Why did you create a new thread related to plagiarism we already have a similar thread like this here on the forum.

If all the above is right if your content came from Chatgpt then that's not accurate. Don't use Chatgpt it's not a good source to learn about plagiarism.

If you want to learn about plagiarism here's the two similar threads that you can read below

1062  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much Bitcoin is needed to buy iPhone 15? on: September 13, 2023, 04:31:00 PM
The bigger question are.....

How does the person with the iPhone 4s feel now.... after they bought it for 162 BTC? Those bitcoins are now valued at $4 192 000 at todays price of $25 870 per bitcoin.  Roll Eyes

My guess is they sold their iPhone 4s now for $10 and use it to buy Bitcoin and wait for the next bull market to recover the opportunity they lost after they bought the iPhone 4s.

iPhone is developing fast, old units become cheaper and cheaper as it become ages unlike Bitcoin the price goes up over time.

I'm sure they regret it but It's not too late yet we can learn from our mistakes from the past.
1063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 13, 2023, 03:51:08 PM
AI Day trading with crypto like Bitcoin is very risky without knowledge you won't be able to make a profit.

Since crypto is too volatile it would be hard to make an AI trading bot more efficient in day trading. Because you will need to train your AI model from previous historical data, strategies, and risk management. There is no guarantee that your AI will make a profit after you've trained it unless you know much about risk management and good strategies.
1064  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: BTC transaction unconfirmed after 92 confirmations on: September 12, 2023, 06:53:37 PM
Well, we don't know yet if the reason is the data directory without the armorylogs.txt but if the Bitcoin core is installed on a different hard drive then Armory can't find it without pointing it to the right Bitcoin data directory.

How do I post an image on here?

Since you are a newbie you can't able to post images here but you can post the URL of the image you want to share here.

This is what I use to upload images below
- https://imgbb.com/

Copy the URL after you upload and then post the URL here.
1065  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I just purchased my first bitcoin on: September 12, 2023, 06:32:12 PM
In addition to BlackHatCoin's post above, Electrum can be used as a cold/offline wallet; it functions similarly to a hardware wallet. If you don't have a budget and just intend to keep bitcoins for a long time, Electrum cold storage is a good alternative for the Trezor wallet.
And always remember don't leave your asset long to any exchange just like what happened recently with Coinex there are many customers right now having issues with withdrawal they currently suspended withdrawal due recent hack.
1066  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Another day to take caution of sim swap attack on: September 12, 2023, 06:10:00 PM
How is a sim swap possible?
Here in my country before you request anything from the sim carrier like requesting for sim replacement you need to provide a selfie and submit a few documents for verification. So how does Vitalik Buterin fall to this attack?

The only thing that I could think of is that the mobile number or sim he had is not yet ID-verified. That is why the hacker can request to sim carrier to activate a new number and ask the carrier to redirect all calls and texts to a new number without ID verification.

This might be the reason why Binance removed phone number verification on withdrawal.
1067  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinex hacked, $18M stolen? on: September 12, 2023, 04:06:30 PM
That's bad news I'm using Coinex to trade and transfer some coins from Viabtc to Coinex.

I tried to contact them just now and it's confirmed that they having some issues all withdraw and deposit is currently suspended.

I asked them about the news and this is what they said.
Quote
We have not received an official report confirming this issue
Please be patient until the issue is fully investigated and an official announcement is published in this regard
In any case, the first priority of CoinEx is the security of users' assets
1068  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: BTC transaction unconfirmed after 92 confirmations on: September 12, 2023, 03:55:04 PM
Would you mind to try "Rebuild and Rescan Databases" you can find it on "Help".

I am sat at preparing databases & the boxes greyed out in Armory, how do I send a log file? is that from Bitcoin Core or Armory?

You can post the logs here or pastebin.com and it should be the armorylog.txt

You can get it by opening the armory wallet then file --> export log file.

I don't know what OS you are using but alternatively, if you are using Windows here's the folder location below
Code:
C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\Armory\armorylog.txt

For Linux:
Code:
/home/<YourUsername>/.armory/armorylog.txt

1069  Other / Archival / Re: test on: September 12, 2023, 03:19:20 PM
Why would you steal if you can get power for free from Solars?
Stealing electricity or jumper is illegal and you can be in prison if you are making money from stealing power.
1070  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where can I make a loan with collateral with small interest on: September 12, 2023, 11:31:34 AM
I suggest if you are looking for someone who can give you a loan try to make a thread in your local section because not all people here live in the same country. You can get more chances in the local section and maybe someone near you can meet up and give you a USDT/BTC loan.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cheapest way to withdraw my money from Coinbase on: September 12, 2023, 12:30:27 AM

Coinbase claims that they will cover all network fees for the clients. It's worth noting that Coinbase and circle (the company behind USDC) have some sort of partnership, so this is not surprising

I think free withdrawal for USDC applies only to international exchange/Coinbase Pro but not for the old version of Coinbase wallet/exchange.

Coinbase these days is very confusing, they create Coinbase Pro and commerce they merge all faqs, guides, and solutions into one that makes people confused(or it's just me).

