1321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sad reality: some countries gamble more than they can afford on: November 10, 2023, 08:15:09 PM
What do you think about this issue where people gamble too much in countries where the vast majority of the population isn't well off? Should governments step in and restrict casinos more perhaps?

the government of Greece can do something to prevent the population from getting hooked on those casinos but if the risk outweighs the benefit, they will just limit the promotion of the casinos just like what Australia was doing.

this isn't just happening in Greece. in my country, the government steps in and shuts down the casinos operating illegally. these casinos provide money to the government, it can't just stop their business. but the government creates another law for it and will also ask for more money from the casino otherwise they will do something to their operation. seems regular stuff they do to squeeze more money from casinos especially if they know the casino is making more money from its people.
1322  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Sell your EMPTY ETH Wallet! ($5-10/address) on: November 10, 2023, 07:43:57 PM
He just want to claim that free UniSwap tokens for you ... sell him your wallet used for uniswap trading and he will claim free 400 uniswap tokens ... It's that simple.
How much do they pay for those garbage tokens these days?

Today 5$ for one token.  There was a moment in history they were priced 40$ each.

Still claiming 400 tokens x 5$ ... you get 2000$... If he buy a wallet even for 500$ its still great business.

Are you telling me that I can claim 400 tokens worth $5 each with those addresses I posted? Where can I claim them?

Edit, I have no idea how to connect wallet to uniswap, and these shit coins confuse me a lot, if anyone is interested, I could accept the use of escrow, you just pay 70% of the airdrop value to the escrow and I will give the keys to the escrow and I will take the money from him after you are done claiming.

However here is the question, how are you going to claim anything if the keys are already exposed and scammers are  collecting whatever shitcoin going there in less than a second. Yeah I never use eth bnb and other total shitcoins, those are scam addresses, well most of them, some of them I found by collision attack.

Check which one doesn't have a in and out tx with a second interval, that's actually not a scam wallet, if the wallet is empty but you could still claim the 2 bounties posted on uniswap site, then please tell me so I can claim them and convert them to eth, bnb and let them be there for the owner before the pot of bounties is empty.

Every ETH address that "interacted" with uniswap contract address before  September 1, 2020, at 12:00 am UTC can claim 400 UNI.

The most important thing is : Was your address involved in any action with UniSwap before mentioned date ?

If your answer is yes then you will probably get the tokens.

If you want to try i can help you claiming the tokens - if you decide that my hints was helpful you can send me a small reward - if not then i'm fine with that too.

BTW  I've checked the few addresses you posted before and unfortunately no one of them can claim UNI tokens ...

anyone who have been in the forum during that time must have claimed their UNI tokens already. everybody knew that airdropped. OP must have know something else that he is buying the old wallets. it could be another possible airdrop.

but the original owners still have the private keys of those wallets, there is no point since the original owners can still claim any airdrops to those wallets and send them to their new ones. it's pointless buying the wallets.
1323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 10, 2023, 07:25:21 PM

i could be wrong with that odds, 30% for almost a 90% win Inoue would be a loss for the bookie. i could just be giving tapales a big credit because he is also a champ. he wouldn't be in that position if he can't box. he still has lots of time in preparation but i remember fulton is close to that as well. kudos to tapales for not ducking the no. 2 p4p though. for a boxer who has seen firsthand what Inoue can do.  it's a tough fight when you can foresee yourself taking the canvas temperature challenge with just one hit from the monster.
1324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney (9th of December) on: November 10, 2023, 06:02:09 PM
So it's still almost a month before this fight. And just like most fight fans, Eddie Hearn is also anxious about this fight. Only the result of this fight will determine if Haney is really good and is stronger in this division since he was struggling at 135. Or Haney isn't good and was only good at 135 due to his size advantage.

Still, it is Teofimo Lopez as the man to beat in this division after beating Taylor. I am curious about what's next in this division. We want to see unifications or at least the top names fighting each other.

I do agree, I think in this division, since Teo beat the former unified champion in Teo Lopez, he will be the man to beat at 140 lbs. Haney is not yet tested, but Prograis is a champion, he doesn't have that kind of pop in his name.

