1381  Economy / Reputation / Re: The Bromance of FruitsBasket and CryptoSparks on: September 24, 2019, 06:41:34 PM
Aside from FruitBasket there is really no one defending CryptoSharks on the services he is offering so I wouldn't give too much weight on him since he is only one person which can't be proven reliable. It's obvious that only one person is saving his ass that it can only mean they are either working together or FruitBasket is paid to save him, I don't see how only one person is giving him a good feedback when he claims that he has a good trading both that provides "guaranteed returns" to its users.
1382  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Benefits Of Using Trading Signal Services And Tools on: September 24, 2019, 04:28:34 PM
Your post/adverstisement is in the assumption of a trading signal will give a “guaranteed” profit for the users when in fact most of them are just sipping out money from its users. Even the ones who aren't in Telegram groups will milk their users' crypto on their trading signal. Even if the trading signal is of high reputation and is known on having a good ROI I still wouldn't recommend it to traders much more for newbies, it makes then dependent on such tools that they don't really learn anything how to trade on their own. If they rely heavily on it and the bought the position that failed they can only blame themselves for not doing their own background checks.
1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explain me the result of Bakkt on Crypto like I'm a child on: September 23, 2019, 07:07:34 PM
Aside from making it possible for financial institution entering the market on their platform BAKKT is actually pushing things for mass adoption. They are also made available for the consumer side in terms of storage and payment process, the thing is for this to make it work I know that they are already reaching out to big establishments such as Starbucks and Microsoft it is still not clear on what their partnership is all about but I think their is a possibility that its about cryptocurrencies being accepted into their businesses. If BAKKT makes it possible to simplify the process for crypto payments then mass adoption would start quickly with their platform.
1384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best way to announce a new blockchain technology? on: September 23, 2019, 06:16:47 PM
If you are looking to announce the project here in the forum then I'm pretty sure that a campaign/bounty manager can help you more compared to us regular members here in the forum, here is the list where you can contact them if you want too. Some managers here can also do everything from the creation of your ann thread (including the design) and the signatures to be used in the campaign, the price will vary depending on the manager as well as the service you want them to do for your project. The campaign is not also limited to promotions within the forum but as well as other outlets such as Twitter, Youtube, and other social media websites it really depends on you and what you want the manager to handle.
1385  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [Bakkt's]Now live (ICE) on: September 23, 2019, 12:44:37 PM
"The storm before the calm"  Grin

May mga baguhan na umiiyak o nagagagalit nanaman dahil sa inverse effect ng Bakkt launching sa merkado. Inaasahan ko na magiging less volatile na si bitcoin ngayong mas marami ng "market mover" ang papasok.

Going to the same logic diba pag may bagong “market mover” na papasok sa merkado ot would only make the market more volatile. Ang masasabi ko lang is just observe the normal market and lets see if there would be a big difference once BAKKT has set its footing in the crypto industry.
1386  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Labour exchange in the field of blockchain on: September 22, 2019, 08:39:48 PM
I appreciate the work you have made but a telegram channel is really a place where you find and look for job openings on the freelancing world. It's just an app where you can chat people up even if you set up your channel to be organized in giving a job posting there is a lot of extra steps involved compared to having it on a website. Just by looking at your telegram channel it is in a Russian language which means that you are looking to cater more people outside from Russia since you have posted it here in the forum, if you are looking to cater several countries then a tg channel can't hold it since it is too complicated to be organized for a job seeker. If you have this idea on a website then it would simplify the whole process of it.
1387  Economy / Speculation / Re: The recession is going to pump the price of Bitcoin? on: September 22, 2019, 07:50:08 PM
Yes, but it will not affect bitcoin's price.

Bitcoin will continue to follow its four-year cycle (with a small possibility of a five-year cycle) where there will be one full bull year and one full bear year. The price will follow the log scale.

You've got it all figured out, huh? Sounds like everything is already set in stone! Tongue

At most we have 2 data points, which is way too little to draw these conclusions. From a statistics perspective this is a wild guess. I'm trying to keep a more open mind. I don't think any of us has any idea what the chart will look like in 10-20 years. Chart analysis is heavily hampered by recency bias.

That's why I would be careful assuming Bitcoin is limited to its past log trend. I think that assumption will convince lots and lots of early adopters to sell ridiculously early.

