in my opinion. Anyway, it's not like that yet. Only time will tell.

That's something doable in my opinion as well, we can't measure the potential as there are smart people who really working behind and trying to make a good use of AI system, we can only imagine how wide the capabilities if in case that it really developed the way it's intentionally been done, though I also believe that in gambling industry, there are always good ways for the casino to improve and adjust and for sure they will not let AI bankrupt them.

A big possibility is that they will also create or program their business by the use of AI system to counter the advantages or possible edge from their end users.

It seems to me that it is unlikely that any individual programmer is able to get ahead of the average level of progress in the industry. I proceed from the assumption that if he is so brilliant, then he will not deal with such trifles (and such niches are actually considered marginal - like the club of perpetual motion inventors) but will find application in more serious projects.

In my opinion, as long as there are fixed matches in sports, no matter how cool the AI is, it, like any good analyst, will make mistakes for reasons beyond its control. AI can achieve great results in forecasting, but only if the human factor will be excluded from the sport, for example soccer will be played by robots. But it seems to me that it won't be as interesting as a match with real players. But I am interested to see the statistics of AI predictions.
