1361  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tell me a reason why I should use online wallet. on: July 14, 2020, 02:34:04 PM
I've been a fan of Electrum (an online wallet), just because it gives me ease of use technology and a factual possibility of sending my BTC instantly to anybody on-the-go as I sometimes use to gamble around $10-$20 and this also gives me an opportunity to send this less amount of BTC with least fee possible, so it's better to use an online wallet over an offline one because you'll need more time to get your BTC on the table while having your control on your keys through an online wallet like Electrum which is secure enough, you can utilize both the security and speed of BTC.
1362  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 14, 2020, 02:08:38 PM
But, from the perspective of investors they are ready to risk by believing into some traders' skill set. It means they are unable to trade by themselves and that must be the reason why they want to hire someone else to take care of their funds but for trading purposes. I believe this kind of dealing is already happening on most of the markets and because of it remains profitable to the investors, I guess this kind of trends are still keep popping up.

I believe there's nothing wrong in believing in a trader as being an investor, it's your first responsibility to trust your trader or else why'd you actually invest? Are you donating? No, right? The fact is, crypto markets are volatile enough to make your capital go zeroed out in no time if the trader gets into greed to quickly make more profits while having an opportunity by having those funds from investors. Trust me, that's how the mentality becomes when a trader gets other's funds. The thing is, even if an investor is interested in investing some of their money in a trader's strategy or trading itself, the trader should not just consist all the skills alone but also have some extra funds in backup, so to clear things up if anything goes wrong.
1363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading using someone else's funds on: July 13, 2020, 11:47:12 PM
It's truly not a good idea to keep someone else's funds and trade as my experience had been bitter on this matter.

Btw TL;DR this thread, can you share the type of markets you'll be trading in? Is it Forex? If yes, then you can have a PAMM account and ask your friend to create a PAMM investor account and ask him to invest in your account directly where you can already set up your fees, your profit sharing percentages and minimum deposit.

If it's about crypto, I believe I haven't heard of any brokers providing such a feature like PAMM, you'll yourself need to calculate things as you mentioned in OP.

Cloud mining? Did you say cloud mining? F[_]¢[{ Off.
It's been an old-school technique now in order to scam newbies and they literally won't fall for such shit schemes after reading this - Cloudmining 101
1365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots are better than Dice. on: July 07, 2020, 11:42:03 PM
It's true that slots have an edge over dice when it comes to winning, but the weird truth is, slots need more luck than anything on the table out there for you to hit those big numbers and win an awesome amount. I played one game a few days back but didn't hit more than 40x and after that, I lost even that 40x due to just betting it continuously and not winning/winning 1/3rd mostly for the exact amount of spins.
1366  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Get a Price ₿oost on every sport, every day! 🤑🤑🤑 on: July 07, 2020, 11:26:28 PM
I believe it was (and is still) a do or die situation for Watford and they've done it. They played well.

BTW, I'm rather betting on some interesting T10 cricket leagues from Europe, Czech and Australia. They had been the easiest bets TBH and win ratio had been much higher compared to soccer nowadays because sometimes no team wins in it and we lose due to draw. I just don't like hedging my bets with an additional bet called Draw or just a combined one.
1367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lesson plans about Bitcoin achieved on: July 07, 2020, 11:14:08 PM
It is very interesting to see that work and it is not hard for you to make a lesson plan because you have already a background in teaching or something alike. The only you need is approval from your head. Well, I hope this will be granted.

Dude, it's granted already before which is why they came up with this thread showing what they've taught to their students.