I do agree with what extasie has to say whether a cycle exist or not there is really no guarantee that a cycle will still continue to happen with a lot of various external factors happening involved with the market and for this instance the recession. If a recession would take place there is really no immune market we can call as a "safe haven" as all markets would be affected with price increases of goods, unemployment, decrease and economy all of it will affect every people who needs cash to live daily. The recession will affect all and I doubt any kind of cycle will continue as long as we are in it.
1388  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 22, 2019, 06:43:31 PM
AC Milan play was kind of tragic.Milan is playing nothing. How long coach will stay Milan is playing nothing better than during Gatuso time.At least under Gatuso his defense was much better
On the other hand Inter didn't impress me.But it is Serie A games are often so boring
Juve won with his minimal effort so now only Napoli left
I had impression that Milan is some how lost under new coach

Marco Giampaolo is the best they can do now, with the whole situation I see Milan tried to catch some world class managers out there but they can't really lure anyone given their financial situation as well as the competitiveness of the team they have. Another factor why they can't attract quality coaches is the fact that none of don't want to play on a team who was penalized not to enter in any European competition for a year. Hard to say this but they a team barely in the upper league table now which can't even compete competitively in the European stage. They really didn't took a gamble with Marco Giampaolo, it is just the best available manager who is willing to play for Milan, I just hope he gets the groove on and glue the team quickly as possible.
1389  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for a tool that allow me to count Candles in a chart on: September 22, 2019, 05:44:03 PM
Even if there is one I just don't see any significance it will give as an indicator for trading. So what if for the past 5 to 6 years there are more green candles then red ones does it symbolize an asset's bullishness or bearishness in the present? It would be totally irrelevant since the aspects and conditions now will have changed from that point on, it doesn't factor out anything like how moving averages and the rsi is what doing as an indicator now on previous performance of that asset. Even if we look out for patterns you won't have one just by counting the number of green and red candles in a chart, I just don't see an importance of the number really.
1390  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: BitLicense Abolish. on: September 22, 2019, 05:11:39 PM
Expressly, companies and individuals are prohibited from engaging in activities involving cryptocurrencies in New York or serving New York State residents without a BitLicense.

So does this mean that even crypto traders and miners not involved with any crypto projects are also required to have a license in order to trader and mine cryptocurrencies? If that is the case then this sucks, if I'm a resident in New York I would be more than bummed and pissed because the state I am living is acting like I need to have a license before I get in touch with the crypto industry. With how the BitLicense is built I know that the main reason they are doing this is for KYC and tax purposes for individuals and they want to regulate what projects will come to the state of New York. I just hope that they haven't included individuals who are just involved with regular crypto activities it's really too much for them just to enter the crypto market.
1391  Economy / Economics / Re: CRYPTO-CURRENCY TAX IN THE UNITED KINGDOM on: September 22, 2019, 04:20:07 PM
@OP I think you have a misunderstanding on what taxes are. It's not about how you have withdrew your earnings from it but it is about how you have earned your cryptocurrencies. If you have earned it from trading cryptocurrencies or just hodling it in your crypto exchange/wallet then the earnings you will withdraw from it will be classified as capital gains because there are no other transactions related to buying and selling goods and services. But if they do came from buying and selling goods and services or any kind of business involved then your earnings would be subject to income tax.

Note:

Earnings from businesses or from buying and selling goods and services may not only be subject to income tax. If you don't convert it right away to Pound Sterling and decided it to hodl then the earning from it will also be subject to capital gains tax.
1392  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-09-16] Darkweb criminals launder cash for bitcoin at pennies for dollar on: September 21, 2019, 10:11:31 PM
Soon Bitcoin will not anymore be used in the dark web transactions all because they can be traced and there is nothing "too be careful" once you are into this marketplace. And this is good news for the Bitcoin community as it is not anymore going to be the target of many of those in the government who can be using this as the scapegoat to launch anything that can be affecting the world of cryptocurrency.

Sadly that will not be the case, even if anonymity coins are mostly use for illicit activities in the dark web daily and Bitcoin will only be used rarely it will still be the face of the headline since the news and media will always link it to the most popular crypto. They all have their ways of padding the news and hiding other statistics just to make Bitcoin look bad for the common people. The bad thing about this is the impression it makes to all of the people who don't know the industry and that includes lawmakers who just take actions because of it. This won't really stop not until majority of the people gets the general sense that Bitcoin is now barely being used in the darkweb.
1393  Other / Meta / Re: creating a new section: Mini PC on: September 21, 2019, 09:28:57 PM
Tell me how to propose creating a new section?
You could start by showing there's a large demand for it: can you post all current threads about mini PCs?

Quote
I would like to see a section on minicomputers, since forum users are holding nodes of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies on them.
I'd say this fits better in the generic technical topics. I don't think the physical size of the computer matters much for running a node.

