I don't understand why, every now and then, collective hysteria explodes in this discussion.
It's all about communication. The NEM-team should be better at this. There has to be one source (for example the twitter-account) where every update needs to be posted. Every day some update, if there is a little one. If the team delivered 22 stakes there needs to be more than a simple line in the troll-box at the NEM-forum by makoto. If you want that people stay with NEM, let them know what's happening - every day, every little update that might be interesting for some of us. For this I would recommend Twitter / Facebook. That's not that hard to realize with a team of 70. It's all about communication and coordination! It cam to my attention that not all 70 belong to the dev team. About 15 of them are transaltors and about the rest I have no idea but I'm sure that people leave and people join the team from time to time. The dev team is busy with a super secret white paper + some future features. <-- I got this info from Telegram. To be honest I had already given up on Nem since it took more than a year to come out and I didn't believe that some day we wil get to see the end result. I was wrong about it and I do believe now that we have a strong and stable dev team so you have to be patient. It's impossible to update every single day and they didn't do that either before the launch. So don't worry they will update us when it is necessary. Nem is here to stay for the long run.

I do. Because people like punkrock come with their half knowledge and start spreading bullshit information.

Yes that should be true. I think the 70 are all people that are actively doing something in a coordinated manner. Core-devs are still "only" a handfull of people.

This justifies a month of nothing from a 70 person team? Ridiculous. There are 1 man shows that produce more in a week then this 70 person team has produced in a month. Stop spreading FUD! There is alot of things i like about NEM that are better than NXT or most other Cryptos, and this is coming from someone who is a big NXT supporter. I wish both NXT and NEM well, im holding both... Just because he has an opinion different than yours doesn't make it FUD. Maybe we should enforce an 18+ policy on this forum. I would agree 40+ policy ; )

I have no more information than what has been announced. Since the official appeal deadline has passed now I'm assuming things will speed up a bit but I can't know.

I guess it's a local one. I installed it via the standalone procedure. Error: Time synchronization not possible, NIS not available. (org.nem.ncc.time.synchronization.NccTimeSynchronizer synchronizeTime)

Yes. Even the "late stakes" aren't delivered. It's annoying. There is no transparency. Only a note in the trollbox from makoto that they delivered 22 stakes one week ago (no proof at all). They are harvesting with our stakes and get richer and richer, while we have to buy.
They don't harvest with the "Sustainability Fund, NDSUSTAAB2GWHBUFJXP7QQGYHBVEFWZESBUUWM4P" Check for yourself in http://nembex.nem.ninja/Okay, thanks for this. I didn't know that it's possible to find the account which owns the stakes. It also proofs that the 22 stakes were delievered. That's good. Just to clear things up a bit, none of the funds harvest. Not now, not before and not later.

That's not that hard to realize with a team of 70. It's all about communication and coordination! Here is the Twitter. https://twitter.com/NEMofficialThe biggest and most important updates are listed on the blog. Twitter, Facebook, BTT, and the Forum usually also share those posts too. In the last week, Makoto went to a conference to represent and speak about NEM. Devs were busy working on a white paper. A new/updated NEM video was released and posted on the website and overview. NEM community rallied to take 2nd place in a vote for Liberland, and i still sneaking up on BTC. Some new stakes were released. The week before there were a couple of auctions to pay for the NEM mobile app for Android and iPhone. There were other things but like a new paper wallet and vanity generator being released. One Nemester built a new block explorer. http://blockexplore.in/ (Still in development but already has some cool features in it) And more things but they slip my mind. And there are more things too that are being worked on too behind the scenes, and when those projects are finished or close to being finished they will be announced. Until then, please know everybody is busy.

Yes, just to be clear, when we sync a new chain, the balance will often say "0" as the chain is syncing, but then when it gets caught up to recent times, it will show the real balance.
