With Cryptsi, any wallet/node of 1000 or more coins is equal for purposes of forging. Thus XCR can be purchased and traded without fear of losing forging income.
This is only fantasy, there is no proof. Yes, with 1000XCR Ctypti client will show you that you are "forging", but without published and checked math of forging algo you cannot determine your chance to forge a block BTW, how much 1000 coins help you forge right now? At this EXACT MOMENT IN TIME you can only forge with the foundation node on the web site. But as soon as the new wallet/node is released, you will have the same chance at a forge as any other node. The blockchain shows you which node forged a block. Individual users will not be able to forge until we release the Linux / Windows wallets. I will have an update on this shortly I hope. Right now, the exchange and foundation nodes are the ones forging. Which BTW, all funds forged over this period since we came up will be added to the faucet once we get everything released and have a chance to sit down and look at the numbers.

Is there a newer version than 0.1.6c? As far as I can tell that's the same one that has been out.

Windows or Linux? There were several changes to the Windows c version without renaming it. Now it is obsolete and will not work. Linux ~informer

I love how you come here to troll but then still don't understand how our system works after a month of trolling. How about you take 5 minutes to read up. Everyone was forging previously and could see how the network was forging. Right now you could go take the nodes running and monitor them over a period of time, see which ones are forging, do some simple analysis and get your answer.
There is nothing to understand. No algo, no code. Read what? Your unproven declarations? And believe you without any possibility to check? How now i can connect to running nodes and monitor them? How can i know which node forged a block? What "simple" analysis can be made without knowing this answers?

I'm not sure if this is a planned strategy to try to scare people away and back to NXT (which you are heavily into), or if you are just literally that clueless. For reference, you can log into the web wallet right now and see who is forging every block as well as that the network is running. I know you understand how it works because NXT uses a brain wallet as well, so I tend to think this is a concerted effort.

Are you both joking? You are suggesting me to trust some third party site - crypti.me - which can display whatever numbers it wants. Crypto doesnt work the way you are suggesting. It is a great pity that cryptodevs do not understand this. Only correct answer is synchronized blockchain on my pc. the green highlighted text is the same node that forged two blocks.
How do i know that all 4 blocks were not forged on one node?

how can I forge this? Downloadable versions seem to be outdated / not working.
The node programing was rewritten to remove bugs as outlined by GreXX on page 393. New wallet/nodes will be ready for download as soon as testing is complete, which should be shortly. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654463.msg9048899#msg9048899

can you securely forge in web wallet?
The term "WALLET" is not correct for a node coin like XCR. Here is an explanation from the devs:
Wallet- the UI for the node
Node- a connecting point in the crypti network
Sync- the node getting info from the other nodes and adding it to the blockchain.db
Loading- the node retrieving the info from the blockchain.db
Downloading- is like syncing but done separate from the node, Download can happen with out node running.. Sync needs the node running...
So the windows wallet is a packaged launch... It launches and starts the node and also launches the wallet... Same with closing the wallet... It closes both the node and wallet... So everytime you open the wallet it must load... This is because it also launches the node... And everytime the node is launched it must load (retrieve info from blockchain.db) unless you don't have a blockchain.db file... Then launching the wallet/node... Will let you go in to the UI (wallet) and watch it sync... You can also watch the wallet sync if you don't have all the whole up to date blockchain.db... So if you only have half the blockchain.db file you will watch the wallet/node load the half you already have... Then you can log in and watch it sync the rest... I hope this helps clear things up.....
You cannot place your XCR in cold storage on a SD card, they will always exist in the blockchain.
That may sound bad, but with Cryptsy, all transactions are verified and known. There are no anonymous transactions. If coins were stolen, they can be traced thru the blockchain. Your security is your password, make it long and prosper.