@OP, please include types of trading and gambling sections too (if allowed) in order to make those students aware of the fact that this asset class is too volatile and it is only good for those who don't overleverage.  It's also better if you put down the list of various types of mining equipment which changed from time to time for BTC and make them understand what it takes now to become a successful miner, now that BTC halving took place.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What PayPal's Entry Into Crypto Means For Users on: July 07, 2020, 10:49:47 PM
First of all, please link the source from where you took the logo of PayPal. Another thing, yes it will make a major difference if PayPal really gets into crypto as this had been waited for so long and their community is vast, so giving everyone a chance to take the advantage of both traditional and digital currencies at one platform will definitely give a boost to the crypto economy and make the total marketcap of the overall crypto spiked up (with BTC and other major alts that get listed over there, being a top priority).
1369  Economy / Economics / Re: Rising tensions and effect on global trade on: July 07, 2020, 10:40:26 PM
I'm from India and I know the level of tensions going on between both the countries but you also can't deny the fact that taking the advantage of Coronavirus pandemic where everyone is busy thinking how to save their lives from it, China is just trying to invade some parts (specific areas) of Ladakh and trying to get in through our boundaries, breaking their agreements. I don't believe we played a political move here by boycotting the import of Chinese products as who knows, they'll just start sending Coronavirus through their products in order to increase the pandemic ratio in India knowing that it's 2nd largest in terms of population?
1370  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to trade all of the coins? on: July 07, 2020, 10:29:06 PM
None of the exchanges would give you all the eggs (alts) under one roof and that's because each and every exchange out there has its own standards of measuring a coin's ability to be listed on that exchange or not. But as given by members, merge-trading is possible in order to save you the hassle of visiting each trading exchange and opening up a trade one-by-one at a time.
1371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: July 07, 2020, 05:58:48 PM
That can help to slowdown your losses but that does not really help with the main issue which is losing money on the markets, losing 3 trades in a row is also not really a sign of a bad trader, if the system you are using has a low accuracy but it is still profitable then it is probably a better idea to reduce your position size rather than to miss a trade that can be the one you were expecting all along and were trying to catch, however even such measures does not mean you have a working system in fact this is the bare minimum needed to have a chance on the markets.

Actually I never told anyone not to trade for too long a term, but I said that just spectate whenever you are unsure of the markets and biased about the ongoing situation. Missing a trade could help rather than going in for that trade with bigger the size due to greed. And keeping it lower from the start (like max 3-7% of your total portfolio per trade) and having a trailing stop in order to move your stop loss from SL zone to TP (take profit) zone helps you a lot in preserving a trade in a much better way.
1372  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we rely on Bitcoin and cryptocurrency? on: July 07, 2020, 05:51:33 PM
Relying completely on BTC for all your daily needs and stuff?
I'd say a straight no to this as there's no such possibility for BTC and the whole cryptocurrencies yet to handle the whole world at a stretch because of their least prices and uncertain distribution, while another thing is that cash is still available digitally which is why BTC won't really be a big deal for any consumer out there.
1373  Economy / Gambling / Re: URGENT. just won 171 btc (5700x bet) on bitcasino.io and now im locked out on: July 07, 2020, 05:28:13 PM
I am hoping so. I did not blindly deposit here, its recommended many places.
So, the last I heard was one hour ago, by the bitcointalk forum account Karl.
"Hey LAngel,

Sorry, but it is hard for me to say how long it would take.
Will check again tomorrow and keep you posted.

Cheers,
Karl"

What concerns me is that it is only Karl, who seems to have not much involvment in the site, that has communicated with me, emails have not been answered.
Bitcasino.io

Hey, first of all, congratulations to you as you just stole my dream. Trust me, I've had a daydream a few days back in which I had the exact same bet amount and I won slightly higher than you, i.e.; BTC200 but my bad, it was only a dream.  Grin

I believe that BitCasino had been a highly reputed and trustworthy gambling website but your win seems to be a number that they possibly won't be able to afford or manage. I think that you'll be asked for a settlement in the end, but who knows that if you're lucky enough in terms of getting the whole amount withdrawn to your BTC address, do remember us and shower some rains here hehe... /jk  Cheesy
1374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to spend Bitcoin on: July 07, 2020, 02:36:34 PM
https://www.buybitcoinworldwide.com/who-accepts-bitcoin/

While you were searching for almost everything, these are a few major companies that accept Bitcoin and allow you to spend them at their place while also giving you some great discounts for doing so. The list is probably the latest one and it's for those specifically who are willing to know about some companies from where they can usually purchase almost everything from food supply to industrial stuff and whatnot.
1375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: July 07, 2020, 01:18:34 PM
I guess anyone who is seriously in trading hopes to make dough. However, there's more to it than just earning a few shekels here and there.

