Spooky Porfirii, it's really an amazing piece you've got there. I wish we've got pumpkins in my own side of the country. The kind of pumpkins we have in Nigeria is far different from yours and I would have loved to participate in one of those pumpkin carving contests..

It's still in progress from my end (finished around 30-35%) and we already got another update? Lol, I guess I have been resting too much due to my sickness. I'll have to get back to my work asap!

Thank you and Porfirii for the reminder, I just updated Croatian translation with new statistics and checked and revised all other updates.

So at this moment Croatian translation is up to date with newest Talkimg post.

Hey Hatchy! I don't know how much sending a pumpkin to Nigeria can cost, but we can take a look into it, if you wish, so you can participate in next year's contest.

You know, just a random black cat who came into my life and makes it a little happier, while messing around all day

Dear AoBTers,

Friendly reminder that, in the Bitcoin Pumpkin Carving Contest 2025, VOTING IS NOW LIVE!!! (until Nov 18).

Please, update your translations/threads accordingly.

We get to be their bestfriend for only a few years. But for them, we are their best friend for their entire life. Man, I miss my Simba! I can still feel him right beside me, biting my hand.

Can you be more specific on what exactly was changed? It helps greatly! Thanks...

By "translations/threads accordingly" I meant that you can do it as you wish. In my case I have added in the local OP the VOTING IS LIVE sentence with the link like in the original post, and written a post in the local thread for greater awareness, but you can translate the author's post, only change your local OP, post in your local thread, or the way you prefer.

I miss my old friend too, and although nothing can replace them, a new friend usually helps...

Ahh got it. If that's the case I'll just make a short announcement/reminder that the voting is live and users can now vote their fav design (Making another translation seems unnecessary to me).

Later Edit:

Hey Porf, it's done. I have made an unofficial announcement, with a short summery and rules related to the voting process as well as redirection links to the ANN page and Voting page. I hope that's enough to encourage local users to vote.
It looks like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=631891.msg66048546#msg66048546

After he passed away, I just couldn't bring myself to get another one. The pain of loosing was too much for me, and I never found the courage to go through that again.

Guys, what do you think about this topic: My Personal List of Free Bitcoin Tools Every New User Should Use.

It is from a member, Dareo, who has very little activity for now in the forum, but I think that his recommendations are quite correct and could be helpful for other newbies if we share them, after he improves it a little bit.

Apart from that, feel free to post other topics worth sharing!!

In my opinion, this is an excellent and VERSATILE selection of tools that will be useful for any beginner to simply appreciate the breadth of possibilities offered by the crypto world! This selection partially overlaps with some other topics, such as “List of useful Bitcoin block explorers,” but it looks like a “multitool for a beginner crypto enthusiast”
In short, I am in favor of including this topic in the list for future translations!

Hey Porfirii!
I also agree with DrBeer. Even though Dareo has low activity on the forum, I think this is more than useful for beginners, and we could include this topic for translation. So, I’m in favor! By the way. I’m working on two translations that are missing for Serbian and Croatian, and as soon as I publish them I’ll share them here so you can add them to the list. I hope I’ll finish them by next week, because I’m overloaded with obligations these days.

[cygan]

after what felt like weeks and months, the very complicated topic of Everything you wanted to know about BTC options but were afraid to ask! created by fillippone has now been translated into german and can be found here:

BTC Optionen: alles was Du wissen wolltest, aber nicht zu fragen wagtest!

I congratulate you for this translation, cygan! It's a very long topic and I was wondering if anyone else will translate it, seeing that since the topic was listed, we managed to do only one translation for it... I was more concerned, in fapt, looking also that it was added on 27 Sept on our list and only 1 translation was made until today, when the second one came...

Let's hope 4 more AOBTers will find courage to translate this topic too

It seems that the OP needs to make some corrections. I'm keeping an eye on it, but let's wait for the corrections before adding it to our list because otherwise we'll have to edit it soon, and that would mean working twice.

Congrats cygan!! Translation added.

After Husna QA's monster topic, this is the second most difficult translation we have listed, and like in Husna's case, there is no rush at all.

I will definitely translate it when I finish a couple of other translations that I must finish before, and I'm sure that with time other AOBTers will find the time and courage to do it too

At least it's not Husna's Monster topic, GB will probably understand what I meant!

[Porfirii]

Dear Sirs

Since we only have the monster topic in progress, and considering that the last short topic I proposed to translate is still a work in progress, I would like to propose this very interesting, yet quite short topic by Gazeta, so we don't slow down our activity too much.

What do you think? If nobody says the contrary, I'll add it to the list of ongoing translation this very weekend, ok?

Keep up the good work!

Hey Porf!

I’ve read it, it’s a very interesting topic and I think you should add it to the translation list. Since @paco92x has always translated Gazeta’s topics into Croatian, I’ll leave that to him if he wants to do it. I can do the translation into Serbian, and I also have another Gazeta translation ready in Serbian. I didn’t want to post it because of some earlier misunderstandings and generally due to my own carelessness. Now, if Gazeta gives the "green light " I will post it , if not, I will understand the situation