Ryan Garcia is yet to make his name in this division, he will have a hard time facing a knockout artist in Duarte. If he wins that one, for sure he will call out names here. Might be good to see him and Teo Lopez though, could be the biggest fight at 140 lbs and Ryan making a lot of money again.

But let's wait for the outcome of his fight, and still good to see Prograis a huge underdog.

I am still doubtful about Ryan's eagerness to face a champion. He is earning big money even if he never fought a belt. So he may continue doing it and just hype the public by calling champions and then in reality he will face non-champions just like what Tank is doing.

But maybe Ryan will dare fight the winner of Prograis and Haney especially if the victor shows many flaws that Ryan believes he can take advantage of. But there's also the issue with Ryan and GBP. Ryan's fight against Duarte might be his last with GBP so his next fight will depend on which promoter he will sign. If he signs with PBC then he might get the easiest undeserving WBA champion of the division, Rolly and there is also the IBF champ Subriel Matias but I guess it'll be suicide for Ryan. Matchroom has WBC champ Prograis and his challenger Devin Haney while Top Rank has the lineal, WBO champion Teofimo Lopez.

it's even a wonder why Ryan still fights under GB even when there is litigation going on. they can't just look away from what happened to them, he will part ways with that promotion just like Canelo.

do you think it's gonna be Haney vs Teo after Prograis?  Haney arriving in this division and suddenly getting a shot against Prograis is stirring up the division which Haney vs Teo seems like the plan. but why didn't they just arrange Prograis vs Teo?
1325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Andre August - December 15th in Florida on: November 10, 2023, 04:35:39 PM
So, after Jake Paul's impressive performance against the popular sports personality Nate Diaz, he chooses to fight an unknown boxer? It doesn't make sense because if Jake Paul wants more money, he should at least look for a tougher opponent, someone decent that would get the fans' interest. What's his goal here? Is he just trying to boost his win record?

I think he should go for a rematch against Tommy Fury, the boxer who beat him via split decision. That would be more interesting than this reported fight.

while a rematch with Tommy makes sense, Jake may not be prepared for it and Tommy just fought with KSI last month who also won.
if jake wants to fight someone who is popular i think he should fight a youtuber as well. but this won't add value to his record. he needs a real boxer but also someone that he knows has more than 50% rate of winning. he found one in the name of Andre August.

if there is one thing that Jake helped in combat sports is that Dana still signed Tony Ferguson in a UFC contract regardless of his age because Dana doesn't want him to fight Jake.
1326  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: November 10, 2023, 04:08:57 PM
I always try to keep my gambling habit hidden because I live in a conservative family where everyone is religious and in this religious conservative family gambling will never be accepted. Moreover, I have small children, if they see their father's gambling activities, then a kind of curiosity will arise in them, and from that curiosity, the small children will develop an addiction to gambling. Also I have many primary level children around my house and I always try to stay away from them and I don't enter gambling sites in front of them during the day. I try to avoid gambling and casinos at all times considering the overall condition of small children.

it will also be the cause of quarrels when someone in your family knows you are playing casino online. it could be a big problem that you might as well just stop before they catch you doing it. but just like many of us we are so invested in gambling, that we can't just wake up one day and stop.

while my family is not really opposed to gambling.  i would rather not let them know because they might just think i have a ton of money to waste. and if one day i ask help them financially, they might think i lost my money due to my casino activity online.
1327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: November 10, 2023, 05:27:41 AM

As for the long training time of Tapales which runs for more than 4 months and sparring high-level fighters in the very first month are very unusual. Normal fighters train between 2 to 3 months. They start light, go hardcore, and sparring is part of the final stages when the body is nearing its peak. Most fighters who overtrained in the past lost their fights which is why it is uncommon nowadays to have very long camps. But we'll see how this goes. I am somehow hoping for Tapales to show something big in this fight.

Tapales is pushing himself to train harder than his usual routine, and we can't blame him for it. He's going up against the best in the world in that division, and even though he's a champion himself, people see Inoue as more dominant. So, Tapales has to prove them wrong and earn the respect he deserves.

