I think Aeon is such a project. Not 100% sure but I think so. Haven't really looked into it. I don't see the value proposition in copy coins.

This is the thread we use for these questions. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=753252.0And it did in the past so why wouldn't it in the future? Hello Monero community!

Here is a list but I have not clue if it gets updated. https://cryptonote.org/coinsBeware, I just checked the site more closely and it looks like it's run by the Bytecoin Scammers so don't use those links as they are directed the a revisionist history. but the list is pretty valid. funny the thing that tipped me off is that they list their Scamcoin first instead of AEON. LOL

Don't know anything about XVG but from what I understand DeepOnion just adds onion routing to the wallet software. The same thing could be done with a tor wrapper to any crypto-currency. The blockchain is visable to all. So even if you are hiding your network activity you can still be compromised through blockchain analysis. Monero doesn't provide network level security at this time. It is in development. But there are instructions for running monero over tor which makes it equivalent to DeepOnion in that respect. But monero has the added, and very critical, advantage of having an opaque blockchain. It is more or less impossible to determine anything from the monero blockchain except that no one has double spent. Which is the only thing you really want your blockchain to do anyway. Unless its something like eithereum with smart contracts or something.

So I met a Guy at the Casino that had a Romero T-shirt on and I asked him if it was in reference to Monero and he said no but that he does in fact own Monero's and then after the hand he picked up his chips and left without saying a word.
That was really weird.
If the person that was is reading this go ahead and PM me.

Tax reporting could be difficult. (Some might argue this the point of Monero) Yup the argument is of course you are provided view keys for any transactions you want to share with any entity. So even though XMR is 100% fungible it is also easy to prove your transactions. Governments are slowly having to make a choice whether they embrace Cryptocurrencies or fight to ban and push them underground.
Monero could come under attack as Governments look to falsely lay blame for enabling "Terrorists, and drug dealers" (the USD could also be blamed for this)
This was already the case with BTC so why worry about it being the possible case with Monero? We all know Fiat has been bused to fund some of the worst atrocities in the history of mankind. I agree with all else so this is a great rudimentary analysis IMO. I read the posts carefully, and found that xmr support dpos, my question is how to become a node and what is the profit?
Where did you read this?

POLO announces that Legacy accounts to be closed. I guess they found out I'm not coming back! Lol https://poloniex.com/press-releases/2017.12.27-Notice-to-legacy-account-holders/As with any change, we understand you may have concerns about how this requirement impacts you and the consequences of not meeting this verification deadline. Here are further details on what to expect.
On the date of the deadline, legacy accounts will be placed in a state where:
Trading and lending will be disabled; Open orders will be closed; Loans will have auto-renew switched off; Margin positions will be given an 8 week wind-down period where they can only be diminished or closed. After the 8 week wind-down period, they will be closed; Deposit addresses will be revoked. Any deposits sent to a revoked address will not be recoverable until the account is fully verified; Withdrawals will remain enabled at the daily withdrawal limits prior to the deadline.
If at any point you verify your legacy account, full functionality will be restored and your daily withdrawal limit will be increased to $25K USD equivalent. So what exchanges do you guys recommend without KYC?

You only need payment ID when you send to exchanges/retailers/services and they'll generate it for you. When you withdraw to your own wallet you don't need any payment ID.
