Hi,
Is anyone able to help me out? I purchased 2 of the S3's and bought the Enermax Triatholor ECO 550W 80 Plus Bronze PSU (one for each S3). It says the DC output is +12V 42A 504W. I hooked one PCI-e connector to one side of the machine and hooked up another PCI-e to the opposite side using only two of the four connections. The machine never reaches over 330 - 340 GH/s. Do I need to overclock this machine to reach the 478 GH/s, or do I need to buy a bigger PSU, or both? If I need a bigger PSU which is recommended?
please post your miner status page Here are my miner stats Looks like you have a S1 or S2 board with 32 ASICS - or the wrong firmware? Probably time to find that Philips head screwdriver and take the cover off for some visual inspection. You could download the latest firmware from Bitmain and reload the firmware. Good luck

Chek Lap Kok, Hong Kong 07/25/2014 4:35 P.M. We've missed the scheduled transfer time. This may cause a delay. Shenzhen, China 07/25/2014 10:40 A.M. Departure Scan 07/25/2014 1:56 A.M. Arrival Scan 07/25/2014 1:36 A.M. Departure Scan Shenzhen, China 07/24/2014 11:15 A.M. Origin Scan China 07/21/2014 3:50 A.M. Order Processed: Ready for UPS
UPS are shit, Why didn't Bitmain use DHL?
It took UPS 3 fucking days to even pick it up, Then they cant make their own scheduled delivery time, Pathetic company.

From the Antminer S3 Batch 4 you have an option to select your favourite shipping company. You can choose from the list of DHL, UPS, EMS. Selecting via EMS will make more delay and trouble in clearing customs. DHL is fast and they charge more brokerage than UPS.

Despite the recent delays, still think that UPS is better for me. Cheers

This note is a place where you could request a specific shipping company etc. Cheers

My B-1 shipment was stuck just like that. I emailed Bitmain and they said it will be ok. It took 5 days and then it cleared and I got them 2 days later. So it may take a bit but you will get them.

Last time they gave me a call about why there was no shipping cost specified on the invoice since Bitmain hadn't filled in the "shipping included in price" number on the invoice or something.

The new Firmware is up https://www.bitmaintech.com/support.htm?pid=007201407180243004432lBQW28O0633Quote "No beeper altert when there is no immediate hashing work. During the normal mining, Green LED is always on. If there is no immediate hashing work for 1 second, the Green LED will turn off. If it lasts more than 1 minute without hashing work, green LED is kept off and beeper rings" Just flashed my two S3's with the new firmware. No more beeping! The fiancee will be most pleased!

Hey,
Does anyone know if its possible to monitor your ants from another location?
I'm going on holiday soon and I wanna be able to monitor them.
I know about team viewer, and that is one option, but that means leaving my PC on the whole time.
Thanks
The only way to access them that I know of is Team Viewer or Logmein or similar. Yes - it does require leaving your PC on.

Note to underperforming S3 owners:
I have one S3 that was underperforming at ~420 Gh, i tried to 'boost" it up by moving to 225mhz-no change, but no high errors either. So, i flashed with todays firmware-and it jumped to 455-457Gh, WU 6450-6470 Conclusion: NEW firmware is beneficial to at least some underperforming ants allright, Bitmain! Thanks

What does "WU 6450-6470" stand for? WU: The Work Utility defined as the number of diff1 shares work / minute This is basically what determines your pool shares, hence the payment: higher WU=higher payout all other things being equal.