I know that and I never said that it's all about earning bucks but learning from our mistakes and not repeating it. Another thing is that if we trade with patience and don't get into too many frequent trades, then I believe that it could save us from losing our funds if you talk about focus, as then it's not about earning but prevention of loss.

Let's just say it is decided by what side of the trade you are on, long or short

I didn't come to the point of shorting or leverage/margin trading yet. If you were to talk on this, the subject will become such an argumentative debate that we'll just try to bother each other hard on just one topic, i.e.; shorting. TBH, margin trading and leverage trading are more riskier compared to trading alts normally. Another thing, these types of trades have limited options available so it's better not to touch them if you don't really know what exactly are you doing (this is for those specifically who just jump into leverage trading at 100x and cry later).
1376  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: July 06, 2020, 05:18:01 PM
The question is you wouldnt able to point out on what percentage you do able to get in in the market. You cant spot out that you do able to buy in 20% rise or some sort
because theres no such way on knowing the precise time you do able to get yourself into the hype or fomoing market.

Who says you can't know that? Yes you can, but it takes a bit of time. You can just use your brain by watching only lower timeframes on charts such as 15m, 30m, 1h. These will show you that from where it started to spike and you can easily calculate the gains by just subtracting the current value of the token with the value it started going up from.

Quote
This is why its really hard to deal with it and
be sure on making yourself not able to become greedy in this kind of time.

Nothing is too hard if patience is kept at that time because if you've set a rule and have your instinct saying that the price won't cross above 60% and you bought in when price was already showing +20%, then I believe you shouldn't even wait for +60% but should get out of the trade at +50%, which will make it around 25% profit for you. You should get out of the trade earlier or else FOMO will just kill the opportunity to even break even when it starts falling and you keep hoping.
1377  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: July 06, 2020, 05:07:44 PM
@deisik, you're in to make dough? Really?
I mean getting dumped down by several investors of a project would really help if you were in the trade itself? It's sometimes better just to spectate instead of getting into a trade and losing. Even if you lose a %, you lost a few bucks and vice versa.

And @spike420211, neither way can you really dictate nor decide to go for n number of trades before stopping because as I said, every single person uses a different approach towards his/her trades with a completely different or maybe same strategy but what matters is the size of the portfolio you are using in terms of % that you'll put in that trade. Some traders lose too much that they end up getting their capital exhausted and that's why I said this that you should spectate only when not sure about your trade. To those taking it towards wrong way by saying that it could take them months and even years to decide whether to get into a trade or not? My suggestion for them is to just sit back and never trade because it's their disability to find assured trades then. Smiley
1378  Other / Archival / Re: Good deal for invest on: June 30, 2020, 09:46:52 PM
Hey, your English is too good to make me believe that you're a genuine business man. Please let me know where should I send you the coins, man! Hah, I'll just be waiting on my 2.5x till then, 2 months right? This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, how may I lose it? Post your BTC address immediately and I'll send you the coins right now! /sarcasm
1379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: FOMO In Crypto; How to identify It on: June 30, 2020, 09:28:08 PM
But basically it's just the same as producing panic buying because it is the scenario about the drama that keeps more people out of control and FOMO continues to increase. No wonder when they become FOMO because when prices are high they only think it will generate profits, because at the same time they are not aware of the decline that will surely occur in this crypto market when they have reached high prices.

Yeah, that's why I said that the time to get out of the trade is what matters here as in most cases, those who FOMO'ed in, do it when the price rises just around 10-20% and they have got higher chances of gaining some good profits compared to those getting in when it's already high at around 50-100%. The buy side gets exhausted and that's when you need to start getting out of your position immediately because you rarely get the chance to sell during the exhaustion period.
1380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: June 30, 2020, 09:16:36 PM
Unlike many other gamblers out there who would take a casino's welcome offers, I'd rather look for the casino, and if it is my type, then I'd definitely pass those welcome offers or bonuses. The reason is, I don't feel so lucky when it comes to meeting wagering requirements to be able to withdraw my bonus.
