1281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Chainlink is a shitcoin and will dump to zero on: August 17, 2020, 11:02:07 PM
don't fall for the hype, this shitcoin should never be in the top 5 even the top 200. It is a pump and dump by a group of scammers led by sergey. It has no real value and is useless.

I smell of a burnt ass! Hey, is that you?
Are you butthurt due to losing on the opportunity to buy it for 1k SATs (its ATL) or did you already lose something big by margin trading this coin or leverage trading it at higher leverage? It's really your problem, so stop making baseless accusations for the coin you don't even know F about. Do you think people like us who believe in this project are jerks? What's your base to say that this coin is useless and valueless?
1282  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Need advice/ sent a crypto to wrong address on Coinbase. on: August 17, 2020, 10:50:59 PM
Your strongest hope is what o_e_l_e_o mentioned, your last resort is 'luck', WBTC is listed on some major exchanges such as Bittrex and Bitfinex, so who knows? maybe one day in the future Coinbase decides to list the coin and it would magically show up in your balance, 12k is a lot of money and if you make some noise about it across all different social media platforms - you might get lucky enough.

Coinbase won't list WBTC, so false hopes there as they have not even fulfilled some promises in the past by announcing a partnership but not adding that coin/token to their platform due to certain reasons.

@OP, isn't it fine if you ask them to keep some percentage (like 5 or 10), I mean they're literally terrible and won't really help unless bribed (if bribing them works out). I'm sorry if anyone gets offended by my suggestion but I thought that getting a hefty amount back is not so easy there and so, something is better than nothing and to get that something back, we should do something. I know coinbase is not a cheap firm there, but if they don't co-operate the way we expect, then this is probably the last option.
1283  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Coin (BNB) Stands To Benefit from Staking & $16M SXP Airdrop on: August 17, 2020, 10:36:11 PM
BNB is looking an exciting coin to chime in these days as not only is Binance allowing its users to make money through staking BNB for other coins, but they are also going to release BSC (Binance smart chain) which will give users a great opportunity in order to buy and stake BNB for some fee collection with equal chances of being able to find a block.
1284  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possibleTrump Will Prohibit Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2020, 10:20:46 PM
There is no way US will prohibit bitcoin as there are billions invested in it and there are companies invested heavily in the cryptocurrency space and they would not disrupt that, but they might implement strict restrictions to raise capital as there are many scammers in the space and if you are able to restrict that it will be a great help for the community.

I believe that if a decision has been made in his mind (or in other words, Trump has already made up his mind), there's nothing that could stop him from doing that or maybe he's just keeping it on his tongue to fear their people over there in order to stop BTC from rising? Anything could be the reason but why is he speaking against BTC suddenly? Just think. They can't impose restrictions which is why they are planning to remove the crypto economy itself out of the country. And billions? Who, Trump invested them? No, right? He doesn't give a damn about those billions considering he doesn't even give a fcuk on how their economy is getting drained down under the effect of the rise of their national debt they are facing.
1285  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possibleTrump Will Prohibit Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2020, 05:42:46 PM
Prohibition? Is it really possible in the case of Bitcoins?
You know we've got VPNs, free emulators, privacy maintaining softwares and whatnot. And one more thing, Bitcoin ain't no tobacco man, so that they would just put a ban on it because it certainly is out of their reach. And even if they do, people know how to bypass various blocks in order to work with BTC the way they used to be (take an example, porn sites were banned here in India but did we stop watching porn?) Tongue

P.S.: For those who think BTC can help grow any country's economy, please think again and my two cents for you. Literally? You think BTC is too big atm? I believe that BTC can change some people's lives (which means a part of the whole country may be benefitted) but the country itself can't rely on BTC solely for its economic growth.

If this OP was originally written by you, you wouldn't mind showing the source where you first posted it? Shouldn't be hard to find.
Tabinda over at UpWork is a verified content writer for example. She has earned over $20.000 and has a great job success rate. She did all that thanks to the text she stole from you?