It's good to hear that Tapales is pushing himself very hard in training. That is the sign that he wanted to really show that he is the one that will give Inoue the lost. And we like that kind of mindset for a boxer and I think they all learn it from the great Manny Pacman Pacquiao. I mean you could have all the talent in the world, but if you don't put your ass off and train hard, you will end up for nothing.

Moreover, if Tapales were to win this fight, he would bring honor to the Philippines, and people might start thinking of him as the next Pacman. Just imagine, a pound-for-pound top fighter falling at the hands of a Filipino underdog champion. That would certainly grab major attention once the news gets out. But for that to happen, Tapales needs to ensure he scores a massive upset win here.

Definitely, I don't think that the Philippines has a reigning world champion except himself at this time. So he needs to continue and fight and should be retaining that belt at all cost as he doesn't want to earn the year without any Filipino champion. He needs to sacrifice more to continue the Filipino tradition and follow the path of Manny and other great champion before him.

even when tapales is in his prime years, he'd lose this fight. Inoue is just a different monster, tapales be lucky if he survives 12 rounds but most probably it's going to be Inoue by KO.

betting is still yet open but the odds will probably be Inoue 1.3 vs Tapales 3.4 you have to be a die-hard fan of Tapales to actually bank on him. he is a champ though and by any chance there will be an upset, it's a facepalm to Inoue fans.
1328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: minimum amounts to buy and sell a coin when trading on: November 09, 2023, 08:04:31 PM

safetrade does have a discord https://discord.gg/4szJzdR  you wanna ask them there too.
you would [refer to have at least good amount to make profit. trading in the bull season is a perfect way to learn the market while its advantageous. if you are to trade in binance you can deposit with just any amount you want to trade.

I have never heard of this exchange platform so I can't give you much information about it. Seems like you were just starting your journey. So I would suggest using those platform that are on the top. Centralized platform are not the best way to go but when you are needed to use it, it is the best choice to choose the ones that are reputable.

I personally use Binance and Kucoin exchange platform. The minimum you can trade on their platform is from $10 and above. If it's less than $10 then you can't make any order and complete any thread. There are no minimum deposit amount though it is wise to check first what's the minimum requirement for withdrawal. As it is different from coins to coins, I can't really give you detail information about everything. You need to try it on your own.

In Binance, there's an option to convert some coins to stable coins or to Bitcoin. It has many options which you can choose from, and the amount has no minimum requirement. You can find it in wallet > future > convert.

So deposit what you can withdraw later on and also deposit some extra too. So that when you make a loss in trade you will be able to withdraw if you don't feel like keeping your asset there.

as little as $10 i guess its possible for him to train himself to trade on spot. with how the market swings today its too high a minute ago it was already $38k then suddenly down to $36k. it will be a big profit if you deposit bigger.
1329  Economy / Economics / Re: Swiss Franc become a new Cryptocurrency ;D on: November 09, 2023, 07:11:59 PM
True, they are one of the riches countries, but I think if we talk about adoption, isn't total number of user better than total amount?

It is theoretically possible that in a country like Switzerland there are more people who use/own Bitcoin than in a country with perhaps ten times as many inhabitants. Even at least 5+ years ago in Switzerland, you could buy Bitcoin at a machine where train tickets are sold, or you could pay taxes in the same in some of their cities.

I want to say that in some countries financial literacy is much higher than in others, and this combined with favorable regulation creates a positive environment in which people are not afraid to invest in Bitcoin as in some other countries in Europe where the central banks practically call it a fraud.

When we talk about the total number of users, or perhaps it is better to say those who own Bitcoin, some studies say that this number is somewhere around 2% of the total population, while the most optimistic ones go up to 5%. In any case, this is definitely too little considering that Bitcoin has existed since 2009.

which means there will be more users of CBDC than Bitcoin once every government launched their own CBDC. quite a tiny percentage of people who are more aware of BTC existence despite how popular Bitcoin is.

people will prefer the CBDC i think because its easy for commercial payment services. if CBDC are to exist on blockchain i think Swiss Franc will work like stablecoin and every country will have their own stablecoin as soon as they launch theirs. i can only assume they will be using Ether network.

