So, Stratum is sorted.

Pushpool is working.

There should be other variations of the mining pools soon it catches up, accommodating all the needs of small and big miners.

FYI I'll start purging this forum of posts that are redundant (errors reports related to the old code, FUD, trolly whining or anything I find unhelpful, not related specifically to the topic, offensive, etc.)

If you don't agree with this practice, tough, go some other place.

Source code fixes to sph-sgminer published at https://github.com/danbi/sph-sgminer.

Hope to have it soon merged with the main branch. You can compile your own version. Let's hope someone does it for Windows users.
not working for me... on a R9 290x, started since 5 minutes didn't see any share yet.
May-be you should adjust the difficulty (not everybody has 6x 290x or things like that)

diff 16 is pretty high, you are > 21Mh/s and not getting accepts, im only 3 Mh/s

anyway, im now using the modified sph-miner (tnx danbi), it works fine on both getwork and stratum ports
im mining on the getwork port though since the diff there is more acceptable for my puny miner

by the way, the modified danbi/sphsgminer uses the kernel "diamond"
? The R9 is getting something like 10MHash/s (I am getting around 21MHash on longpoll... not on stratum).
Yes 16 difficult is way too high (network diff is only 28 at the moment... so 16... (assuming it is the same kind of diff)) is not really attractive)

working now on stratum, i forgot to set "difficulty-multiplier" : "0.00390625",

Ignore 3333. That was for the old scrypt pool. Follow the instructions at the top of the pool page.

Port 3333 works now with groestl, but with a fixed miner, that has the diamond mining kernel. Fixes, at least for sph-sgminer will be available now. Ubuntu 14.4 binary is also available.

But pushpool functions just as well now, and runs on port 3345. It is compatible with any groestlcoin miner, in fact with all miners capable of solo mining Diamond.

I've been solo mining DMD just fine. so if I understand well I should be able to mine in the pool. However all my shares are rejected.

In order to mine with your current miner, just change your -o option to http://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3345 and obviously your username and password. That's all you need to do to change from solo mining.

Don't use stratum+tcp://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3333 until you have updated your miner with one that supports Diamond. All shares will be rejected.

Thanks danbi for the pool. Finally. I confirmed both getwork @ port 3345 and stratum @ port 3333 works, but with getwork I got a lot of rejections (>35%).
I will stick with solo for a while then. Thanks anyway, danbi. You're great contributor for the DMD community.

How is it that the Cryptsy wallet is still no worky?

Could people stop asking this question over and over again, please . What is the point, who do you think will answer this question?

It has already been stated that Cryptsy is a normal company that works week days form 9-5 they are not going to do any work on Saturday or Sunday.

As soon as it's unfrozen you can bet you will be informed.

Come on gang. Danbi's put a lot of time and effort into getting his pool up and running, and by looking at the big hashers on the stats board who are not donating, I'd say that he's not getting much gratitude.

And he's not even applying fees!

Aren't we different from the rest?

Come on, show your gratitude by being generous, and DONATE !!!!

Danbi is a great man, and keeping fees at 0% was a part of an arrangement.

What community could do is to spread some positive news around as this would be way more beneficial to the coin and would make every Diamond lover happy, including Danbi.

Just a note: discovered that the pool confirmations were set at 60 blocks but the current wallet confirms blocks at 180 confirmations. So I decided to update it. The new setting sort of confused MPOS and it will take some time to clear up -- do not be surprised if large payout suddenly "does not work". It will.

EDIT: the pool has already passed 1 Ghash/s, wow! Do not worry, the server is barely noticing the load.

did you made changes in stratum code or only in miner ?

I gave up on ahmed's stratum-mining, which I was using previously and switched to NOMP. When used in MPOS compatible mode, it functions just as stratum server and includes support for groestl. I did a lot of modifications there, in attempts to make stratum mining work, but, at the end it turned out it does not need any changes.

The pushpool server however had to be modified in order to include support for groestl. I will try to find some time to publish the modifications, although they are trivial.

Yeah, I figured that's what happened when I saw a good part of my confirmed balance go unconfirmed.  Cheesy

The web interface is working perfectly now. Everything's refreshing correctly, the dashboard is streaming, and the three little beeps with each new block found are even coming through loud and clear!

Currently about 2/3 the network hashrate though - so if there's any 51% attack, just remember, we know where you live.  Grin

The previous Diamond wallet had block confirmation requirement of 60 blocks, so this was how the pool was set up. The new wallet requires 180 confirmations. The pool needs to obey this, as blocks with age under 180 can turn into orphans at any moment (although with this single pool hashing more than half of the network this is surely not possible right now).

So you need to wait 180 blocks for your earnings to mature and you can withdraw.

During the confirmation window switch, a nasty bug was discovered (will be addressed soon, patched for now) that resulted in about 10,000 blocks being unconfirmed and thus the pool refusing payouts. Even if this was for a short moment, you may have observed it. It is ok now.