@OP
The last time that I withdrew Nano from Coinbase it was free I don't know if Nano can be still withdrawn from Coinbase for free but I think if they ask for the fee it should be cheap.
1072  Other / Meta / Re: posting in another board is it allowed? on: September 11, 2023, 11:45:05 PM
Thank you so much for a quicker feedback..
Although it's always good to ask questions before going into something that may leads to serious damages.
Maybe I can only keep reading without intruding in any of them. Just as a popular saying that's says with our local pidgin " person wey dey asked questions no dey miss road" meaning someone who always asking questions doesn't miss their way about in any place they found themselves, I guess you people understands it.
Thank you all

It is only for automated translators you are still allowed to post in local section If you hire someone or find someone on that local section who can help you translate your thread it is allowed.

If it's related to bitcoin or altcoin I think the question you want to ask can be answered here on the forum without going to local action.
Do you mind sharing it what question are we talking about?
1073  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 116 pro75 not working in high performance on: September 11, 2023, 05:28:20 PM
same problem, is ping ms caused this problem cause ping ms is 378 ms

Is the working machine mining on the same pool? If yes then it's not the ping that caused this issue.

I don't know why you can't still find what caused this issue after swapping the PSU and hashboard. If the issue is still the same then replace the control board.

Or seek help from professionals you can check the link below and look for repair center near your location.

1074  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What type of advice is worth giving such people? on: September 11, 2023, 12:16:14 PM

What advice is worth passing out to people who have lost their Bitcoin more than once and are on the hedge of giving up?

I never experienced my wallet being hacked by hackers but my advice to those who have lost their Bitcoin more than once is to learn from their mistakes and we can teach them some security practices like avoiding phishing or any sites with full of popup ads and encourage them to use a hardware wallet or make an offline wallet. Having a hardware wallet or offline wallet is far from hacking unless they made a mistake like I said they should avoid accessing phishing sites or any sites with full of popup ads.

1075  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: hello need help technical support please ! on: September 11, 2023, 12:11:45 AM
If you have the HD seed you should be able to recover the wallet by importing it into supported wallets like Electrum but how did you get the HD seed? Since BitcoinQT/Bitcoin core doesn't generate a seed I'm sure it was not from this wallet.

About simple backup you don't need to activate anything, If you talking about Bitcoin core then copying the wallet.dat file is enough but make sure you turn Bitcoin core and Bitcoind off because if you copy the wallet.dat file while these two are running there is a big chance that the backup wallet you just made may become corrupted. So make sure to close them properly before making a backup.

I don't understand this part below I think it would be better if you create a thread in your local language or use a translator like Google translator.
Code:
or otherwise, apart from forcing, "rescan and rescan", I don't see?!
1076  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 116 pro75 not working in high performance on: September 10, 2023, 11:44:25 PM
its new machine bought from my friend ,i am running it for only two week.

Since you said previously that you have another machine that was running fine why not try to swap the PSU to test if it was a PSU or not?

Or if you are willing to find the cause you can also try to swap hashboards and maybe these 1 or 2 hashboards are defective that need to be replaced.
1077  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ouch, today someone made a transaction with over $500k fee. on: September 10, 2023, 11:29:41 PM
I think it was not a human mistake if it was mined from F2pool maybe the transaction was made by someone who mines in F2pool and withdraws his mined BTC.
Since F2pool withdrawal is free I believe that the transaction was created by them and included in the block to mine. F2pool can manually choose transactions so there is no problem if they create a transaction with a large fee they can just include the transaction later in the block they mine.

Because people nowadays are smart it's impossible that he didn't double-check the transaction fee before the transaction was broadcasted.
1078  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: hello need help technical support please ! on: September 10, 2023, 10:54:18 PM

One simple question, where did you get the wallet file originally from? If you bought it from someone, you've been scammed!
Second, do you have a backup seed phrase for that wallet?

Based on his posts history the wallet was generated from an old bitcoin-qt wallet.

And the 2nd one since it was generated from Bitcoin-QT I'm sure he does not have a backup seed.

@OP is this the wallet from your previous threads about corrupted dbcache?
You keep creating a new thread but no response?
I hope you can go back to your previous thread because maybe someone already posted the right solution for your problem.
1079  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Transferring Bitcoin Blockchain from old drive to a new one on: September 10, 2023, 11:40:50 AM

It requires the use of another strorage drive or some ssh connection to another machine to transfer data but that's the idea
I hope this can help others looking to avoid downloading the full blockchain again

Using scp How long did it take you to transfer the blockchain files to another machine?

According to the link I provided above it would take too long compared to using rsync instead of using scp.
I hope you are not waiting until now to finish transferring blockchain data.
1080  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ Fraud ] Coinbase on: September 10, 2023, 08:54:50 AM
@Darker45:
Did it happened to you on binance? If so, please share the experience you had, cuz to me never happened (I just buy and then I transfer to a meta). Instead on coinbase, I can say happen cuz I just see it happening, even before trying to send, straight away after I confirmed by bank payment. So to make sure, you understand: I used Coinbase just to buy crypto, I don't keep them on that silly platform. If I buy something from Amazon, and they refuse to send me the gods I payed for is called fraud so in my opinion, coinbase are thieves.

Same here.
Well, based on my old experience using Coinbase their exchange and wallet are buggy I deposited some Bitcoin before but it didn't show in my wallet but on explorer, it was already confirmed I contacted them to fix but it took a week before they solved my issue not only once but 3 times I stop using them even I have few BTC on my vault unlike Binance until now I never had any issue yet and I only use it to exchange, withdraw, and trade small amount.