@LoyceV we actually have tried this in our local board on creating other subsections for it (e.g. Marketplace, Trading) since 2016 but we never have any developments regarding this matter. And from what I know our own local mod, Dabs, has been gathering enough votes from our local board to show the demand for theymos but it never pushed through. Looks like creating a new section is a hard and long process to take so I think the temporary solution for the OP is creating his personal thread about "Mini PCs" in the Development and Technical Discussion board and talked about his concerns their.
1394  Economy / Reputation / Re: Flag - "CryptoSparks" on: September 21, 2019, 08:39:39 PM
THE BOT
The bot has been fully built from scratch by myself. It has 6 different algos running at once, 3 for breakouts and 3 for fast scalping. The algos talk to each other in order to make always the best decision. A trade is entered only when statistical data shows at least 80% winning rate. The bot is built with a strong money management system. Remember, a 100% winning rate is impossible, but a 80% with strong money management is more than enough to earn huge profits and exploit the compound effect. I can't guarantee a fixed amount of ROI since every month is different, but we never closed a month in loss.

He didn't exactly say the words "guaranteed returns" in his OP but this is the closest thing to it which is also promising the user he won't end the month with a loss. Of course this is enough for me to support the flag as well as give him my red tag. I just don't want the members here in the forum be fooled by these kinds of services, he also promised an 80% "winning rate" without showing any record or proofs with previous trades is absolutely unbelievable.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: September 19, 2019, 07:06:14 PM
Paris did a great job yesterday but the thing with the VAR is like the law in Balkan countries,it is applied on poor people without support and rich ones get away by bribing the officials.

When Paris asked for VAR it was given to them by the referee and it was correct to void the goal however when Real scored a regular goal because Benzema didn’t touch the ball the VAR was not given to Real.I am not saying Paris did not deserve to win they played better than Real all the time but I want to point out we have still flaws in the system.

What are you talking about? Real Madrid isn't a "poor" club and it's silly to think about that. Asking for a referee for a VAR will always depend on how he views things if it's really necessary and the referees have their own biases towards every given situation sometimes if he isn't sure about the play then he could personally ask for VAR, if you have proof that there is a bribe going on then I'll believe you but just by trusting your word about it would just make you look like a salty fan believing that their team lose because the referee is favoring the other team.
1396  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [PDAX] is now live for trading for Philippine users. on: September 19, 2019, 06:14:43 PM
Live na ba talaga yung exchange?

Loaded after a few seconds.

Isang  sulyap nga kala coins.ph pro eh ahahaha.
1397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do people lose money in the crypto market? on: September 19, 2019, 04:32:05 PM
Of course its the lack of knowledge on cryptocurrency is the most possible reason why people lose money. If you only just get excited that someone you knew earn as much as money here that’s why you joined then you need to think twice since this is an investment that we need to take/think seriously and put much effort to earn.

I'm surprised that this is now the second page of the thread amd still no one has answered anything about people losong money because of their emptions and how their patience can make or break a trade. I know a lot of people lose money because they lack even the basic knowledge of trading but both newbies and seasoned pros alike are losing money because of the panic and hype happening in the market, it's one of the reasons why they don't get to stick to their trading plan and mess up their strategy. Controlling your emotions as well as not believing everything you see will help you prevent losing money more.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sad News: Kidnappers now requesting bitcoin as ransom in Nigeria on: September 19, 2019, 10:45:25 AM
Can't the authorities take advantage of this kinds of crimes already? I know that other countries are blacklisting addresses linked with illicit activities. The Nigerian authorities could really take advantage of this on flushing them out once they send the ransom because they will be able to track them easily. If they blacklisted the address they have sent the BTC into then they would just trapping them giving them the chance to recover the coins back. This has been done with fiat currencies creating marked money there is really no difference except the marked money is digital.
1399  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: September 18, 2019, 08:56:30 PM
A bittersweet first matchday for our Serie A teams representing us in the Champions League. Napoli is the only team that had impressed and made an upset victory against Liverpool. While the other three teams failed to win their first match. Inter came out short and got away with a lucky draw against Slavia Prava. Juventus didn't manage to win as well against Ateltico Madrid where Madrid scored at the 90th minute mark. And now we have Atalanta getting destroyed by a Russian team, Dinamo Zagreb, on a 4-0 loss. I really didn't expect Inter and Juventus to have this kind of performance especially if they are the ones who have spend a lot during the transfer window. Lets just hope that their second match could bring some light for Serie A.
1400  Local / Pamilihan / Re: [PDAX] is now live for trading for Philippine users. on: September 18, 2019, 07:19:59 PM

Kung live na sya at ganito kabagal yung loading time niya hindi sya ganun ka reliable for any trader, I wouldn't risk my money inside of this exchange for now kung wala pa syang stable interface mahirap na mastuck ang position mo kung gusto mo na itong itrade.