What a weird man who made that video Grin counting and editing all that.

Btw, I find it strange, that bookies dont have an obvious winner in paira Jiri vs Pereira and Pavlovich vs Aspinal. Only Pereira and Aspinal have little advantage. I guess we gonna have some close fights. However, I still dont understand why they evaluate Jiri so high. Except Teixeira I see no big names in his record.

probably because he submitted a very experienced Teixeira and Jiri does have striking that can match Perera. that's why i bring that video up for it may give an outlook on the fight if they do it on feet. a missed shot could be an opponent's chance. 54/120 and the fact that majority didn't made them fall, i think jiri can absorb his hooks.

its not a guaranteed analysis of the fight but Jiri knows Perera is not well equipped when it comes to grappling and wrestling it will matter when one of them find an opening to where they bring the fight to.

1331  Economy / Gambling / Re: ⚽️ SPORTBETTING ADVICE ⚽️ on: November 09, 2023, 04:46:17 PM

And because of that, we have to say that in some bets, all that you need to do is to rely on luck to win them, because even with your knowledge you can still end up selecting the team that will lose the match, some time in football games, what differentiates the winner from the loser is luck, because, in terms of skills, a listing team can still be the most skilled team with best players.
Football match most time depends on luck to pick the right team to win, and so for that, we have to acknowledge the place of luck in all that we do at some point in time.

Well, in football not everything is like that, because in part I do Know that there is confusion in football, but it does not mean that football is completely random in its things and in its way of making it appear that way, because in everything there is always a great probability and mathematics, studies that are done so that the possible results of a match can be Established, or at least say that a particular team will win without predicting the result with Accuracy , because there are the expert opinions of the players of a soccer team to determine what the team's performance is, Especially When there are stars on a team, because they are the ones who can make the difference, or in most cases they are the ones who can make the difference, then I could say that when We are seeing that you can do any kind of things with football, I don't think that everything is said to have something to do with luck.

I know that there were football matches in the World Cup that were very Lucky , of Teams that have always been champions and lost against teams that looked very weak, but in the end I wouldn't believe it was luck, but rather that the teams lost They performed so well at a very high level that they were and surpassed others, this normally happens, so there is nothing strange there, but generally the people who bet a lot on Football are people who know the game of a Lifetime , and they know who their players are and what their abilities are like, but there are external factors that sometimes they don't say in the news in the articles and these things sometimes they don't say, for now things are easier access information, because each player has their social network where fans access their publications, see what they think, what some published training sessions publish, they make Known that they are good, or bad, all that is necessary now yes A team analysis is required to determine at least which team is Better or more Capable of Winning.

Football isnt a gamble; there's a science behind what may seem like craziness. The chaos of live sports, where factors change instantly, often causes disorientation. Experts analyze teams, strategies, and players' performances extensively. Star players can change the chances, but they are only one factor.

Betting isnt only for experts. It requires passion, expertise, and a willingness to consider many aspects that could effect a game. Bettors frequently have significant background information on teams and external circumstances that rarely make headlines.

Information is always available nowadays. Social media gives us a unique view into players' lives and opinions, adding to the game's analysis. The focus has shifted from statistics to human factors, team morale, and individual psychology. To predict the winning squad, a thorough team study is more important than ever. The game's depth derives from mixing raw data with human aspects.

the morale and individual psychology they say is one factor to look at whether a team or an athlete could win the match. it shows their confidence to face the competition  whether in boxing or soccer. if there is just a metric for this individual psychology bettors will probably be weighing which team but its still not the very guarantee in order for a bettor to finally pick a winning side.

the raw data could include the part of fixing matches right?  this is exactly what i wanted to see if there are just clue they could give. in combat sports, sometimes rumors matter.
1332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $300 Million Crypto Scam in India. on: November 09, 2023, 03:36:06 PM
This is yet another major scam that's been making the headlines recently. According to the news, this scam apparently kicked off back in 2018, probably during the crypto market's bullish phase in 2017 and early 2018. What's hard to believe is that the people behind it are only getting nabbed now, which might have something to do with the involvement of some government officials.

