Hey.

I've been pointing my cgminer for quite some time to the pool but it seems that I don't receive any shares whatsoever.
Code:
Queued work requests: 2883
 Share submissions: 0
 Accepted shares: 0
 Rejected shares: 0
 Accepted difficulty shares: 0
 Rejected difficulty shares: 0
 Items worked on: 17558
Discarded work due to new blocks: 1200
Stale submissions discarded due to new blocks: 0
Unable to get work from server occasions: 0
Submitting work remotely delay occasions: 0

Can anyone please shed some light on what's wrong with my cgminer?

EDIT:
Problem solved

You don't receive shares, you send shares.

What mining hardware do you have?  Maybe post a screen shot of CGMiner?

A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text.
Q: Why is top-posting such a bad thing?
A: Top-posting.
Q: What is the most annoying thing on usenet and in e-mail?

Hi,
I want to rent some hashes to find my luck! I tried port 4334, but always receive this error: "Pool difficulty too low"
I know difficulty doesn't matter in this case but is there any idea how much diff i should set for diff to not get this error?

Port 4334 difficulty is set to 1 million, just how freaking high does your rental service want it? You have no control over diff as the user.

Only problem with nicehash and port 4334 I've had is with fixed orders. Somehow fixed orders and ck's pools don't mix well together but using a normal order I've never had a problem.

Hello There,

I mine more for fun and to learn than to have a profit, as I know that my harsh rate is really small.  However, I have been mining with CKPOOL for around 3 months in a row and I didn't receive a SINGLE payout.

I have 3 2PAC running around 250 mhz, I can see my miner statistics but it does not help!

Can someone please explain to me where the hell in those provided statistics I can have an Idea of any outstanding balance to be paid??

If it's not available on this, where can I check it?  On other mining pools, it's easy to see this info...  Almost moving out of CKpool ...

Sorry, but you have no outstanding balance. Only time you'll get paid is IF you find a block and then you'll get the entire 12.5 btc + fees - -ck's fee. The chance of finding a block with your hashrate is barely above zero. Mining on the solo pool with such a small amount of hash is like playing the lottery.

Maybe you intended to mine on ckpool.org and not solo.ckpool.org?

So, does it means that if I dont find a block, I dont get any payout for the blocks that I didn't find but I helped to mine?  That's utterly BS. Smiley Ckpool owner is getting rich..

This is a solo pool, you only got paid if you find a block, if you want to get paid find a normal (not solo) pool.

Sigh, don't blame others for your own mistake please. You were mining on solo.ckpool.org, note the word SOLO in it. If you wanted to mine together with other people then go here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1876330.0 and mine to pool.ckpool.org, note the word POOL as in a pool of people.

Before you make those types of comments, do your research and understand what you are doing.   With your limited hashrate, it will take forever to reach the minimum payout level at any pool.  I have a antminer S5 and its not worth running at a regular pool....

Hey all thanks for all the insight on this thread i am learning alot. I currently have two S3 pointed here and two Block Erupter Cubes. My S3 are running like champions the BEC on the other hand are not I am using the stratum poxy with a bat file and am not seeing very much action in the proxy and not even showing up in the cubes interface. The Long pooling is inactive, as i recall when I had them pointed at slush that was on. I have tried to run them through CG and BFG with no change. If anyone has any suggestions to make them run more efficient I would love to hear. Just trying to get that extra 68 GH to make that T Hash for my fighting chance.

Code:
mining_proxy4.exe
cgminer -o stratum+tcp://solo.ckpool.org:3333 -u 1Lt8VEVhFspq2Ane8j2Gqp19Ab7z4xJoRm -p x

Hey guys, i am pretty new to the whole bitcoin/crypto stuff and learned alot last week ;-) I mined for 24 hours with an S3+ (of course without solving a block).

What do you think, now that the bitcoin <-> money exchange rate is falling, will there be a time any soon, when those big miners stop their work, so that the chances to find a block with smaller/older hardware will get into a realistic range? Or will mining with, lets say 1Th/s, stay at more or less zero chances?

Anyways, good luck all solo miners ;-)

Clearly you don't understand how this works. So don't call anything BS.

http://solo.ckpool.org/- everybody mine on their own, CK is only providing you a service of frontend and protocol, so your miner can mine on it, and you don't need to host whole Bitcoin blockchain database yourself (several hundred GB of storage and fast machine to host it). CK takes small fee for that. On your own, this single USB stick miner (or even 10 of them), it will take many, many years to mine whole block for yourself (12.5 BTC). It may never happen in your life time. People mine there for fun with unprofitable hardware for example, with hope that one day they will be 12.5 BTC richer.

http://ckpool.org/- similar to solo pool, but instead of mining on their own, everybody mine together on CK server. Everybody takes fair share of their reward. That's how people do mining nowadays.

You are clearly mining on solo pool, so you taking a gamble, that one day your little USB stick will make you rich.
If you intended to mine on pooled mining server instead of solo, switch to http://ckpool.org/.

You are actually wrong, http://pool.ckpool.org/ redirects to http://solo.ckpool.org/ page. So correct addresses are:
http://solo.ckpool.org/ - solo mining
http://ckpool.org/ - pooled mining

Use only those and you should be fine:)