Utter nonsense from OP, seriously. How can they make us believe that something that's written before them, was stolen from them when they plagiarized and are now defending themselves like they're as innocent as a 5 yo kid! I feel pity for OP who don't even have the courage to write their own intro their way. This shows that the content writing niche has become too much competitive that people just want to fetch some money out of it without having to the courage work at any cost.
1287  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin transaction fees (in sats/kb). Sunday, Saturday are best to move BTC on: August 11, 2020, 10:08:23 PM
What will happen when the network rate congests too badly though? I mean, I even sent a transaction with a fee of over 120 sats/vbyte but it got confirmed after 14 hours of long wait. Isn't that something weird? I mean, how can miners just relay high-fee blocks only and leave the lower ones and clog the network intentionally? Is it because the price spike of BTC? But that should rather trigger the fee to go down, no?
1288  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Turkish Complex of Some Eastern European Forum Members on: August 11, 2020, 09:38:23 PM
Why is there even some need felt by these Turkish users to show up with themselves being called as Turkish rather than Bitcoin enthusiasts? What makes them so different while being Turkish? Do they know much better about anything in this world rather than others who are called the experts of this forum? Is this jealousy just because their local (language) board is not being given any existence nor importance in any major signature campaigns?
1289  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What makes a good bettor? on: August 11, 2020, 07:03:40 PM
When you're talking about listening to someone and then bet on something (here - horse racing specifically), let me ask you this - where did that knowledge come from - to the one who is tipping you? Even a tipster is the one who is aware of the probability and chances, as well as studied the horse as well as old game results are also checked with the horse power being a major factor to measure how long and quick will the horse run. But horse racing is riskier compared to sportsbetting and needs pure luck in order for you to win if you've gone for the 1st horse, and you can try to place yourself a bit easily if you're getting a line of 1-3 ranks. 1290  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What we can expect the price of eth at the end of 2020? on: August 11, 2020, 06:49:41 PM
Don't fall in love with ETH just yet as history has witnessed that whenever BTC gained too much in terms of % or remained stable for longer, ETH always lost its value during those times. I believe it's already higher and should now settle down and remain close to ~$250 and should be held at this level till this year's end.
1291  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Officially fraud!!!! sportbet.one on: August 11, 2020, 06:40:03 PM
It is obvious that I made a mistake. The deeper you search, the more confusion comes from below. I just lost more than 2k eos in these games. I only objected to the betting company about my last game. All my good thoughts about the platform disappear one by one over time. but they don't care....

I'm sorry for your loss but that's all I can say here in your case as such matches can't even get probably verified which is why I never bet on such lines. It's not easy to gather the results of these matches as even a last second goal can change the whole result and you won't even know it till the game ends completely.
1292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take profit on: August 11, 2020, 02:19:18 PM
Don't waste your time and money on masternode projects. Use that money and invest in Defi projects, I believe you will get more profit and it will take less time to get profit. In the past I also invested in a few masternodes, but in the end the price kept falling and I only received coins that were no longer worth.

DeFi projects are literally a hit this year and will probably be the next level alts which can't be beaten by some shit alts anymore. Yearn finance was (and it still is) the most successful DeFi project that brought in about 2000x returns in no time to its investors and earners. I am willing to learn more about the upcoming projects that come under this niche - DeFi and will DeFinitely invest some small amounts in order to gain something huge (as I may become lucky some day :p)
1293  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why are mixers necessary? on: August 10, 2020, 11:43:03 PM
In very simple words, mixers are made for the purpose of hiding your BTC and sending you different BTC from different addresses to your desired address(es). If you send some coins to a mixer, it will keep them there for a while but immediately create you some tokens (not altcoins but kinda vouchers) which you can either give to the person you want them to redeem, or you can redeem them yourself on your desired address. These transactions will come from the reserves of the mixer so not to let anyone trace your old and new transactions. So, it is possible for you to anonymise your coins up to a level where they can't be traced at all.
1294  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Take profit on: August 10, 2020, 11:18:23 PM
Staking depends upon the project as well as what % are they offering. If you know well about the project, chances are that you won't get scammed for sure. But the % in staking could make you feel a bit low as it could be less and the risk of price drops of the token are always there (during the time you stake). Same applies to masternodes, if you know the project, then adding a masternode can give you pleasant returns on your invested coins. Lending is more riskier than these two, but the fact is, lending fetches you more profits (income) through interest if you are a good lender but there always can't be a good borrower and you may suffer some loss when anyone defaults. So, it's your decision to choose which way to go.
1295  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Officially fraud!!!! sportbet.one on: August 10, 2020, 11:03:16 PM
And if you ask them, they say "automatically approved until 1k eos". while waiting for a long time in the system pending with a score of 4-2. After asking why my bet was still not confirmed, it was canceled. With so many questions. How can I believe they don't have a finger in this business?