Quote
Authorities Are Involved
The perpetrators primarily sold investments linked to a local cryptocurrency called Korvio Coin (KRO coins). They also reportedly sold several other cryptocurrencies through fake websites. At least one of those cryptocurrencies was a rug pull, as the developers abandoned the project after receiving the investment.

Four police officers are among the most recent individuals who have been arrested.

https://www.financemagnates.com/cryptocurrency/300-million-crypto-scam-indian-authorities-arrest-8-cops/

----

I think that even when a certain country is regulating crypto, crypto education remains crucial. The truth is, it's not limited to that country; even here in the Philippines, we're dealing with a surge of crypto scams. While what happened is absolutely unacceptable, hopefully, it will teach people to stay vigilant against investment scams in the crypto world. The coin they're talking about here is KRO Coins or Korvio Coin. I checked it on CoinMarketCap and it's not listed there. So, it seems these scams mainly target Indians since it's only recognized as a local cryptocurrency.

Just another news and there is no way to stop the rug-pull scams unless people are ignorant about the next big thing in crypto vanishes. I doubt that the coin even existed in the first place because in 2018 period people went crazy for shitcoins after the bullish season and that time people were looking for the next bitcoin and thousands of projects claimed to be one and shitcoin investors made tons of money too but at the end people lost more comparatively.

people always want to be the first to invest to make money, in a hurry to make money and so they invest without knowing the full details. all they care is making money and not having to do something. even when all the warning signs are checked that it could be a scam because it offers too good to be true ROI.

what makes this scam controversial is that local politicians and even police officers are part of the scam. it wouldn't be surprising to learn soon that victims are afraid to speak because of these police officer's involvement.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What impact does the BTC price have on your gambling habits? on: November 09, 2023, 03:04:32 PM
i think the higher the price, the more interested a person would bet to stack some sats. because you are more confident to get after all you have some money because BTC is going to the moon.

now that you are expecting to profit from the bull run, you wouldn't be afraid to lose the little you have in your casino account. this is how i feel though. but of course i'm still controlling gambling.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Releases Web3 Wallet custodial crap on: November 09, 2023, 06:49:18 AM
Isn't twt Binance's wallet or are they the ones who were supporting that wallet? What happens with that? If binance is going to launch another web3 wallet then i am expecting there will be a token sale for that wallet too. Also it can be custodial crap but they have the capability to take this wallet to the level of a metamask in terms of user growth. There is a reason why people call them the kings of the altcoin market. Thats why we have seen lots of altcoin markets on their exchange and from that a wide number of projects are their own or supported and backed by the lap team.

trustwallet is different from the newly rolled-out wallet which is purposely for Web3.
they reason because web3 wallets are prone to hacks and exploits, they need this wallet to have no private key or seed to which i guess you will need binance in order for you to recover the tokens you have in your wallet. so this is for everyone's protection, i think the goal is very noble. it's reasonable though unless we want the newbies to get hacked all the time and lose their hard-earned tokens.

the adoption is here and web3 wallets are pioneering this development by the likes of metamask, binance is to protect the newcomers of crypto. c*ugh c**gh
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Doge coin everly hit $1? on: November 09, 2023, 06:02:01 AM

because Doge has the supply of trillions circulating which everyone is ready to sell by the time it hits the holder's target price. it may just need the intervention of Elon once again to hit $1. eventually this bull market, Doge price will still climb. it may not beat the ATH $0.75 but it will go up hopefully.

you have to be a long-term holder of this coin before you can appreciate its price right now but if you have bought also at $0.06, you will just be impatient. don't get your hopes up too much that it will hit $1. whatever will be, will be.  Grin

1. Sofa Score is good for football, basketball, Tennis and Valleyball

thanks. there are lots of predictions and there's a voting poll where the site is making it easy for people to see which team they think will win.  and this site features different sports including boxing and MMA. really cool.

i guess this is going to kickstart OP's desire to bet on sports. it's kind of short cut and because he does like football then automatically he can have hints and stats to watch out for. one thing to remember about sports is that it's never a guaranteed win, that's why i make use of the cashout button.
1337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and it's 4 Year-Cycle on: November 08, 2023, 06:41:29 PM

I just want to know if you're a god or a ghost.

