http://blog.nem.io/overview/I think this text is wrong. "What is NEM? NEM is a peer-to-peer crypto platform. It is written in Java and JavaScript with 100% original source code. NEM has a stated goal of a wide distribution model and has introduced new features in blockchain technology in its proof-of-importance (POI) algorithm. NEM also features an integrated P2P secure and encrypted messaging system, multisignature accounts and an Eigentrust++ reputation system. NEM has gone through extensive open alpha testing starting June 25, 2014, followed by lengthy and comprehensive beta testing starting on October 20, 2014. NEM finally launched on May 31, 2015." It says it launched on May 31, 2015 That date is definitely wrong!

I think the lack of anything from the devs is affecting the price. A team of "70" should have produced the white paper and then some by now.

You are right. something in NEM is no longer right, and people notice it. Marketing does not exist

Yes. Even the "late stakes" aren't delivered. It's annoying. There is no transparency. Only a note in the trollbox from makoto that they delivered 22 stakes one week ago (no proof at all). They are harvesting with our stakes and get richer and richer, while we have to buy.
I would not be concerned with the very very little they would earn from harvesting. The last 7 I harvested were all 0. I make about 100 xem a day. Not even worth mentioning.

They are harvesting with a minimum of 202,500,000 XEM (90 late stakes) at the moment, plus the XEM they own themselves.
so they may be getting 2500 or so xem a day really is not worth anything.

only another 79 votes required to reach #1 on voting! This will be big for NEM if XEM is the chosen currency!

Let's get these stakes sent out guys. It is not good having people who were wrongly accused, and found to be ok, wait so much longer to get their stakes. It is important that we make it a priority to give these guys what's theirs. I understand that people are busy, and that coordination is required to send these stakes out. But it has been many weeks, and 22 sent out a week ago just doesn't seem fair. It's almost everyday that these people are asking and it looks unprofessional. The NEM devs have conducted themselves like true pros with everything else, and this is one thing that sets NEM apart, so lets keep up this high standard and take care of these guys. Many of them are loyal supporters, so let's show them what their support means to the leaders of NEM. It's time IMHO. At the same time, accusing the devs of keeping the stakes to harvest NEM is ridiculous!! I know you should have received your stake by now, but let's not accuse the devs of something so silly. They are busy making NEM better, and I would hope ALL the stakes will be sent out soon.

Agree 100%. A good start would be, to make a list of these 70 team members with their BTT-nick, their field of work and a contact-mail like " johndoe@nem.io" and a list of e-mails to contact each field of work like ' marketing@nem.io', ' press@nem.io', ' techsupport@nem.io' or what ever these fields of work are. This list has to be on NEM.io - that would be professional. Agreed I mean shit its been over a month with 70 people doing one thing a white paper and its still not out? It doesnt make sense.

They don't harvest with the "Sustainability Fund, NDSUSTAAB2GWHBUFJXP7QQGYHBVEFWZESBUUWM4P" Check for yourself in http://nembex.nem.ninja/

Okay, thanks for this. I didn't know that it's possible to find the account which owns the stakes. It also proofs that the 22 stakes were delievered. That's good.
Of course is all good. Do not make panic for nothing! Please have faith and little patience! 70 members are not involved in white paper writing but the core team is and also the same team is distributing the rest of the stakes therefore the delay. Also this list is a list of all people who helped with something until now they are not all always active 24/7 because they have also other obligations in their lives and they are mostly volunteers. So people do not worry be happy! Everything is gonna be all right sooner or later. Thank you

I didn't know that it's possible to find the account which owns the stakes. It also proofs that the 22 stakes were delievered. That's good. I recorded following to check in relation with the price. The balance of "Sustainability Fund, NDSUSTAAB2GWHBUFJXP7QQGYHBVEFWZESBUUWM4P" Apr 26 2,767,xxx,xxx XEM Apr 27 2,717,xxx,xxx XEM (22 stakes delivered) Apr 28 2,672,xxx,xxx XEM (21 stakes delivered) Late claimed stakes don't run away. Just it is delayed a little for some reason, and it is basically owing to claimer's late claim. We waited more than 1 year and NEM successfully launched. We had better enjoy it and cheer up each other for NEM's success.

This justifies a month of nothing from a 70 person team? Ridiculous. There are 1 man shows that produce more in a week then this 70 person team has produced in a month.

There is alot of things i like about NEM that are better than NXT or most other Cryptos, and this is coming from someone who is a big NXT supporter. I wish both NXT and NEM well, im holding both...

I don't understand why, every now and then, collective hysteria explodes in this discussion.
It's all about communication. The NEM-team should be better at this. There has to be one source (for example the twitter-account) where every update needs to be posted. Every day some update, if there is a little one. If the team delivered 22 stakes there needs to be more than a simple line in the troll-box at the NEM-forum by makoto. If you want that people stay with NEM, let them know what's happening - every day, every little update that might be interesting for some of us. For this I would recommend Twitter / Facebook. That's not that hard to realize with a team of 70. It's all about communication and coordination! It cam to my attention that not all 70 belong to the dev team. About 15 of them are transaltors and about the rest I have no idea but I'm sure that people leave and people join the team from time to time. The dev team is busy with a super secret white paper + some future features. <-- I got this info from Telegram. To be honest I had already given up on Nem since it took more than a year to come out and I didn't believe that some day we wil get to see the end result. I was wrong about it and I do believe now that we have a strong and stable dev team so you have to be patient. It's impossible to update every single day and they didn't do that either before the launch. So don't worry they will update us when it is necessary. Nem is here to stay for the long run.

Yes that should be true. I think the 70 are all people that are actively doing something in a coordinated manner. Core-devs are still "only" a handfull of people.