I watched many live football matches. For example, there were too many positions in this match. They all reacted too. "because they are human." They don't react at all for such a position.

This happens a lot of times that whenever you try to place a bet, it does not get confirmed immediately and takes a few extra moments till when the game usually gets a goal (if we assume that these are pre-recorded games which can't really assure that the wins are possible as if that's the case, the bookie already knows the outcome as well as the exact time of goals, offsides, corners, etc. So, no chance for you to beat them as they'll definitely stop you the moment when they know that the time has come and a goal is going to be made).
1296  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io seized my profits on: August 04, 2020, 09:21:46 PM
There is something strange going on with the number of complaints against Sportsbet increasing. I am looking forward to what Sportsbet have to add in this thread, we need some sort of clarity.

An exit-scam maybe?
I don't really want Sportsbet ending it all this way because too many hearts (including mine) will be broken if this happens. I don't know why there are no clarifications even in the previous threads made by other users, makes me worried. I don't have anything on sportsbet ATM but these things have created a scary situation where the most trusted casino is behaving shady.
1297  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io seized my profits on: August 04, 2020, 08:33:09 PM
Asking for KYC is not harassment. Harassment is when you ask for KYC then bring up the ToS, accuse that it's multi-account, do not show any proof of multi-accounting from the KYC reference, then you lock the account, then a user is going through all this public forum things and is taking heat (scammers etc) just because it's a newbie account.

That's harassment.

You took my words wrong way, brother.
What you said is what I meant, please re-read what I said. I said that if KYC documents have been provided, then what's the need at the casino's end to harass their customer by coming up with all such shit like multi-accounts, no proofs, nothing and just giving back their deposits without giving them their winnings? It feels like begging for our own money. Isn't that harassment?
1298  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] Sportsbet.io seized my profits on: August 04, 2020, 08:22:03 PM
--snip--
Does this sound fair for both party?

At least not from the gambling website's end, because if KYC documents have been provided, they need not to harass their customers like this. I'm personally a fan (yes I'm still am) of sportsbet.io but the number of complains being raised on a daily basis have rung alarms in my heart for them.

Quote
Even if it's a crypto bookies, you still need KYC to identify a person.

That's absolutely true that KYC can be asked from any entity when and whether they see it to be fit. But even after going through Veriff, an automated verifying service, what makes them not to give the result in OP's favor?

And for the multi-accounting part, I have got a question here.
Let's take an example of a soccer game, and I have only one account. The odds are -
Team A - 2.xx
Draw - 4.xx
Team B - 2.xx

Now, if I'm so sure that my team (Team A) will win for sure, I'll place a bet on them immediately at 2+ odds. Now, if I believe that the game could change any moment and Team B may take over the match, I'll place a bet on Team B even when their odds are higher than 3 (loss-cutting strategy - hedging). Either team wins, I'll definitely gain something and if draw takes place, that's where I lose everything. So, what's the need of multi-accounting here? To place a bet on draw?  Cheesy
1299  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: August 04, 2020, 08:03:44 PM
I have played Piggy Riches Megaways a month ago and had a great experience. Got a 30x shot through some scatters as it got me some free spins. But can't forget to mention that it took me more than 50 spins with the same minimum bet and I just won nearly half of the bet amount in just 8-10 bets, which ended me up in some loss but not too much. I believe the 777 (3 reel) slots are much better as the game usually stops immediately when tapped upon, compared to which this Piggy Riches game was slow when tried to stop to get instant results.
1300  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Funds frozen at sportsbet.io on: August 04, 2020, 07:41:58 PM
I believed that Sportsbet had been a great gambling site (even without KYC as I used to redeem bigger amount like $200 but they never asked). Ahem, anyways, was the name on the card the same as you mentioned in your KYC? I mean, any different name on the card or someone else's card? Maybe the "multi-accounting issue" is due to IP restrictions? Like actmyname stated, I'm myself confused that if you've committed something like "multi-accounting", why the hell did they allow you to register on their site at the first place? Why did they let you deposit when they knew it's another account of yours? Or was it due to your insane win? I've only had one problem when it comes to sportsbet.io, and i.e.; they used to stop me from placing more bets ranging between a few minutes to a few hours whenever I won on some unbelievable odds like 5x, 8x and sometimes even 11x.
