Just for the record, I never wrote, they are scammers, I just asked that and asked for explanation. It was natural question and still is after such huge dump. Also in cryptoworld it is natural to expect scam at first place. Now you are telling I am the one manipulating the market and attacking me personally without any evidence. I am only one trying to investigate here to find out what happened and to gather facts. Without that withdrawal of 1 billion KARM 6 minutes after dump and 30 minutes before end of August there was no other proof to believe there was not insider trading.

this screen capture was taking back in july I think.. (maybe early aug)

soon after I reported it on this forum they moved their hash to another pool before I could get a screen capture of them actively mining...
luckily I was able to get a screen capture of their mining address and if you look at the "predicted payout" field and the mining graph you can clearly see that they did have a huge amount of mining hash working on that address. They had 10 times more hash than the next highest guy on that pool.

There is only 2 million KARM mined on that address: http://explorer.karmacoin.me/address/KMycgRefbysoTDRKe9EvmTSXNBntzHRRCk  But he could have been mining on another, when he switched. When Karm was created, there were 1 milllion KARM block rewards, it was easy to mine billions of KARM with such mining power.

Socoban, I'm against you pointing fingers at Karma Team too quick without any evidences. That can be considered as FUD and can easily hurt the trust in this coin and it was very wrong coming from members like you.  Take some more time and analyse more before pointing fingers at some one. Look at how this turned out to be in your own words,

Anyway, here is my opinion what happened. If there was really someone mining KARM few months ago with 95 MGH, than he definitely mined billions of KARM, since reward was huge those days. He was dumping it until KARM started to grow. Than he was waiting and dumping very slowly because he hoped for bigger profit. Since Kosmost announced  1. september as a day when KARM will skyrocket or dump, he decide to split his investment probably into half. He did not know what will be an announcement, so he dumped some of his coins to take sure profit before potential dump will occur and than he withdrew rest into his cold wallet, just 30 minutes left before end of august.

    

Ok, socoban was panicking but please dont forget that he did alot for Karma and is one of the most valuable members. He gave us the new block explorer and spend many hours in putting it together and patiently helped me to maintain it. He was burned from scams (like probably everybody here. My personal scam was coino omg) and got nervous. I can understand this.

I cannot promise that we will suceed with Karma. What I can promise is that we honestly try to work together here. And if there is no sell of lill today and if the price might tank we will be still here and we will have lill to work on. Dont forget that. That is, either we get the biggest capital injection/payout in altcoin history or we will have a very valuable concept/project we can focus on in the months comming ahead. Again, I have no information on what it will be! However, Karma will stay.

Inside traders trade with care. They would not dump coins to get 10x less for the same amount they could get by subtle selling. If it was inside trading you would not have noticed it.

lets say for arguments sake that we get some bad news today.. that would mean that they only had 1 day to act.. so if it was insider trading they would have had to dump quickly..
you can't be subtle when you only have one day and the volume is so low.

of course we wont know for sure until an announcement is made.

if the news is good news then it wont have been insider trading.
if the news is very bad then this will make the case for insider trading so much stronger.

so we just have to wait...

But is the not selling if lill.com bad news? Doesnit effect the goal of the coin? In my opinion, not at all, so the not selling would be no news. And if there would be a dump because of the not selling of lill.com, why would the price plunge to 10 litoshi? It was 150, it would go to 70 in an extreme case.
So my final conclusion, this wasnt inside trading in any way, even if lill.com is not sold, i will not dump on the flow down. I lost enough money selling on bad news with other coins and karma has a team that will fix whatever happens.

Assuming kosmost is in the united states, if he would be on the east coast he would be waking up now (6.30 am) on the west coast it could even be 3.30!! Am. So in 3 or 4 hours we will know i assume

ok then it was worth a shot... and yeah they could have changed addresses as soon as they knew I was onto them lol.
as for early adopters dumping.. the guy that started karma left in the first or second month.. in all likelihood he dumped all his coins back then since nobody has heard from him since.
a lot of bag holders left when karma tanked to 18 litoshi the first time some time back in april/may I think.

the rest of the people who believed in Karma and stuck with it through thick and thin would not be stupid enough to dump now without any news.
if I had that many karma I would have dumped when it was in the 300-400 litoshi range there is now way that you could convince me to dump down to 14 litoshi even if Karmashares collapsed completely.

maybe it was just KarmaSanta giving us poor investors some cheap coins for an early Christmas..

Because of the dump some lucky guy bought close to 300 million Karma for a total of 40 LTC...lol

the failure to sell lil.com is not really bad news.. and your right it doesn't affect the long term goals of Karma.
as for why the price would go so low.. that has more to do with lack of liquidity than it does dire news.

low volume means that a relatively small number of coins can cause the price to rise or fall dramatically so the news doesn't have to be terrible to cause the price to tank.. it just has to cause one medium sized holder to dump all their coins.

Right now, KARM price is somewhere between 30 litoshi and 1000 litoshi, based on the announcement. If it is bad news, prepare for bigger sell orders at sup 100 litoshi and very low buy orders. This would take weeks to recover, but it will recover because mining reward will be reduced from 35.000 to 20.000 per block in 1 hour. Current miners will definitely not dump at that price, just panic sellers and early adopters.

you are assuming two things..

1) that kosmost is the only guy that knows if a deal went through or not.
and 2) that he would not tell anyone.

as for point one.. it takes two parties to make a deal... whats to say that the people making the offer didn't tell their friends?
as for point two.. how well can you really know anyone who you have never met?

I don't know about you but I certainly do not trust anyone 100%, not even the people I know in real life.
therefore it would be unwise to rule out insider trading until we get more information.

I am not saying that it is insider trading.. but at the same time I can't say that it isn't insider trading either.

I'm not making any assumptions at all.. just speculating and helping other people with their speculation lolz.

+1 Socoban has been a huge help.  Thanks for helping get us a new explorer and for the detective work!  We are all as curious as everyone else.  As KarmaKaguy said we are all in the dark about any sale of Lill.com too.

Thanks to East about already changing this info on OP and coinwiki. Coinwarz is notified. I didn`t saw anywhere else block reward info, but if somebody have 20-30 minutes, it would be good if another pair of eyes cycle all relevant to Karma sites.

About the price fluctuations - I didn`t found any good reasons why are you all paying so much attention on this speculations, mistakes (what I think it was), hacks or whatever. This will be always part of crypto. Calm down and enjoy the ride.