If You're God, I'd buy a lot of bitcoins right now and wait for money to fall from the sky.
If you're a ghost, I'll sell bitcoins now and wait for a cheap bitcoin (say, $2,000) to buy.

But who can tell me, are you God or ghost.

it's the cycle caused by halving. believe that!  but buying at $2000, good luck with that.

with that image, it seems like the supercycle they are saying is just not true. all the while some of us have been chasing that cycle without selling a single satoshi because of the hope it will be an astronomical price. it turns out you will need more than 1 cycle to make you see the astronomical price. if you have held your coins since 2017 and will sell them in the next bull run i guess you achieved what you want once the price hits more than $100k.
1338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investing plan on: November 08, 2023, 06:24:54 PM
you must have some altcoins/tokens in mind before asking the question but you wanna hear that being suggested in this thread. you should have spit it out so that people will give you an idea whether it's a good investment or not. seeing how green the altcoins are these days, you'll think you gonna make money investing just about any of them.

if it's your first time investing in crypto. you might be attracted to promises of a new meme coin. you better be praying that it's gonna be pumped by the team. but most likely the people here will suggest to just choosing BTC or the top 10 altcoins you can find on CMC.
1339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tricky situation for Altcoin investment on: November 08, 2023, 05:20:16 PM
We all have to understand that investing in altcoins is riskier than investing in Bitcoin but most newbies fall into altcoins because of false information and promises by these scammers folding their money many times. Perhaps, it was really tempting and those who are greedy will certainly jump into it assuming that it was true but too unfortunate that after a few days of buying, the projects turned to scams and developers became inactive.

Altcoins are cheap --which is another reason why many investors choose it instead of Bitcoin. Yet they never know the possible end of their investment.
Actually, I think Bitcoin is much riskier because it's more volatile but there are also lots of altcoins out there. If we are talkin about those new altcoins or tokens which background is still not fully known, well obviously we would say that they are much riskier than in Bitcoin.

There are false information in the crypto world. It's normal even on other things but if we will only investigate further, we can always differentiate them from the legit one's. That is how we not feed those scammers and the people behind those. Of course they make it more tempting because that is the only way for them to attract people but those wise people will think it's too good to be true and they can avoid it easily.

what matters though is that these investors are making a profit regardless of which altcoin they may invest in. what is just needed to point out to them is just to buy the altcoins that are not scams like the ones not listed in any exchanges because this will just make them hold forever without a market to dump.

BTC or altcoins as long as it's listed in major exchanges, i think they will be fine until the bear market begins. but it will be safer to just be on BTC.
we've seen BTC dropped and rise from $3800 to $69K, it won't be different this time it will also soar to mars.
1340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: November 08, 2023, 04:54:57 PM

Of course current Jan is not an indicator of a fighter in prime and on top level. But I remember how he threw Izzy or I could say neutralized his striking by wrestling and ground control. A fight between Jan vs Pereira - Jan got old and wrestled less, but Pereira is not a top wrestler yet managed to defend all attacks. So in overall it a balances fight (if we speak about strength and skills) were Pereira won. That is why I think Jiri could do little against Pereira in wrestling and it would be a pure striker fight, were Pereira is better.

i did look at some of the analyses of MMA fans over youtube and found one somehow changed my mind. although this is something that is irrelevant between Jiri and Alex because each of them has his own style.

i thought maybe i should share it here to see what you guys can say about this kind of video and whether it could leave doubts about what Alex could do against Jiri.
so he compiled all the left hooks that Alex made since the start of his MMA career up to the latest with Błachowicz, counted up to 120 and only 54 hurt his rival.
