Well done - great looking roadmap.

What are the coin specs - total coin supply? POS rewards?

Good luck with the coin - just bought some Wink.
sweet welcome to Shadow!

welcome to the best anon coin around  Smiley

supply is 6 millions ish coins with a slow pos inflation (2%)

Available supply on exchanges may be reduced a lot when people will start convert more and more shadow tokens for full anonymity, might be boost a lot by the in-wallet decentralized market release Smiley

Have a good day.
hope you have a great day too! ShadowCash is the best Anon coin around

Hello there,

a while ago I've posted on reddit, but unfortunately no one did respond, so here's the link:

https://www.reddit.com/r/Shadowcash/comments/2z4mls/shadowcash_tails_qubes_os_whonix/

Additionally any ideas if it could run on OpenBSD?

We really need some step-by-step guides on how to set this up on secure systems.

I've recently set up on a tightly locked down Linux machine, one of those old Dells you can pick up cheap. That's probably good enough; running a staking wallet on TAILS or something might be a little rough, especially if you are holding more than one coin. Crypto by its nature is secure so as long as you avoid malware on your machine and keep control of your keys there should be no problem.

My method for key control is dumping all the keys I have to an encrypted text file on a USB drive. I also have copies of the install files for the wallets on the drive, to save time in an emergency. There's a copy of the USB drive well hidden and another one in a bank vault. So if I come home at midnight and find my apartment stripped, I can drive out to Walmart and buy a cheap laptop, sit in a diner with wifi and my thumb drive and in an hour or two I will have wallets installed, the keys loaded, and all my coins moved someplace safe so if they ever do get into my machine all they will find are empty addresses.

Try ShadowCash, the first coin with instant and decentralized private transactions!

Has the Shadow Marked already been released? if not, when is it planned to release it? Can not find any information into the opening post. Thanks!

better dev team updates the community about the progress of market release, there is less than a month to deadline

if there will be delay, better they say it in advance and revise the date before end of june (deadline)

my idea, even if it is ready, for sure they will not relase it, and they will delay it on purpose for cheap sdc

very unprofessional way of handling the situation....update the community

is Isidor alive?....never ending coolstory of sdc

silence is easy comes for sdc core team

New Shadow PR Reports!

After the earlier success of our Thunderclap campaign we have searched for new methods to create awareness for the Shadow project. We wanted to inform crypto enthusiasts around the world about the direction the project is heading. To make sure this was all done professionally we hired a PR firm to distribute our first press release. Today, we would like to show you the first round of results. Please note that there is more distribution that we have been unable to track. Due to the nature of the Internet; it is impossible for us to track all news-sites and blogs that have published the PR. Google Analytics shows us that our press release still continues to attract traffic to our website and promotional video.

Many more results showed in Google News when our press release was first published such as yahoo finance, Digital Journal, Boston.com and many more. Unfortunately, Google News does not currently index these results long term.

Below you will find a list of high traffic websites that have covered our first press release:

Thanks for reposting. I must have missed it the first time.
I'll get some chatting going on there too now.
Thanks again.

You're welcome! I'd really love to read about how the devs plan to combine Shadowcash with Tor and or I2P, has been any progress made at all? I've read in the Shadowtalk forums that there are thoughts about I2P integration, any more information about this would be really appreciated. Every measure that tells the government to go fuck themselves should be appreciated by all of those who seek privacy and ultimately anonymity.

Thanks! That's pretty neat, but I'd rather use SDC over Tor / I2P if possible, hence the idea of using Tails and hoping that some day someone will get it work, I mean bitcoin-qt works like a charm, extract and start it from command line, done.

Securing wallets, private keys etc. is another thing, dividing assets is a good thing in case of seizures one wouldn't loose everything.

Why should it be a little rough running a staking wallet on Tails? Due to Tor and the time necessary to sync?

If the market get released I think many could use Shadow in Tails for day to day transactions and then send their earnings via SDT to a staking wallet.

Devs? Some statement from you regarding this topics would be really great Smiley

The reason I think it would be rough is that if you are using a TAILS drive in a machine enough resources are consumed by the wallet(s) that you probably won't be using the machine for anything else, so you will need a dedicated machine anyway. On my vault machine there is currently 2G of RAM, and I'm planning on running at least 3 staking wallets for different coins plus a BTC full node. The 2G isn't even enough to sync the full node.  Running SDC in thin mode might work well but then there's no staking (I think.) Also I don't know what effect the delays of Tor will have on staking, might make it impossible.

Soon we will have Android wallets and that will complicate things even more and probably most of the security and privacy risks will involve phones. Phones also get lost and stolen a lot so your phone wallet will have to be really locked down, with keys backed up someplace else.

Try ShadowCash, the first coin with instant and decentralized private transactions!

STFU already are you kidding me with this triple post fud child? There was no deadline given on the audit and it should probably be very in depth and a direct comparison to other coins. That would take not only a ton of time but also a lot of skill. I said it before. I would wait for the market drop to push the audit out. That is the PR move here. Do you think the team would be pushing so heavily on PR right now if that was not their plan? Stop trying to get cheap SDC lol.
