This needs a relaunch, IMHO
All you can do is solo mine, I have been solo mining for a few days now with all these wallet issues. I have a decent amount.
The problem is there are no pools, so if you are able to solo mine and it isnt that hard, but the wallet has been an issue for most people that have all missed out and now the difficulty is just too insane for small miners.
As I said, i been solo mining for a few days and have a decent amount but feel like Ive cheated whilst people waited for a new wallet and didnt keep pushing their existing wallets to open to sync then mine. Lord knows it took me at least half a day to get the wallet to work/sync then mine. Reboot machine and having to reconfigure the fickle wallet back up to solo mine.
Thats just my thoughts on the matter. Not trolling, or attacking anyone.
Unless someone has a working DMD pool ?
to stop any speculations network will stay running every minute u solo mine u dont waste meanwhile we do our best to help pools get this going

WayForward, can you give us a number of coins mined per 1Mh/s every hour?
TIA
i mined 6 DMD in last 8 hours with 60 mhash (3x amd290 6x amd280) so u can see diamonds are very valuable and rare

No wonder alot of people are trying to solomine DMD. Less energy and less heat, more profit. Good decision for moving to groestl. Congrat! DMD network will become more stable. I don't think it will explode soon in term of price, but rather stable and grow like DRK. The fun comes when ASIC scrypt is everywhere and GPU miners move to another algo.

The result is pretty much luck based. Also for solo mining, card own hash rate matter more than how many hash you have. You can have 7mh or 1x7970 but would still get more block than people with 10x 270 ~ 20mh.

This highly suggests that we're dealing with a sync issue with the new blockchain. As long as there was old blockchain data to sync, the client was able to start up. After block 386228, that changes.
There are no sync issues, please redownload the chain or use the one supplied in the First Post. Please use the latest wallet-qt client 2.0.1. There's nothing special at 386228 block.

which pool work?
There aren't any pools at the moment, it's work in progress. It's Sunday today and some experienced pool owners who pledged to make one for Diamond are busy but should come up with something soon. Do solo mining instead for the time being.

Or what comes after it? Or how things are handled after it? It certainly marked a "before and after" in my testing. Don't take the test results personal. Bugs happen. As you might imagine, I'm anxiously looking forward to the version's "What's Fixed".

If bitcoinmining riggs could buy miningriggs with bitcoin by themselves wouldnt that be asexual reproduction ? So wouldnt that make BTC a lifeform ?

So before and after the fork the Block Chain is structured in the same way, so it just continues regardless of the algo. before up to block 386226: scrypt after the block 386227: Grøstl It takes a bit of time to get over that block but after it does, it syncs as normal.

Sorry about that confusion but we were making so many changes recently and had a bit of lag with updating the main post sometimes with the latest links displayed in the newest post (at that time). The first post has been already updated.
