ANTMINER S3+ Discussion and Support Thread

Quick Question.

Any one else having their S3 report only one working blade.

I've tried
-different power supply
-multiple reboots
-different pci-e plugs
-Currently power all 4 pci-e plugs with a 1600 watt supply

I've filed a ticket with Bitmain but nothing yet.

Anyone have any suggestions short of opening the box and checking connections.

I had the same issue with my S3's. Try this, plug pci-e cables "criss cross". See illustration below.

Is anybody else still waiting for their Batch 3's to be shipped?

Hi All,

Bought 2 S3.  Arrived yesterday.

1.  First one, turns on, immediately non-stop ringing.  Never turns off. 
2.  Second one, turns on, no ringing, but the temperature of the first blade says 2C while the second is 44c.

They are both being tested with the SAME Corsair 1000W PSU.  The ringing is the worst part, but the temperature thing also concerns me.

Anyone know about this?  I am not talking about the intermittent beep that happens, it happens on the second unit, but the first unit is constant ringing, non-stop.

Thoughts?  BITMAIN why not answer this?  I have emailed you as well, no response.

The pricing for Batch 4 S3s are terrible! The batch 1 price after discount was 0.694.  By the time one would receive a batch 4 S3, a batch 1 will have mined ~0.25 BTC.  Do the math people!

Got both units today and happily hashing on defaults at 450Gh/s for each unit. No issues at all.

0.725- 10% = 0.6525BTC

Can it perhaps a little more to raise ?  0.8 BTC  would be even better.
I wanted to buy 6 pcs, but I do not buy none.

I look forward to a more realistic price that can not be increased every two hours.

What the hell are you guys talking about? The prices are very competitive in this market. No false advertisement, reliable company , if there is an issue, like the dc board they address it. Hashrates and Errors are spot on with in tolerance, unlike 98% of the bullshit other companies are putting out.
